The stay was relaxed

Very welcoming and friendly staff

In the room there was a rat. Yes staff tried to assist but I think there is a need to close the door at the bottom to prevent entry of rats from outside.

Good Location, close to restaurants and malls and venues visited. Hot water and no loadshedding on our side of rooms.

Discrepancy between Advertised Property and Lack of Assistance from On-Site Staff

The property was situated within a secure and safe locality.

Upon arrival, my family, friends and I experienced an unfortunate delay of over 20 minutes outside the property. We attempted to contact the provided contact numbers on the gate multiple times, but regrettably, there was no response. After some time, two ladies emerged from one of the rooms that we had booked. It appeared as though they had just woken up and were utilizing the room that we had reserved. This initial experience left us feeling somewhat disoriented and inconvenienced. The rooms we were assigned did not align with the representations in the advertised gallery pictures. Most notably, the beds in the rooms were sunken and noticeably uncomfortable. This disparity between the visuals and the actual rooms was unexpected and affected the overall quality of our stay. The lack of complimentary water in the rooms was unexpected. When we inquired about the possibility of purchasing water from the property, as per the advertised price list at the reception, we were informed that no stock was available. This response was disappointing, and there was no effort made to find an alternative solution. Additionally, the shower facilities in several of the rooms were inadequately sized. The limited space made it difficult to maneuver comfortably, and the water temperature was not consistent. Unfortunately, the water was not heated to a comfortable level, resulting in the necessity to shower with lukewarm to cold water.

Excellent customer service and amazing rooms.

I loved the room I was booked in. Very comfortable and modern furniture; safe area. Friendly and helpful staff. They make you feel welcomed and appreciated. They notify you (everyday) when there is going to be load shedding, even though they have back up. I had the best experience at Riverton Manor. Keep up the excellent service.

The bed, the mattresses have got no support, it may be time to replace them.

I had an amazing stay at Riverton Manor, the staff was nice and welcoming.Lucy is the lady that received and was with me for most of my stay. She was very gentle and helpful. Helped with directions and made sure I was okay. I recommend this place ohh I love how they take care of their garden as well.

Good Value for money

Very nice area and friendly staff. Check in was seamless and they had my room ready before the check-in time.

They do not have a cafe or cafeteria that is open during the day - Only used during breakfast. They have menus that you can order from during the day, but it's not as comfy as just walking into a cafe, sitting down, and ordering something.

The location

Everything about the facility. The best way to describe it is to say it was a dodgy setup that is in the business to make a quick buck. This is by no stretch of the imagination a proper guest house. I was absolutely shocked and appalled when I saw the standard of the room I booked. Nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. Not the standard that I am accustomed to from Booking.com

Thank you for hosting me!

Location is perfect for people who like quite places. The place is very quite, easy access and very close to shops and malls. The service from the staff is amazing. I really enjoyed my stay.

The ‘old’ furniture happens to be very valuable antiques much admired by most guests but it had weird smells. - also they shower was filthy and the water from the shower would flood the whole bathroom. • The towels are not old, they might have been too hard for their liking but that showed they were clean. • They advertised that they have solar panels and never experiencing loadshedding but they LIED. we experienced darkness throughout our 2 nights stay. -The linen had not been changed from previous visit The mattress was also old and damaged on left side Even though staff are friendly and helpful, they did not clean room after our first evening. If you are going to provide a kettle in the room make sure there is coffee available. -The funny smell coming from the bathroom drain, we needed to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. Seating area on the roof hasn't been looked at for ages, they are not kept clean and organized - They didn't give us the room We originally reserved - We ordered a king-size bed they give us two single beds put together that was uncomfortable - The shower heads we spilling water all over the bathroom - The air conditioner was not working - Their dstv didn't play properly nor did it have all the channels
