Alternatively, there is also free public parking and beach access less than 0.5 mile from the property if you'd rather drive. THINGS TO KNOW The free pool solar heat system is dependent on the weather. The fireplace in the living area is decorative and not usable by guests. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Security camera details: This home features a front entry security camera, pool equipment camera, and a camera facing the koi pond/carports. 3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool spa. A fee of USD 40 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool spa heat for your stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. We loved the property and location. We emailed on Wednesday before our Friday arrival to heat the pool & hot tub, but they never responded back. Talked to VACASA on Thursday and they were able to add Thursday night to our stay but wasn't able to add the heat until Sunday but would charge us $180 for the full stay instead of just the $40 a day (We were checking out Monday morning, so we told them not to worry about it). I asked why they didn't go off of the email and she said we had to CALL ahead. Kids still went for a short swim in the icey water. Not a bad thing but want to note for future renters the shallow end was chest level for my 10 yr old (we have tall kids for their age) Overall a nice stay just wish the communication was better and wish they would have charged only for the days of heat used (or atleast have checked the emails)

We loved the house, pool, and outdoor grill. House was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. Short walk to the beach although you do have to cross A1A to get there so we were hesitant to go at night since the road is rather busy. We would definitely stay again!

The inside is even more lovely, very comfortable beds, perfectly setup for a family to enjoy. Neighborhood was very quiet and a very easy walk to the beach.

Loved the house and pool. We were able to walk to the beach easily. The new public boardwalk is close and very nice. Outside area was great to hang out in. We did have some power issues when we arrived but it was fixed within an hour. I was disappointed about not having the hot tub heated. I messaged through VRBO 3 days before I wanted it on and they did not message me back in time to be able to turn the heat on. Everything else was great, but if you want the hot tub heated I suggest calling way ahead of time.

The property itself and location are nice. Crescent Beach is beautiful w/natural wildlife and a soft sandy beach w/fine sand and nice rolling wave break.
This would've been a 5-star review except for the inability of the property ownership/management to turn on the spa heat. We rented this property specifically because it had a heated pool and spa. Instructions online were to provide advance notice for the spa heat to be turned on as it costs extra. We provided 6 days notice through the Vacasa app (side note that it is annoying to have to download a separate app apart from VRBO) and additional notice on the day that we arrived. After dozens of text messages with multiple contacts, they were unable to get the spa heat turned on. They also had a natural gas vendor show up to the house who was supposed to work on the spa heat, but thought he was there to light a fireplace. All we got for this major inconvenience was our $250 payment back for the spa heat and about $130 for our troubles. IMO, this is not commensurate to the lack of an important amenity for the entire vacation.
Apart from the spa issue, the owners could improve the property by having wash cloths, beach towels, wine glasses made of glass, and access to use the bicycles locked in the garage.

The house was very well appointed and comfortable. We loved the yard and the pool. Only minus was the noise made by a next door neighbor who was building a garage.

Let's start with the positive. The home is lovely. The kitchen and living room are both nice and open. The masterbed room is great with a lovely seating porch that over looks a very beautiful backyard. The location is great for restaurants and proximity to the beach and st. Augustine city center. Now the negatives. First off a house is being built directly next door. It's not even got the roof on and the construction starts between 7 and 7:30am. They do stop around 4pm so that's good. I guess. The guest room with the bunk beds is awful. The bottom beds mattress has no support and leans to one side. Terribly low to the ground and extremely difficult for anyone other than a younger person (think 7 to 15) to get out of the bed. The top bunk is dangerously close to the ceiling fan when climbing the ladder. The front stairs and sitting porch need to be repaired. Do not,i repeat do not go out onto the front stairs or the master bedroom patio without shoes. You will get a splinter. The nails are coming out as well. The cleaning is not good. We arrived after 4 to cleaning personnel just arriving saying the previous guests had "just left" so she wasnt able to clean well. Check out is at 10am. Dust rag was left on the mantle. Used popsicle sticks left on the mantle and in one of the guest beds. The pool became cloudy and green the 2nd day we were there. Requested maintenance to come out and clean and was told they would be out Thursday. We arrived on Saturday leaving Friday morning so that wasn't helpful. It didn't look like they ever arrived really. The dishwasher was not secure and we needed maintenance for that. They arrived promptly but only because it was a safety issue. The floors weren't vacuumed and it took 5 to 6 hours to cool the house down from 80 degrees upon our arrival to finally 70 after the sun had set. I say all of that so anyone renting this home won't be blindsided. Probably wont rent this place or from VACASA again to be honest. It's a shame because the home has potential to be amazing.

We really enjoyed the house, location is excellent 2 blocks from the beach, 5 min from publix, 15 min from st Augustine, pool and outside grill were also very good, there was a construction site in the house next door that was the only negative but certainly would book again

Our family stayed here for a week and had a great time. The house was very well equipped, the pool area was set up really well for a nice relaxing trip, and the beach was super close. Our toddler loved the koi pond. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great rental

Perfect girl’s weekend house!

House was decorating with such caring. Homey and thougt of everything. False info from rental company. Pool not heated at all. Had to get hot tub turned on and had to pay extra. We had teens with us, and counted on the pool.
I took pics for the owner. Railing broke and rental company said, we know.
House was amazing, but I will never rent under that management company again.
Also, paid cleaning fee, but We had to take out all trash and make sure dishwasher run.
Again, deceptive advertising. We stayed 5 days from 1/30

I am unsure we’re to start.
1. Paid to have spa heated for the entire trip 4 days prior to arrival unfortunately it was not taken care of and took multiple calls until the management company changed their response from too late to ok. To have it turned on
2. The spa floor plastic cover was broken leaving a gaping hole with sharp edges, the pool guys response was be careful….
3. Arrived to a dirty pool due to not being cleaned in what had to be weeks.. (it’s not heated)
4. Fireplace did not work was told it’s only for show anyway (it’s obvious that’s not the case). Listing for the property says otherwise…
We made the best of our time there but we are completely shocked that we were offered no refund for the time without heat in the hot tub. It’s pay by the day and Vacasa didn’t have it turned on and didn’t want to have it turned on when we pointed it out. Zero communication from them regarding the issues and the amount of effort it took to have the issues resolved. I suggest the homeowner finds a more professional property management company.

Best Vacation

The kids had a blast in the pool and the setting was quiet and serene. The beach is very close, but it's better to drive there with young kids, as you have to cross the A1A and walk a bit to the nearest beach ramp.
