An excellent value for the money - quaint and comfortable with excellent service and a good location

Everyone on the staff was friendly and attentive both in person and by text. The cabins was roomy and quaint - just what you want from a Mexican beach town. The ceiling fan provided a cool enough breeze to sleep by, so there was no need for air conditioning. The location is perfect - right on a nice part of the beach with an excellent cafe and cocktail bar next door Organic soap and mosquito repellant. Overall, it's a very good value for the money if you are looking for an affordable alternative to places like El Alchemista.

There are some night clubs right next door that play loud music until 3 am. But I wore earplugs and had no problem sleeping. Also there are a lot of mosquitos that are hard to avoid.

Meraviglioso

Bellissima struttura, i bungalow sono molto spaziosi e comodi. Il nostro era elegantissimo, fornito di vasca da bagno e doccia con un bellissimo design. Il letto è grande e munito di zanzariera per dormire senza venire infastiditi dagli insetti. Anche la terrazzina è molto carina, con le amache fuori per rilassarsi. La miglior cosa è la posizione che da direttamente alla spiaggia, fornita di strutture ottime come bar, ristoranti, etc. Anche la piscina è bella e tranquilla.

L'unica nota negativa è il rumore notturno: le camere sono attaccate al bar che di sera mette musica molto alta. Inoltre se si alloggia nei bungalow inferiori, le scale delle abitazioni al piano di sopra sono altrettanto rumorose. Non adatto a chi per dormire ha bisogno di silenzio assoluto

Everything was perfect. The specious room, the spectacular design, the view from the room. The amazing staff did everything to make our stay better.

Edle Einfachheit (fast) direkt am Strand. Ebenbürtig zum Alquimista aber zentraler gelegen.

Schöner reduzierter Edelhüttenstil mit Palmwedeldach, Ventilator Mosquitonetz, gegossenem Fußboden. Sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr angenehme organische Kosmetikprodukte inkl Antimückenbalsam. Alles sehr unkompliziert und chillig. Extrem nettes herzliches Personal. Mit Hotel verbunden sind zwei sehr nette vorgelagerte Restaurants direkt am Strand mit gehobenem Angebot und entspanntem Ganztagesservice.

Monate alte Staubflocken auf der halbhohen Trennwand zwischen Bad und Wohnraum (vielleicht nicht auf Sichthöhe der sehr kleingewachsenen Reinigungskraft?). Wenn es stört: Frontbalkon (Obergeschoss) nur mit Falttür verschließbar, aber nicht abschließbar. Theoretisch könnte man da recht leicht einsteigen. Aber es gibt einen Safe im Zimmer. Gratiskaffee aus der Thermos an der Rezeption nur sehr unregelmäßig.

Superb

The place is lovely and very comfortable. The parking was free, and the staff was very friendly.

I like the rooms, but there was very dark, even when you turned on all the lights. I like it, but I looked in Trivago, and I found that it was 50 USD cheaper. Next time, I'll check before on Trivago.

Rude staff, everything takes forever, pool is basically just chlorine. Expensive too.

No A/C, no mini-fridge in any of the rooms. the property is right behind a very loud club/bar that is open till 2 am.

short and sweet, one night by the beach. very comfortable sleep and luxurious treat to have a hot bath.

Oceanside, jungle vibes. simple and clean, very nice to have a lot of hot water for bathing, and comfortable bedding.

It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge, and possibly more eco-friendly toiletries.

Great little hotel, excellent accommodations and beautiful beachfront property

Perfect location on the beach. close to everything you need. The propriety itself is beautiful. lots of coconut palm trees and the room was beautiful - just as in the pictures. Everything was well maintained and clean. Pool was nice too although we only used it once since the beach is so close. Food and drinks at El Bicho ans Gula Gula were also excellent

Amazing time in Zipolite!

This was my second time staying there. Hotel is on the beach literally my view from room was the ocean. There are mosquitoes at night so beware. The pool is very handy because the ocean has very big treacherous waves.

The only negative is the loud music you can hear at night from the surroundings...bar across the street and club down the street. One night in bed I felt as if I was on the dance floor that is how loud the music is. So if you have issues sleeping bring ear plugs you will need them.

Amazing staff; beautiful space but not a quiet stay at night

The pictures really don’t do it service. The room is so large and the space is sooooo beautiful!

There is a bar that is blasting music until 4am every night of the week that is steps away from the room so that was a bit of a downside. I’m a New Yorker so we made it work but it isn’t ideal

Beautiful room, right on the beachfront. So peaceful. Great food at the restaurant and super friendly staff.

Not a problem but would be great to have a small fridge to store a few cold drinks.

Great place

Lovely room, hammock, swinging chair on the balcony, window that opens right up to see the view and get the breeze. Large comfortable bed, with mosquito net, great pool, right on the beach, restaurants and cafes very close. If I ever come back, I would stay here again.

If you don't like the sound of music and people talking and whooping, this propably isn't the place for you...it didn't bother me. Also more light might have been useful.

An Awesome Stay

This hotel was recommended by friends who had previously stayed here and it did not disappoint. We loved having an upstairs room with a large, thatched roof. The location in the middle of the beach was perfect. We were concerned about noise at night mentioned by other travelers so we requested a room in the back (#10). After arrival, we thought maybe a room with a beach view would be better, but we ended up liking our location so we stayed. The worst night for noise was Saturday, but the other nights were no problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed a week in December and will stay here again! Pool was too cold to use and never saw anyone in it. We used the bar and restaurant in front of the hotel several times. Wifi worked fine.

A small refrigerator in the room would be helpful. Not sure the hotel can do anything about the nearby bar noise, which is unfortunate. Keep the morning coffee, please, or add a coffee pot to each room.

Superb

Great bungalows in a beautiful jungle property, with the best spot on the beach. The beach bar and restaurant are perfect for a day of doing absolutely nothing.

Music from the nearby bars can be loud until late, so earplugs help.

Great stay in a special hotel!

the rooms are amazing, staff is so nice, everything is clean, location is amazing (just some meters away from the beach), pool, the atmosphere

there was no wifi, we asked a few times and they told us that the wifi just works close to the reception, infront of the hotel is a "beach club" ...so at night its really noisy

The cabanas are big and airy and quite well laid out, and they are a 1 minute walk to the beach. The receptionist was professional and helpful. The hot water is HOT. Close to some good restaurants (Boca Del Mar was good value with big portions).

This isn't really a hotel; it's a scattering of cabanas set back from the beach. It felt empty and lacking in life to me, with no hotel facilities to speak of, except the rather unappealing and pointless pool tucked away at the back. The wifi was only working in the reception area when I visited. Owing to the bars nearby playing loud music until 2am I struggled to sleep. Overall I thought it was overpriced even though the cabanas themselves were good.
