it was so great hotel with friendly staff ( swaly - other staff) the ask us what we want to eat in dinner and the bbq for us it was nice village and kind people

Ocean view, calmness, garden with trees and palms, monkeys. Although not present, the owner can arrange things like transport for you if needed.

It’s worn. It was built nicely but it’s aged. Facilities like toilet, shower, sun beds need fixing, changing. When it comes to food, breakfast always the same, toast, 1 fried egg, jam and fruit, which was enough for us, but could not be for someone else. Chef can cook lunch and dinner for you and that is basicsllly the only option to get some food around this place. So you are stuck with simple food which is similar if you stay for more days. We did not want meat, so at least chef prepared seafood based meals for us. The dishes are bland, at least some condiments like ketchup and chilli sauce would be nice. We are not picky eaters, we ate every meal, but really the chef should get some other ingredients than tomato, spinach, rice and potato :). Lunch 700, dinner 850 ksh per person. not sure why the price diference, the portion looked alike. They should have more options, at least some snacks, sandwiches, if someone does not want the full meal. Drinks. What you can get is jugs of water, tea for breakfast and coffee (instant, as everywhere in Kenya). They should sell some softdrinks or beer on premise. If you want something you need to go buy it yourself. we found no bigger shop in the village. Only small ‘window’ shops. MPESA recommenended, the one where we shopped did not take cash. Beach. We were the only tourists on the beach, so obviously the target for guys selling something (at least they were not many here). We did not try to swim during the hightide, it looked rough. In low tide you can find nice natural pools to dip in. Wifi. It was there, but unless you were in the dining section the signal was weak, so in our room useless. On the room terrace you could catch it with some effort.
