Character, vibe, people. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
There is no car park and I had to park my car on the main road, exposing it to risk of damage and theft.
The shower (hot water pressure and flow) needs some improvement.

Food was bloody good. Had Sunday lunch which was massive, tasty and good quality. Breakfast was superb. Staff were brilliant.
Room was a bit tired. But at the price we couldn't complain. Nothing else wrong.

Fairly close to Witney
It’s about 2 Star. The room was cold. Heating was not on.

Good location and traditional pub, friendly staff.
Room was warm
The room was tired, the bed needed new pillows

The staff were friendly and helpful and the evening meal and brekfast tasty and good value
Sadly our room was above the bar and loud male voices until 11.35 when last left. Just nodding off when two other male voices started up. Eventually at 1220 we put the fan on as white noise to cancel them out and were able to get to sleep. We were in room 4 so suspect if in 1 or 2 you would have a totally different experience.

Fabulous little pub and a great find. The most yummy home made pie. Super breakfast. A real gem.
Sadly not a lot of parking, but that's not the pub's fault.

It was close to the venue of the party we were attending and a reasonable price. The breakfast was nice, there was plenty of choice.
The room was basic but comfortable. Whenever the loo was flushed or the tap/shower was run you could hear a pump turn on

Beautiful old beams in our room. Very comfortable stay! Breakfast was lovely and staff were absolutely lovely!
The breakfast was too quick as it was being served only from 8-9 AM so there was no option to sleep in if you wanted breakfast.

Everything from the moment we got there, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the room was perfect, beautiful place, thank you x Tammy

The evening meal was fabulous, very high quality. Every one was friendly and welcoming in the pub including the local customers.
The mattress was a good high quality one so it was very comfortable.
Unfortunately the shower had no water pressure so it was like being under a light spray.
The cooked food was very nice except for cold hard burnt toast (fresh soft toast in a morning is usually my favourite part of breakfast when staying away)

Charming village inn at Ducklington. Beautiful location, friendly staff, good pub food and tasty breakfast!
There was no bedside lamp in the bed room which would have been useful. Also was quite noisy from the pub downstairs....might be better to soundproof it more as could hear guests staying in the room next door too.

Great place to stay for a few nights! It was a single room but had plenty of space and a good sized en-suite. I didn’t use go to the pub in the evening but the breakfast was excellent!

Convenient location, easy to find and easy parking.
Our room was cosy and we had lovely towels and complimentary toiletries.
The breakfast was awesome - plenty of cereal and pastries and the fried breakfast had quality, locally sourced ingredients. The plunger coffee was delicious too.
Only two minor things : the ceiling of our room needed repainting and the pillows could have been thicker and fluffier.

Very friendly staff and wonderful in providing full take away brunch when we had to leave early and were going to miss breakfast - packed brunch was made (huge and including fruit) and placed outside our room prior to departure

Highly recommended. Only problem is access to rooms via an outside staircase

Lovely pub in a pretty village. Good selection of food and drinks. Clean rooms with good facilities. Laid-back atmosphere.
No problems with the place itself, but having a car is useful, because there are no shops here and the bus service is rare

Cosy, quiet room. Separate entrance to rooms so you don't have to walk through the pub goers. Very comfy bed. Shower was powerful. Everything in the room was sufficient and as you'd expect - couldn't ask for more for the price. Tasty breakfast and friendly staff.
Only thing is we were given a dirty mug at breakfast by mistake, but easily rectified. Can't fault anything else.

The staff are very friendly. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable especially the beds. With the bar closing early made for a very peaceful nights sleep.
The decor is slightly dated (although they are in the process of decorating). The room was dusty with a few cobwebs. Parking was limited as was disable access.

The staff were pleasant
Everything!!! The room was dirty and smelled of dirt. Didn't look like it has been cleaned for about a year. The breakfast room was dingy, the bar area was also dirty and untidy, could do with a complete overhaul. The guy who cooked the breakfast, his white chef coat hasn't seen the washing machine for a while.

Room and Breakfast were great. We also had dinner on arrival. Good for an overnight stay.
Directions on Booking.com could have been better. Thought we were in Oxford but were quite a way outside and took us nearly an hour to find because of the GPS. Travelling without the internet made it difficult to find. No parking at the site and no other facilities around.

The greeting and care from Amy on arrival was the best weve ever had anywhere! Made us feel like a local and this is very much a locals' pub! It is a period property and not a "chain sanitised" venue. Embrace the local personalities and you'll have a great time. Accept its natural charm or stay elsewhere but Ducklington is beautiful. Reasonable fare and very comfortable spotlessly clean accommodation. Quatre saissons its not, but the breakfast is authentic "proper" full english and one of the best we've had! Highly recommended for realistic travellers - manage youre expectations if you want michelin stars or hiltonesque modernity.
Was fine for us as we were off sharpish but check the breakfast timings as 8-9 might surprise more seasoned travellers.

Was greeted by lovely member of staff who was very friendly and pleasant. Plenty off very close off road parking. Very reasonable price for independent place.
It is in need of a refurb, shower was unusable due to pressure and temperature. Blind didn't cover whole window so light came through the window. Also very noisy from other guests.

Cheap and cheerful. Lovely owner. Great value. Can return at any time in the night
The room is very bright in the morning as the blind isn’t great so woke me up

Everything except the delay at breakfast.
We were promptly at 8 to have breakfast. Nothing was ready. We had to wait until 8:55 to get the coffe and the eggs

Very good breakfast and pretty surroundings. Very friendly staff.
Noisy in the evenings until after 11PM, which I wasn’t expecting on Sunday and Monday.
