nice property, but too many faulty or not working appliances. dissapointed.

roomy and the view

aircon didn’t work. didn’t supply didn’t get the correct amount of beds as booked. lounges were not comfortable. up stair accommodation very noisy.

convenient location but would not recommend because of lack of cleanliness.

location comfortable

not clean. needs fumigation as cockroaches came out of coffee machine and toaster. lots of cockroaches in bbq which could not be used as unclean. windows and sills and fly screens dirty. cobwebs everywhere. they had not been cleaned in ages. washbasin I’m bathroom nit draining properly. in addition when we arrived property had not been cleaned and no linen provided. we rang and they were helpful and came to clean. This however, is not a good way to start a holiday.

disappointed stay

The of the beach from the back yard was beautiful, location was quiet & serene . kitchen had everything you need . from cutlery & plates to electrical appliances. It is a nice place just needs some TLC & updating.

it was tidy but not clean there was a vacuum but wasn’t used brand new in a sealed box ,We had to vacuum & mop the floors as our feet were black from walking on it . the microwave stunk so had to clean it . outside table & area was not clean & barbecue was filled with cockroaches. there was a few cockroaches & spiders inside . beds we’re comfortable but the pillows need replacing as does the lounge you sink in it when you sit & it smells of dust . Wasn’t happy as when I go on a holiday of which was not exactly cheap my expectations are I shouldn’t have to clean . Needless to say we left it a lot cleaner then we found it . if it was cleaned professionally before we got there they shouldn’t be paid for a job they didn’t do . would return if the above was rectified but not at this point.

Well located spacious beach house.

The house is well located in a quiet street with not much traffic and close to the beach. You can walk easily to Fingal Bay. The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The decor is a little faded but certainly adequate.

There was a bad mix-up with our booking and we were told that we couldn't have our original booking. After almost 5 hours of being messed about we finally got into the Beach House but we wasted half a day. However, both the local real estate and the owner were very apologetic and did their best to compensate for the mix-up (allowed late checkout and gave complementary wine). So it all worked out in the end.

Great base.

The location was great. At the south end of Fingal Bay beach which is perfect for little kids and the track to the rocks for shell hunts. Beds super comfy and view (now tree trimmed) is great. Love the sound of waves at night.

Garage was difficult to manoeuvre in and out of however is typical of three garage houses today.

Relaxing stay. A spacious clean home

Easy walk to beach and shops. Fantastic sunrises seen at Barry Lookout ( just down the road)

Only provided 1 towel each for a week. Unfortunately the coffee maker didn’t work 😟

Quiet comfortable accommodation

This property is a short walk from just about everything in Fingal Bay - beach, small supermarket, restaurants etc. Property was clean and tidy with a comfy bed. Kitchen was pretty well equipped. It is a flat below a main house but was not occupied while we were there. Had a big open living/kitchen/dining area for a 2 bedroom unit. Access to a well maintained grassed outdoor area with glimpses of the beautiful bay. There area was very quiet and peaceful. Fingal Bay is a beautiful picturesque sheltered bay with Crystal blue water my favourite area of the whole of Port Stephens❤️.

We were there on probably the two most coldest days of the year and the house had tile floors with no substantial heating so it was very cold. There was garage parking which was great but the garage was very narrow and awkward to get in and out of even with a small car.

over all great stay and relaxing

We liked the property and the comfort of the bed and all amenities were great the closeness to the beach and walking track was great . The extra equipment in the garage was great although we didn't use them as the weather was bad for swimming but great to have anyway Thank you

We were not happy that there was no toilet paper...not even 1 roll so lucky there were tissues for our first night. In the kitchen there were no essential items like sugar salt etc. I expected these items because i have never rented a holiday rental where there was nothing at all. Also when I went to heat up some leftover pasta that I brought home form a restaurant, in a pan, I found that 2 pans and pots had left over food still stuck on them from previous usage,,,so obviously these wear not checked by the cleaners.

Relaxation

Great place to stay . Spacious , comfortable , good peaceful location. Close to all amenities , beautiful place to walk and explore .

The only downfall was the cleanliness of the property . Cleaners need to do a thorough clean , not just a wipe over .
