Location was awful Place was filthy Unsafe conditions of broken door and stairwell AC didn’t work

The view and the proximity to the city centre. The size of the house was covering our needs.

The hostess’s attitude was totally unacceptable. The terms of payment were rather confusing because the only payment method accepted was cash even though the confirmation email I received was mentioning that credit cards were accepted. Furthermore, payment was requested upon our arrival and not at the checkout as usual. cockroaches were found in all bedrooms on the ground floors and separate days. There were several issues with the electrical power especially when TV and air conditioners were working simultaneously. the boiler performed really poor for 6 persons ie. At least 15-20 min to get hot water and 1-2 persons to have a shower each time.

The view was beautiful and the aircon in the bedrooms worked.

We booked this property knowing the furnishings were going to be a little dated and we could have coped if the house was clean and comfortable but it was very run down and dirty. There was barely enough hot water for one shower and water was continuously leaking all over the bathroom floor, which was dangerous especially for the two elderly family members travelling with us. The power in the house failed a couple of times we had to call the owner who was condescending and rude. There were also bugs everywhere. There were old broken cement pipes, furniture, pallets and clutter on the balcony and in the yard. If you are advertising a house to suit groups or families then at least make it safe and comfortable. Simple things like hot water, providing adequate cutlery and crockery for that amount of people. Also, on arrival we were told we had to pay up front in cash which was not stated anywhere on the booking. We stayed out as long as possible every day just to avoid being there. We couldn't stay any longer so we left the property early. Just terrible.
