The room was large, clean and cool. The pool setting is incredible (the plastic chairs have been replaced with wooden). Staff were very accommodating — we were travelling with a small child, they helped to arrange a cot for her and allowed us to check out late to accommodate for a late flight.

Everything! Beautiful, big grounds. Superb swimming pool. Delicious food Excellent staff - best we experienced in Sri Lanka. Very tasteful décor throughout the hotel. The whole place was spotless. Wish we could have stayed longer here.

Lovely place, very nice furniture. Staff is very friendly and highly professional. All is refined and authentic (even the meals, it's much better to have a perfect local curry than average european food). Very good breakfast as well, served very early at our request.

It's a bit expensive (but many hotels are overpriced in Sri-Lanka, even those with very average service quality). I would say we have paied the same price as in Europe, which is high for Sri-Lanka. It isn't a complaint since all was perfect, just a personal opinion.

The location and staff were incredible. We were treated like kings and felt so well looked after. This is the perfect place to start or end your holiday. We recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay near the airport.
