Good central option in Madurai

Mani' s is in a good location, walkable to the temple. Staff were helpful and provided a map with suggestions of places to visit. The room was clean and well equipped It's a good option for a night or 2 in Madurai.

Mani' s is on the first floor so wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility needs. It's central location does mean it can be noisy.

Very good stay

Very good experience in Manis Residency. It is at a short walking distance from main temples, good vegetarian restaurants and rail station. Taxi to airport is a Rs.450 ride. The reception staff is very professional, polite and helpful. The interiors are very good looking. Good value for money, I would come back.

Great location

Great location, 3 minutes from railway station and 5 minutes from Meenakshi temple. Clean. Comfortable bed.

Great place which accommodated our very late arrival - much appreciated

We arrived at 1am from the train station and the staff were expecting us and showed us straight to the room - this was very much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the aircon and fan worked fine. Water was left in the room each day. The shower was good (maybe a new shower head would be a good idea) and the Wifi worked well. The renovation is relatively recent so the fittings are new and clean. The room was quiet as we were towards the back of the building and we heard no street noise despite the hotel being right in the centre next to the bus and train stations. Great value for money.

Gute Lage, empfehlenswert

Super Lage: fußläufig zum Bahnhof und allem im Altstadtbereich. Mani's Reception liegt in der 1. Etage. Links neben der Eingangstreppe gibt es in einem schmalen Flur einen Lift, perfekt, wenn das Gepäck etwas schwerer ist. Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Fernseher, AC und heißes Duschwasser vorhanden. Ventilator funktionierte mehrstufig geräuscharm. Ich fühlte mich als Alleinreisende sicher.

Alles war gut.

Definetely book the next time in madurai again.

The stay was very pleasant, exceptionally clean and well-equipped room with a comfortable bed and hot water. The staff helps with information and onward travel.

No window in the room.

The manager was horrible as he didnt allow to keep luggage for few hours for 1 guest whose train was in evening.

Nice room, good location

The location was good, even though it’s a little entrance and can be difficult to find. The room was comfortable. Good value for money.

Had a pleasant stay with wonderful experience

Mani's residency is located very close to Railway station and the great meenakshi amman temple. So many options for good food near by. Of course, the hotel staff's are very friendly, polite and accommodative. Had a wonderful experience with the very fair room rent price.

We need to climb steps with our luggage to go to the reception. Lift is available but difficult to access.

Good location and clean rooms

This property is located near the Railway Station and Market in Madurai. The rooms were good and well maintained. They were kind enough to give us early check in for one room as our train reached at 5.00 am . We had to checkout early too..but they were considerate enough as we had senior citizen with us. They don't have any restaurants in the property but will give u tea or coffee from outside if you ask.

The hotel rooms are extremely small. The rooms are clean to some extent.

The small cramped space. No restaurant or in room service. There is a lift that remains closed and is opened only for luggage shifting, else you have to use stairs only.

The rooms were small, no windows, it was like a compact room. Not good for overnight stay.

Access to the temple and cleanliness of the place

No tea coffee sachet in the room ..but that's actually not a big issue

Friendly, value for money hotel in a good location.

Centrally located, rooms were quiet because in the back of the building. Friendly and very helpful staff. No breakfast is served but good restaurants are plenty nearby and you can order tea or coffee early in the morning. Even food if you wish. Value for money.

Good, clean and quiet hotel in the center of Madurai

Nice hotel, everything is clean, room has AC. It’s a few minutes walking distance to the temple.

Doors close after midnight, but what would you do outside in Madurai after midnight?

Mani's was right next to a great variety of useful shops and good restaurants.

The English channels on the satellite TV did not have good reception. There were no windows in the room and the bathroom could have been maintained better.
