Seguridad, comodidad y el cariño de una familia

Palmeira es un pueblo lleno de vida. Los pescadores, los restaurantes, los comercios... El puerto, las excursiones... Todo queda cerca pero se queda en una posición privilegiada y protegida. En el Yacht Club nos sentimos protegidas y al mismo tiempo insertadas en la vida del pueblo.

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft mitten im Fischerdorf

Die Unterkunft war ein sehr gelungener Auftakt unserer Cabo Verde Rundreise. Wir haben uns in den 2 Tagen sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gute Lage mitten im noch typisch kapverdischen Fischerdörfchen. Eine der wenigen Unterkünfte für Touristen. Hat gar nichts mit dem Massentourismusort Santa Maria zu tun. Gutes Restaurant Rotterdam in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar und gegenüber ein nettes Café zum Frühstücken. Flughafen 5 Minuten mit dem Taxi entfernt. Abholservice hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit.

Man benötigt Nachts den Ventilator (es hat keine Klimaanlage, was ok ist), aber Ventilator ist leider sehr laut.

La déconnexion totale !

Le Yacht Club se trouve dans un endroit stratégique pour tous ceux qui doivent se déplacer en bateau entre les îles. Palmeira est le port de départ / arrivée du ferry. Le petit village portuaire est loin d'être un endroit touristique mais on a aimé son authenticité. Petite perle de ce lieu isolé, Milanca qu'avec sa gentillesse et disponibilité nous a très bien accueillis au Yacht Club. Elle a été aux petits soins du moment de notre réservation jusqu'à notre départ , une véritable étoile de l'hospitalité. Grazie infinite !

Notre chambre n'avait pas de climatisation mais grâce au ventilateur on a quand-même pu dormir. L' A/C pourrait être un point à améliorer mais pas indispensable pour ceux qui cherchent des vacances un peu dépaysantes.

Great design befitting the name.

At the end of my two-week trip to Cap Verde, it was very nice to spend the last night in the upper "captain's" suites of the Yacht Club Sal. I really liked the overall design and the small elements related to yachts. I highly recommend this place. Palmeira is not Santa Maria, but the people are nice, like everywhere in CV. Thanks to Milanca and her lovely hotel employee.

Excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and close to a couple of very good restaurants. Milanka is lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. She is always ready with helpful advice on where to eat not only in Palmeira but in Santa Maria and Espargos. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sal.

Small, clean, basic ensuite rooms a 10 minute taxi ride from Espargos the "capital" of the island. There is a good restaurant a 3 minute walk from the property and that's all there is to the town. Quite why there are so many people giving 10 out of 10 is a mystery to me !

There really is no point coming here unless you have to catch a ferry. When I arrived I was ringing the buzzer for a good 10 minutes - completely ignored by the cleaner - until a couple leaving to catch their taxi allowed me inside just as they were leaving !

Best stay in Palmeira

Milanca who manages it was so helpful and friendly We were in room 3 upstairs which is worth paying extra for. Rooms 1 and 2 are fine with a shared terrace but it was nice having our own space up high Palmeira itself is a workaday port with little glamour but there are a couple of good restaurants and it's very handy for the airport Minibus 50esc to Espargos the another 100 to Santa Maria Airport pickup was 10 euro

Not much to please the eye in Palmeira but we still enjoyed a couple of nights there

Charming little guesthouse outside of the crowd

Mimanca first of all is a very sweet and nice woman. She gave us amazing advices to visit the area and her her little hostel is very charming and comfy. We had a nice room, hot water and a direct access to the terrace. The little village of Palmeras is charming and there are no e restaurants a minute away from the hostel. My wife and I had a lovely stay.

A gem in the deser

The house is an oasis in Palmeira, a gem of good taste and cordiality. Milanca is hospitable, informative, can communicate in many languages and has a sense of humour. Highly recommended!

Amazing host, great value for money

The host was just wonderful. She has welcomed us, offered all the information we needed regarding ferry to Boa Vista (how to book it, when it departs etc) and also all the possible information we needed for our short stay in Palmeira. We have enjoyed very much our stay at this accommodation and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Very cosy accomodation in Palmeira

Very cosy, nice and comfortable room in Palmeira! The patio is so nice with a lot of flowers and very comfy! The owner was also very friendly and gave us some tips about places to visit, restaurants and bars in Santa Maria!

Perfect little getaway

A small family run room only accommodation. Milanca and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a short but lovely stay in the authentic small fishing/port village. The room was very comfortable and had a private balcony with sea view. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking to immerse yourself in the real cape verdean culture or need to be close to the airport or port.
