We loved the cosy cottage with all the amenities and so well placed for walking into town and countryside. a big bonus was the off street parking too.

Given the choice I would have preferred a king sized bed, but appreciate that might not be an option in the bedroom layout. we would love to come back for another holiday.

The accommodation was exactly what me and my wife needed. Close to the town, parking clean, homely and everything was to a high standard.

Nothing springs to mind

Really close to town which was convenient. All the facilities you'd need in the kitchen. Great to have a parking space on the drive. Comfortable bed and nice bedding set. Towels also provided which we didn't expect.

For £740 for the week you'd think there'd be a bottle of washing up liquid for the sink. House smelt a little musty. Needed a deep clean. Too many cobwebs and spiders. Had to vac 4 up from the coving in the entrance porch area when we arrived as husband has a phobia but still cobwebs everywhere...huge one by fridge on skirting board remains. Noisy traffic in the morning as on the main road but we woke early - this could put someone off who likes a lie in!!

Great location and a beautiful little cottage. Very well equipped with everything we needed and more! Little outside space was lovely too. Very comfy bed and pillows. Great shower and bath - we had a great time here, thank you.

The bedroom was at the front of the house which was quite noisy with traffic from 7am. It may be that we're just not used to it.

Good central location although some traffic noise. Very comfortable and caters for every need. Good bus route to other places if you dont want to use your car. Lovely town of Ambleside lots to do and places to eat.

Washing machine was a bit tricky needed a service and clean otherwise all good
