This Comfortable Cottage that sleeps four has undergone a complete renovation. Experience this wonderfully wooded and quiet cottage very close to the Interlochen Arts Academy with its summer concert series. Near local lakes and restaurants and a quick trip to downtown Traverse City, the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan beaches. Come and experience Pure Northern Michigan at its finest. This property sits down a curvy drive with trees on the side, sand and weeds for lawn and a woods far back on the property. The inside of the property was clean, remodeled and had a useable kitchen and updated bathroom. The bed was not comfortable and highway street noise could be heard even with the windows shut. The WIFI signal was weak and two lonely chairs in the back by a firepit were not inviting . Our stay was OK, but from the online description, I expected more.

Great overall. Just had a bit of trouble on the walkway to the porch as it was a bit uneven for a senior citizen with a back problem and vision problems. We would still stay here again. The double handrailing is a blessing.

The one bedroom property looked just like the pictures online, and the dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. It was a quiet little getaway. We do wish the bed were comfier, or larger. Extra blankets would have been a nice touch.

Clean, central to all our area plans
The one bedroom property looked just like the pictures online, and the dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. It was a quiet little getaway. We do wish the bed were comfier, or larger. Extra blankets would have been a nice touch.

Perfect
A spacious 1 bedroom and 1 bath with a nice shower - and all of the rooms were big enough for what we needed. Kitchen was open and large as well. Easy to get in and out, and our dog was comfortable to complete our family.

Very clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the driveway was difficult to see even once we knew where it was.

This property is very comfortable for 4 adults and one dog! The cottage was very clean and mostly updated! Was missing window treatment in bath for privacy and kitchen would look much nicer with some window treatments!! Could definitely use a mirror in the bedroom and a tv especially if parents are traveling with teens! We could not figure out any local tv stations so thankfully we were able to watch netflix and Disney...WiFi worked well!!! The property is not ideal for a dog as very little grass and a ton of sand that gets tracked into cottage constantly. I think with some attention to driveway (maybe adding gravel would help) and fixing up the yard this could be a 5 star stay as the owners are very attentive to their guests!!!

The owners gave us the wrong pass code to enter the unit and were not available for over 30 minutes while we waited outside to enter the cottage. The cottage itself was nice, clean and well equipped. The main highway nearby detracts from outdoor activity, but road noise was not noticeable inside.

Amazing cabin in the woods. Very nice with recent renovations. Great location to easily drive to Sand Dunes or Traverse City. Would stay here again!

The property was completely remodeled, everything was brand new. The property owners were great to deal with, they were very helpful & extremely fast at answering any questions. I am extremely satisfied with my stay.

Cozy
We loved the everything about it. I loved how it was tucked in a wooded area and how clean and organized everything was. She even included a list of near by place which was beyond helpful. We would most definitely go back again!
