I like how cozy and quiet. Away from the noisy crown plus they have great beachfront for snorkeling and the rock formation added some fun during picture taking.

Super Lage in der Turtle-Bay. Bei nahezu jedem Schnochel-Gang konnte ich gleich mehrere Wasserschildkröten sehen (Wassertiefe 2-3m). Anlage sehr ruhig, Personal freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten keinen Kühlschrank, durften aber auf Anfrage unsere privaten Getränke im Kühlschrank der Guesthouse-Küche abstellen. Wir haben uns als Teil der Familie gefühlt - gerne wieder!
Die Sitzmöglichkeiten vor unserer Hütte waren unbequem und nicht für zwei Personen geeignet.

The lady at the reception was so helpful and we also enjoyed the trips for snorkeling and canyoneering with our tour guides. Alba's homestay is located on a beautiful spot and we had a very nice view over the garden and the sea. The private beach was awesome!
A point of improvement would be some new towels after a few days and at the restaurant a bit more service.

Probably the best place to stay in Moalboal area. This place had a private beach/rif with turtles swimming in front. The rooms are very nice and the people are very helpfull . Could not think of any better place !

Allba’s homestay is een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen, met als allergrootste pluspunt: een snorkel paradijs recht onder je verblijf (snorkel-set te verkrijgen bij de accommodatie). De kamers zijn basic maar wel erg groot, een groot comfortabel bed en airconditioning. Ze bieden scooters aan om te huren, hierdoor sta je met 5-10 min in de drukte met alle restaurants.
De medewerkers staan voor je klaar en laten je echt thuis voelen op deze plek. Als we ooit terug komen naar Moalboal, zullen we zeker terug komen naar Allba’s homestay!
Het enige minpuntje was de douche, er zat niet veel kracht achter het water maar het was prima om je zelf even mee af te spoelen na een duik in de zee. Dit weegt absoluut niet op tegen de ontzettend fijne plek dat het is.

This is an idyllic homestay. It’s peaceful, relaxing and has a slow pace which is needed to fully relax.
There is an amazing coral reef at the homestay that you can snorkel freely at and see amazing reef life and turtles!
The restaurant serves delicious home made food even if service was a tad slow at times - but I put that down to the relaxed, chilled pace of the place.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. You can hire snorkelling gear and motorbikes for a very reasonable cost!
The Wi-Fi only really works at the reception. It didn’t bother us at all as we were there to switch off and relax but would be difficult if you wanted to work.

Perfekt läge direkt vid havet. Hemtrevligt, familjärt. Hela området lugnt , fantastiskt att snorkla direkt vid boendet & se havssköldpaddor & vackra korall fiskar . Rena, fina rum , luktade gott. badrummet rent & välstädat utan insekter. Personalen trevliga, vänliga & hjälpsamma. Vill man hyra mopedscoter ordnar dom så den transporteras till boendet . Fixar taxi etc.
Toaletten fungerade inte att spola trots reparatör, vi fick erbjudande om annat rum men det låg vid en pool som inte användes & som hade gammalt grönt, slemmigt vatten i, såg ofräscht ut. Så vi behöll vårt rum & fick hälla en hink med vatten i toaletten varje gång vi använde den.

Albas homestay is just a little out of Moalboal but definitely worth it. The rooms are excellent and the location very convenient. We went snorkeling just in front of the hotel and saw turtles and lots of fish. They also have free water refills in the kitchen area.
We organized our trip from Cebu to Moalboal through the hotel and compared to what we read online it was a lot cheaper. We got a taxi for 2800 pesos (50€) whereas online we mostly see people paying around 100€. We could also rent a scooter for 350 php per day which was very convenient.
We weren’t there for long so I don’t have any complaints.

Nous avons fait 3 nuits dans ce charmant bungalow, mais aurions pu y rester plus longtemps pour se reposer et bien visiter la région.
L'emplacement est assez loin du centre touristique, un scooter est donc nécessaire (on peut en louer directement avec les hôtes).
Il y a tout de même un accès à la mer réellement fabuleux, avec de très beaux coraux et poissons à aller voir en nageant au tombant qui est à 20m du bord. Il y a moins de sardines qu'en ville, mais c'est bien plus joli et agréable ! Des tortues viennent aussi un peu avant le coucher de soleil.
Le personnel est très gentil, on a pu profiter de leurs conseils, et de leur cuisine dans le petit restaurant.
La chambre était propre, spacieuse et jolie avec un peu de décoration, ça change ! Nous avons eu une climatisation en plus du ventilateur prévu initialement.
Si l'emplacement est très bon pour se reposer et faire du snorkeling à l'accès mer, il faut quand même un moyen de transport pour circuler vers le centre touristique.

Great location, right at turtle bay. You can rent snorkel equipment and scooter at the reception. We spotted turtles and beautiful fish right at the hotel. They also provided a water canister for us to refill our bottles. The reception was very helpful and handled all of our requests e.g. hot water, taxi, new towels.
The pipes seem older so sometimes the water didn’t flush properly.

Beachfront and the staff was very accommodating and helpful to our needs
No water pressure in the shower and the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet so there was a gap in between. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and most of the wall/power outlets didn’t work.

