The ambience was great.

The floor rugs were kept dirty, and the lighting in the bathroom was too dim to shave.

Very nice location on top of a hill with big trees and a nice view on the lake. Nice place away from polluted air and the noise from the city centre. The room was not very spacious, but big enough for me. I liked the food offered in the restaurant.

The bar is playing quite loud music up to midnight. If you want to go to sleep early, bring ear plugs. The shower didn't have warm water on the days when I was there, but maybe that was a temporary issue.

Easy accessibility, very friendly/ helpful staff. I would highly reccomend this place, even to those travelling with kids.

Forest area great Reception staff the best and helpful Thank you for the free massage..had ask for it ...

1.No coffee . kettle in the room. 2.No cupboard in the room 3..WIFI 1 out 10. 4. Food expensive 5.Hot water shower ??? 6.Room 812. 7 No water pressure in toilet or wash off. 8.No chairs as promised for the balcony. 9.No table to eat in the room. 10.paid for double cappinincino 8k gave 10k...still not received the 2k change from the waiter. 11 Hotel wanted to charge me for breakfast for my guest. 12.Embrassed me then reception told the kitchen we booked for 2 people. 13.Spa closed.. 14 To many non paying visitors taking over the restaurant thought residents are nr 1 paying clients... 15..drinks and alcohol expensive

Lovely place to stay.

Room was very spacious and clean. Outdoor restaurant/bar area overlooked the water and provided a lovely spot to hang out with friends. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner food at the restaurant was delicious and attractively presented. Location was good. The coffee lovers in the group particularly liked that it was within walking distance to Endiro coffee, a high-end, fair-trade establishment.

We requested a room in a quiet area -- couldn't be accommodated due to construction -- so we ended up in a room right in the front. It was quiet until one party leaving the property after 1am was picked up by a driver blasting loud music from the car. Not the hotel's fault that they had an inconsiderate guest, but this is a potential risk for people in that front room. Wait time for food service in the restaurant was longer than average for dinner.

A beautiful view of Lake Victoria view. Has a nice sun rise and along with some friendly monkeys that come often early mornings. Good English speaking staff, and you get a free welcoming massage for all booking on this platform. Really needed after a long trip. Kampala forest Resort allows all the residents to use the steam and sauna for free at all times.

Sometimes the car park can be full, i suggest if you drive plan your journey early and book a parking spot.

The location is perfect,the rooms are standard,the food is awesome.

The staff are not professional leave alone friendly leaves a big gap since you don't feel welcome especially as foreigners.

One of the nicest places to stay in Kampala

Kampala Forest Resort is located pretty much at the top of Tank Hill. Through the surrounding trees it has a really nice view of Lake Victoria. The staff here are all great and very attentive. The restaurant is consistently good (I live in Kampala now but was moving apartments and one wasn't ready). I had a great time in the sauna and was exactly what I needed when I was sick. Comfortable bedding and pillows. Really large shower with good water pressure.

Smoke smell in one of the saunas (apparently is being fixed) and the smell of smoke in my room now and then when my window was open from the sauna wood stove. Cement can be very slippery when wet and in flip flops!
