Wonderful location. Everything clean and tidy and generous in supply ie jam, dishwashing tablets, soaps, shampoo etc Lovely to see trotters across the road early in the morning. Lovely big lounge window to see outside Bed supremely comfy. Airconditioned. Enjoyed our little break. Close to beach and shops. Alistair responded wuickly to all our questions

I booked the accommodation for my son and his wife for a long weekend. They had a fantastic time, felt the accommodation was wonderful and the facilities perfect for them. They would definitely recommend it and would happily go back again!

House was great location for our event, well equipped whilst an older house it was well equipped and had all we needed. A couple of minor environmental issues but nothing that interfered with our stay. Alistair was very responsive and easy to deal with.

We loved our stay in Bunbury and the house had everything we needed including a full size kitchen, comfortable beds and a big backyard for our son to run around in. Lovely location as well close to the beach and shops

Alistair was wonderful and so easy to communicate with. I was unable to go with my husband and daughter as I got sick so my MIL took my place & they had nothing but positive things to say about the house, location and how neat and tidy it was. There was even firewood prepared incase we wanted to use it. Super impressed. Thankyou

We stayed at The Stables for ten nights over Christmas. The beds were comfortable and we had a great time. The park up the road is great for cricket and basket ball and it is only a ten minute drive to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My sister and I couldn't complain, it was clean and had the choice of a gas heater or wood heater....even an electric blanket on our beds. The property is close enough from the city.

Just 5 minutes drive from town. Outside looks okay and the inside is clean, neat and tidy. Everything you would expect is there and we had no complaints. Certainly value for money.

Had everything we could possibly want. Obviously had some thought out into the set-up eg plenty of towel rails for a full house, roller shutters on front bedrooms, nicely enclosed back verandah, carport and plenty of off road parking for up to 5 vehicles (good for 2 cars, trailer and visitors)

Well equipped kitchen with dish washer. Location is great, with Coles nearby and about 5 mins drive to Bunbury town centre. Very helpful owner with almost instant response on text. If I had to pick anything, it would be good if there is wifi.

An older house that's been very tastefully renovated. The rooms are huge (as was the super-comfy king sized bed) and everything you need is there. Some additional touches like a bag of ice in the freezer (unless this was left by a previous visitor?) and some freshly-ground coffee for the plunger (with a fresh bottle of milk!) was really appreciated. If you're not used to the smell of horses, you'll undoubtedly smell the trotting track and surrounds for the first few hours, but I must admit that I didn't notice it after I awoke on the second day. The BBQ worked great for a big family feed and the yard is tidy and secure. Shopping is just around the corner (Coles and K-Mart) as is the local pub, bottle shop, servo and takeaway options. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. We took our boat and had some great options in Bunbury and also the surrounding lakes. We will certainly be visiting again!

Was a beautiful home with great amenities. The host was great and very accommodating when my babysitter pulled out last minute and I had to bring the kids along. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay . Everything was very good . My only hesitation in saying it was excellent ,is although superficially it was very clean the furniture generally needed a good dusting . I am not complaining as we really enjoyed ourselves but just making a comment , especially in these covid times .

Stables is 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house, all bedrooms quite large. It was well presented inside although the outside is showing its age somewhat. We stayed with another couple for a golfing weekend at Capel and the house worked out fine for that purpose. Beds were all very good, the location handy to shops, the TV modern and huge, and the local trotting track provided some interest as the trainers took their horses put for frequent training sessions. A few minor aspects of the house needed attention but nothing that affected our stay to any great extent.

House was spotless on arrival, fresh good quality linens and very comfortable bed in main bedroom. A modest house, but has everything you need: well stocked kitchen, fresh milk and cereal left which made breakfast easy. Washer and dryer available. Great communication with the owners who were happy to give us a late checkout.

We had a reunion held at the trotting club, so the location was ideal, however ordinarily would be a bit far from the beach and town centre. The street can get noisy at night, as it gets a fair amount of traffic.House was very clean and tidy and beds very comfortable.Alastair was a great host, exceptional communicator and went out of his way to help.
