Located in Sturgeon Bay, this charming cottage for $628 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This cottage is on the water, overlooking beautiful Sturgeon Bay. Perfect place for fishing, kayaking, bonfires, biking... One block from Otumba Park's tennis, basketball, volleyball courts, playground, and a public beach. gorgeous walk to downtown Sturgeon Bay. The 3 bedrooms in the cottage hold a King, Queen, and a Full bed. Additional Queen and Full sized hide-a-beds are available so we can now accommodate up to 10 guests. Full kitchen dining room for dinner parties with lots of indoor/outdoor space for family cookouts, reunions, or weddings. Musical instruments, vinyl records, movies, games, and books can entertain if the weather keeps you indoors. 2000' waterfront sundeck and 5' fire ring. 84'' dock (June 15th until Sept 15), I have built/rebuilt it with friends over the years with what I like to call "a hodgepodge collection of my emerging (and emergency) carpentry skills". My 12 year old son and I call Door County home year round and love to travel as much as possible during our guest stays. We hope that you will enjoy the cottage as much as we do. Guests of ALL AGES are ENCOURAGED to play the instruments in the music room. We love to hear it! In fact, feel free to use anything you find in and around the cabin: from tools, appliances, utensils, to the fire pit, and outdoor grills, or even the row boat or kayaks(at your own risk (during the day (and use life vests!))). We are not your typical waterfront rental.

Great location, beautiful view, comfortable beds. Responsive Host. Couldn’t ask for anymore! Our family of seven had a wonderful stay. The accommodations had everything we needed, including kayaks and a canoe to explore the bay. Mike was a great host. We would definitely recommend to others!

We ended up leaving and finding a hotel instead because the property was filthy to the point we did not feel comfortable staying there. And we paid over $500 for one night! I think the homeowner is a hoarder. There was trash and junk, including an old mattress, wheelchair and broken trampoline outside and inside the property was unclean and run down. We also had difficulty reaching the owner to get the code to get into the property so in the end it took up our entire day and ruined our weekend trip! I am very disappointed with my Vrbo experience and wonder if you vet the properties on your site.

A group of 60+ stayed for one night and loved sitting on the huge deck enjoying the music cascading across from the bay. The cottage is very comfortable for a group and we loved the music room. Michael was a great host! We all would stay there again.

Views from bay side of house and deck were great, house was very clean, if a bit dated, there is a city park with playground and sand beach two blocks walk away, the dock is serviceable(24’ boat with ~ 3’ draught), lots of things to do close by, about 1/2 hour to Lake MI by boat, great boat launch/cleaning station five minutes away, quiet neighborhood, lots of games and TVs if the weather turns bad. We’ll stocked kitchen and plenty of towels.

The area where the house is located is beautiful and situated right on the inlet of green bay. Sitting on the balcony looking out over the water at the surroundings were very comforting and exciting. I wish we had planned to stay there for more days than we did. It's very close to other activities within walking distance.

This little cottage on the shore of Sturgeon Bay was perfect for our overnight stay in Door County! There were 2 married couples staying for 1 night. It was clean and quaint inside, had a dock and fire pit outside, and was easy to find. The owner was quick to respond to questions through the VRBO messaging system and was extremely accommodating to our needs. For the money we would have spent on 2 rooms at a hotel or B&B we had a way nicer stay here! Will definitely look at this place again when we return to Door County! Thank you M!

Check In is 3. I contacted the owner numerous times because there was no check in information or codes to get in house. Finally around 5 I heard from him. Lockbox with house keys in it was very inconvenient to access, especially in the dark. The space size is nice but very outdated and unusual set up. The deck furniture looks like it’s in a trailer park. For the amount I paid per night I am extremely disappointed.

This was a perfect place to stay for my friends and I. There were 3 of us and we had 3 nice bedrooms. The king room bed was softer and the other 2 beds were firmer. They had a nice roomy kitchen. The view was great. We wanted so badly to have patio time, but the weather had other plans for us (it was raining). There was a nice fridge that allowed is to store food and cook there. The bathroom had nice toilet paper. I know this sounds weird to write in a review, but all 3 of us commented how nice it was not to have cheap toilet paper. We noticed! The temperature in the house was perfect as we had access to the thermostat and could turn it down or up as needed. We were very pleased with our stay. Host was quick with responses when we had a question.

Little older than we were expecting. Great view overlooking the harbor. No bells or whistles though. Wifi and TV's did not work. Owner was non-responsive in that regard. Watched TV on our phones. Not ideal.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. The deck has almost 180 degree views of Sturgeon Bay, and the cozy cottage is stocked with musical instruments, games, & books to play with. It was a great place for a family getaway. The house isn't fancy, but it's quite comfortable, and accommodated our group of 6. The neighborhood is very nice & close to downtown Sturgeon Bay and a park with beach access to the lake. It was a great base location for seeing sights in Door County and we'd be glad to stay there again.

Everything was perfect. Check in process super easy and detailed. House is so homey and has an amazing view. Beds were very comfortable and clean! 5 min drive into downtown. He thought of everything! Will be back!

The pictures don't really do this place justice. Yes, it's an older property, but they've made some lovely upgrades. The views out the windows are stunning. Mike does a very good job providing his guest with a great place to stay as well as a little extras in case you forgot something. The location could not be more perfect and actually is well within walking distance of certain area attractions. For us, we only had one suggestion. Add an extra step to the front door.
