In response to COVID-19, our cottage will be disinfected and sanitized professionally prior to all check-ins. Professionally decorated, fully renovated Cottage with 3 Bedrooms & 3 Bathroom Cottage located in the Village at Hawks Cay on Sunset Drive. Spend your vacation taking in fabulous sunsets right off one of the two balconies. The interior has been completely renovated. New furniture, bedding, flooring, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, Samsung TVs and much more. You will absolutely love the accommodations our Cottage offers you and your guests. Our designer and contractor designed it with you in mind! Come relax with us in the fabulous Florida Keys. The Kitchen is open to the dining room and living room which is open and airy with natural light filtering in from the windows and sliding glass doors. This opens up to your own screened in patio which overlooks the crystal clear waters of Duck Key and Tom's Harbor. Sit on the patio on either floor and take in the unforgettable sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay to dine in should you choose to. The Living Room has a West Indies motif and is equipped with a sleeper sofa, two deep seating chairs and 52" Samsung TV, surround sound, Blu-Ray player and iPod docking station, free WiFi and over 100 HD channels for your enjoyment! One of the main reasons The Florida Keys has become a vacation hot spot for east coasters is the weather. The weather is beautiful year round in Duck Key with average temps in the 70's throughout winter. Two of the bedrooms are located upstairs and have their own private bathroom and TVs, and a third bedroom is located downstairs with its own TV. The Master Bedroom is equipped with a king bed with a new pillow top mattress. The Guest Room has 2 Queen beds, both with new pillow top mattresses, and the third guest room has a new Queen pillow top mattress. Mattresses need updating.
If the use of a pool is important, this is not the place to stay.
Our major issue was with the 'Pool' listed in amenities. FYI it is an 8mi drive to this Pool! Not child friendly! Not adult friendly! Pool is size one would have in your backyard!
Six adults were treated like 8 year old's who were in Detention in school! We were courteous and patient but property manager/drill Sargent Ellie would not let us speak. We tried to explain why we were there but she repeatedly interrupted us, not listening to our very simple question. Example - she yelled at us to look at her while she was talking! because one of our group turned to look at the pool area. I could go on....
We are not sure if Management requires her to guard this very small pool like it's Fort Knox or if she is just high on having authority, but there was no cause for the rudeness and insulting behavior. The 20 minutes left a very bad taste with all of us.
Although condo is located in Hawks Kay property, we suggest Owner HIGHLIGHT there is NO access to ANY of the Hawks Kay facilities (including Pool, Spa, Beach and Restaurant) and forego the little pool 8 miles away completely. We were wrong to assume the drive to this little pool would be worthwhile as being comparable to Hawks Kay!

We had a wonderful stay at this townhome celebrating my youngest son's birthday and Christmas. The home had everything we needed and was well cared for. We had great views of the sunset over the harbor each night and the neighborhood is clean and quiet.

This place was so nice!!! Loved the sunsets and was well equipped with all the things you needed. Beds and pillows were so comfy! The Cabanna Club membership that comes with the Condo was great (it is 7 miles down the road, but who cares we were on vacation) We sunbathed, ate there and swam in the ocean. I would definitely recommend this place. Loved IT!!

The property was in excellent shape – clean, updated and well equipped. The location is great – just a short drive to beaches and restaurants. The two patios offered fabulous views of the water. Actually, the pictures do not do the property justice.
We had two issues during our stay. First, the Keurig coffee maker would not turn on. Maintenance picked up the Keurig to get it cleaned, descaled, and whatever. It worked fine after it was returned. Great response!
The other issue was that one of the TVs in the bedroom would not power on. The manager said: “It’s not something that I’ll be able to address during your stay”. So I paid to rent the place and didn’t get everything that was in the description. Not cool. No adjustment was offered. Not cool.
If the TV wasn’t an issue, I would have easily given the property a 5/5. I know that things break, but management didn’t seem to think it was import to honor their commitment or make adjustments.

Our family enjoyed the very nice unit owned by the Carters. It was well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We kayaked and paddle boarded right outside the unit daily. Thank you for a lovely stay!

House was great! Had everything we needed for our stay. Condo was in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to the rest of the Keys. Great to sit on back porch and watch the sunset over the water. Great location!

