The B&B is located next to the white marsh south of Clonakilty. The area is quite lovely for hiking and Clonakilty is reachable in around half an hour.
The bathroom is not en-suite and will be shared by all the guests. Although, this was not problem and the bathroom was always clean and tidy.

The hostess Joan was absolutely fabulous and very welcoming and helpful to us. The breakfast was excellent and abundant. The house is spotless and the quiet location is beautiful . Located near 2 great hotels and beaches as well as being a taxi ride to Clonakilty €15. Hostess recommendation for dinner was excellent and the town is full of great spots to eat for all price ranges .
Whist the bathroom was shared with one other room - it actually was no problem at all. And this sharing was clearly indicated in the booking so no surprises there.

Joan is such a warm and welcoming lady We were a little late arriving and we rang Joan beforehand and she was so relaxed Joan gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner When we arrived at her beautiful house she gave us a very warm Irish welcome and immediately gave us tea and biscuits She was very generous at breakfast with delicious juices bread a wide range of cereals and delicious yoghurts The home cooked Irish breakfast was the most sumptuous we had on our trip She spoke to us about local attractions and places to visit It is abundantly clear that for Joan hosting is a joy not a business enterprise God willing I will have the pleasure of booking with Joan soon again Joan you are a lady in every sense of the term

Wonderful location and very peaceful. Joan was a kind host who greeted us with a lovely cup of tea on our arrival. She also booked an excellent local restaurant for us and even offered to drive us there.

Very clean accommodation with friendly host and nice breakfast choices. The slightly rural location outside of Clonakilty is perfect for a quiet few days in a beautiful area.

good breakfast, very comfortable room, and a major plus the owner, without me asking, offered me a lift into Clonakilty in her car, as I was there to play in a backgammon competition over the weekend

Joan was a very pleasant host, always greeted you with a smile and had great stories to share. Joan gave us places to go and see. Her B+B was brilliant, comfortable and a great location looking out over the bay. We'll worth the money and would definitely stay again.

Such a lovely host!
Last minute booking and we were welcomed so well.
She even brought us a tablet with tea, milk, sugar and biscutes right before midnight.
She served an amazingly delicious breakfast the next morning.
Would definitely book it again if I am around!