Besonders gut hat mir der Meerblick gefallen von unserer gepolsterten Ecke auf der Veranda.
Der Sonnenuntergang war mega schön vom Steg aus. Dafür musste man 15 Stufen runter und auf einen Steinsteg. Mega.
Schnorcheln direkt vor der Haustür. Das muss man machen. Morgens um halb 7 bis halb 8 kamen an der Steilwand Schildkröten vorbei. Man braucht nur ein wenig Geduld und Ruhe. Sardinenschwärme gab es an einem von 3 Tagen am Abend. Da kommen die Turtles auch zum Fressen ganz nah an den Steg und man sollte vllt nochmal beim Sonnenuntergang, während alle anderen sich den angucken, schnorcheln gehen.
Roller kann vor Ort gemietet werden. Damit ist man in 5 Minuten im Ort. Essen kann man aber auch fußläufig direkt nebenan.
Wir möchten die Lage sehr, weil es abseits vom Trouble ist und man sich da auch mit dem Roller hinbewegen kann.
Manchmal war der Wasserdruck ein wenig zu gering. Duschen dauert dann eben ein bisschen.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits, in ruhiger Lage. Die Hütten befinden sich in einer sehr schönen gepflegten Gartenanlage. Von der man direkten Zugang zum Meer hat.
Das Personal ist sehr nett und organisiert auf Wunsch alles. (Wäsche, Roller, Transfer, Touren usw.) Klimaanlage kann nach Bedarf dazu gebucht werden. Ein Restaurant ist auch vorhanden und Wasser kann jederzeit aufgefüllt werden.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ideal für Leute die es etwas ruhiger bevorzugen - auch ideal für Familien.
Die Dusche könnte etwas mehr Druck haben, besonders wenn die Nachbarn gleichzeitig duschen. Man sollte auf jeden Fall ein Roller mieten, da die Unterkunft ca. 10 min vom Ort entfernt ist.

Sehr nette Anlage sowie Besitzer. Guter Steg um ins wasser zu gelangen, perfekt für eine Abkühlung. Roller und Schnorchel werden günstig vermietet.
Kakerlaken sowie Schimmel im Zimmer. Kakerlaken konnten auch nach Desinfizierung des Zimmers nicht entfernt werden (kamen die nächste Nacht erneut). Deshalb konnten wir nicht schlafen. Gehen sie hier nicht hin, sondern investieren sie lieber 10 Euro mehr und gehen ins Casa de Moal Boal nebenan - Glauben Sie mir!

Die Hütten als Unterkunft zum Schlafen sind fantastisch. Angenehm ruhig gelegen abseits vom Trubel. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Sehr schöne gepflegte Gartenanlage, Zimmer mit leiser Aircondition ausgestattet.
Die einzigen zwei negativen Dinge sind zum Einen, das Restaurant und zum anderen die Beleuchtung der Gartenanlage und in den Hütten (kaltes Licht).
Im Restaurant war der Service non existent, für jede Bestellung, auch für Kleinigkeiten musste man zur Küche gehen und dort ordern, selbst wenn man die Gemütlichkeit des philippinischen Service berücksichtigt war das unterstes Niveau. Das Essen selbst war quasi mittelmäßiges Kantinenessen. Ein gemütliches Bier am Abend kann hier leider durchaus anstrengend sein.

Beautiful garden. Tasty food. Very friendly staff. Most rooms nice and clean. You can see the wild turtle when you snorkel just from the hotel pier.
We booked 3 rooms. Unfortunately one room (number 15) has bedroom on first floor with very steep and not comfortable stairs. Despite the longest distance from “kitchen” it has no (like others) drinking water on terrace.
The reef in the hotel area is dead. Very few fish.

Perfect spot to be away from the crowds in the center or near Panagsama beach, yet close by to even walk there (did it several times). With scooter - its even better. Tucked away in a picturesque setting the ride is day or night is so relaxing. Makes also for a great base to explore all the sights around (waterfalls/ White beach etc). Just grab a set of snorkel and fins from the amaaazing hosts and wait for high tide (protect the corals!) and you will be amazed. One afternoon I spent like 20 mins gawking at a 2 turtles :)

Seafront facing. Has its own beach for snorkeling. Rooms are quite far from each other except the next door. Good kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Motorcycle for rent. Big room and patio. Clean toilet. And Donna is super helpful.
Self service cleaning. Property needs more maintenance as there are many plants and stray dogs. Can be an issue if you don't ride motorcycle. Located 10 mins ride from town and Pasagmana beach.

I love everything about this place. It's spacious, clean, and quiet compared to other spaces in Moalboal. The staff and their service are superb! I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's far from the main road, but that's the beauty of it. You'll get the privacy you want. So if you need anything, better try to bring them with you before coming to the place. Also, the room has free drinking water. Depending on your room availed, they will charge you for extra fees for the air conditioner, rice cooker etc. so check your booking and ask their staff about it.
The only thing I didn't like is the slow water from the shower. lol

It was amazing to stay here because its away from all the tourist places so if you like it more quite this place is for you 🤗 also the cottages have lovely balconies where it is amazing to spend some time!
The wifi is just working in the reception area so that was a bit annoying - also you can not enter the sea from there (changes after the Taifoon) 🙊

The walk on the ocean side was nice,
Staff not very helpful, birds made there home just outside the window, making noise early in the morning. Had to choose to use the fridge or aircon or be charged extra, outside lighting non existing, water supply questionable. Weak and salty? Row of roosters as you pull up to the property ,sooooo....could be nice but needs lots of improvements.