We thought the pool was was going to be on site. The Cabana Club was 7 miles away. Very over crowded and no chairs available. Cottage was in a great location. Close to many restaurants and activities. We very much enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others. Owners were easy to contact.

Perfect weather and a super accommodating home made for a wonderful week with friends. This unit had a bathroom for each bedroom which made it very nice having your own space to get ready.nice beach towels and beach chairs were available also. The Ninja blender was the bomb! Already told my husband that we will be upgrading our (now substandard) current Ninja! Lol!

This property is just as listed--extremely clean, updated and the location is beyond perfect! Sunset views every night and convenient to all Keys activities. We visited Key West for the day and also enjoyed the water sports that are located across the street. There are two restaurants at Hawks Cay which is in walking distance and open to the public-we enjoyed the meals at both.
Jarod was amazing to work with--communication was great and he was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. It was spotless and had plenty of room for our party of 7. Three bedrooms (one bedroom with two queen beds)and 3 baths made it very easy for everyone to get ready in their own space. We would definitely book this house again if the need arises.

Property was in excellent condition, clean and fully furnished. We received the door code a few days before we arrived. That was all that was involved for check in. Paper work and payments were completed months earlier. The house is in a beautiful location. Ten minute drive to Marathon, thirty minutes to Islamorada and one hour to Key West. We enjoyed the stay and would stay there again

Absolute perfection. Nice beach decor. The three bedrooms were perfect for our trio of friends. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking amenities we needed. Wonderful location right on the water. A little bit of Nat Geo in the backyard watching all of the wildlife. The views of the sunset did not disappoint. Either from the top deck with a comfy couch or down on the bottom porch at the good sized table. Loved our visit. Would definitely come back.

This property is exactly as described. We (4 women above 70) had a lovely time and enjoyed the space! We had an issue that was speedily resolved by the owners and they went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend renting here! Thanks for the lovely trip.

We loved this condo! Being able to kayak and paddleboard right behind the condo was fabulous. We spent two days swimming at Bahia Honda, and on the third day we went to Pigeon Key. Every day when we returned to the condo, we would sit in the shade of the trees by the water and also use our kayaks and SUP. (And watch the iguanas, lol!) Being inside the unit was also great. The kitchen had everything we needed and much more. The “beach living” decorating scheme was so nice! This condo is beautiful! We LOVED being here!

Great Stay
Great space for a small group- we had 4 adults and one little one—we traveled for a wedding we were attending in Marathon and extended our stay to have a day or two to explore and relax. The view is beautiful, it’s easy to find/access, owners made checking in super easy (they sent a key code prior to arrival). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and water pressure was good. We loved having beach towels, beach chairs, and the washer/dryer and dishwasher available. Just one thing to note about the layout in case you’re traveling with other couples/two families— one bedroom is downstairs directly off the kitchen and very small with a full bathroom next to it but not attached. The other two rooms are upstairs, very spacious, and each have balconies and their own bathrooms. It totally works, just a heads up that they definitely aren’t three equally sized/equally private rooms. Water access right off the backyard is rocky but doable if you’re dying to get in the water like we were. Great location for checking out different things in the area and, while we didn’t do it ourselves, we heard lots of good things about the Dolphin Encounter right in Hawk’s Cay. Publix grocery stores are about 15-20 min drive south. We highly recommend Sombrero Beach if you’re looking for a wider/more classic beach experience (approx 15min drive) and the Beach Cafe in Islamorada for dinner/drinks and a beautiful sunset view (25 min drive). Key West was an approx 1.75 hour drive and the Butterfly Conservatory there was very cute but also very popular (crowded). Loved the Green Pineapple shop/cafe/yoga studio on Duval Street in Key West as well. Overall a great stay! Thank you!!

Perfect VRBO
The property completely met our needs for access to good restaurants ( except the one on property) , diving, shopping . The swimming pool is about 10 minutes away and had lots of noisy kids running around so we left. The decks provided more serenity.
Beds very comfortable, decor very tropical, kitchen provided everything we needed. We had pizza delivered but otherwise ate out.
For 6 people this was the perfect place to stay.
