Good location.

We were there for a posh wedding at Carbis Bay Hotel. Our room was too small (room 7) and there was nowhere to get changed, do hair or apply makeup. The toilet was loose. The shower went from boiling hot to freezing cold. There was a kettle and tea bags but no cups or spoons. All Hallmarks of an organisation who are more interested in your money than providing a good service. My brother paid only 25% more than us for a far superior room at Tregenna Castle.

Very clean well maintained

The room was clean and comfortable ， the kitchen also is very neat with all the necessary equipments to help with the short stay.

The balcony , I took the room because of the balcony however the balcony was left very dirty with birds waste and also water on the floor and chair without cleaning it, otherwise everything is okay.

Shower power was weak

It was near the town centre and very accessible to almost everything. I also love the concept that we checked-in and out by ourselves.

If ever a problem needs to be dealt with, it would be sort of difficult since literally no one is there for you to personally approach except those other people who are also staying.

Location was reasonable

TV wasn’t working, which was important I Longhi of the poor weather during our stay. We raised it with the owner several times but we never received a personal reply for the duration of our stay. The carpet was heavily stained and dirty. .The dehumidifier in our room was labelled as having to stay on but was noisy through the night. Overall, disappointed.

Pillows

Easy access to the main town and seafront, yet far enough to be quiet, calm and secluded. The room was kept meticulously clean, warm and comfortable presenting good value for money. By no means high-end, but an extremely well maintained establishment left wanting for nothing.

The view, however I understand some have a sea view and naturally carry a higher premium. The instant coffee wasn’t to my taste, but all was forgiven for having PG Tips as a fallback. It was a lovely place to stay regardless and I would return / recommend.

Amazing view from Room 5! Very close to the center/ harbour. The online check in and out was easy and the communication worked well.

Great value for money, excellent location 2 mins walk down in to St Ives town. The room had everything needed, was clean and comfortable. The key code access worked fine for us and had no reason to contact the owners.

Nothing of note

It’s very close to St Ives train station and one minute into the shopping centre. The view from the sea view room no five is very good. The room contains a huge main window with comfortable chairs to sit and look over St Ives harbour and the sea, very impressive view.

Wonderful view from the front bay window of St Ives Harbour and out to sea. Easy to access from the centre of town and from the station, and is also near the bus station (which I used to get over to and back from Penzance). I didn't use it, but there is a shared kitchen with fridge etc.

Inevitably, given that it is St Ives, there are several steps up to Park Avenue, which was fine for me but would not suit anyone with limited mobility.

Heating in the room didn't work the first night, although I managed. After notifying staff they were around in the morning with a backup and the room was nice and toasty again so I was happy

Had to move our initial dates due to both of us getting the flu. But this was easily done, with no problems. Once we DID arrive, we were quite happy with the accommodation. Ground floor room, with great view over the harbour and ocean. Large bay window giving a wide panoramic of the town and coast. Relatively easy walking access to town centre harbour etc. But bear in mind St Ives is build into a steep cove, and those with mobility issues may struggle. Room was clean, and fairly spacious. Couple of chairs in the bay window to sit and enjoy the view, but did miss not having a desk. The shared kitchen has plenty of space with a large table though. Loads of extra coffee/tea/sugar/milk(UHT), in the kitchen, to supplement the provided essentials in the room. Parking was pretty easy, with a paid car park 100 yards away. Technically it's 20 yards away, but you have to walk all the way down the street and then back up the pathway to the house, as the hotel on the end of the terrace has taken away access from that end of the street. Parking was fairly cheap, and the app seems to cover most of the paid parking in town. just put the location into the app and pay. Easy. It does notify you when you're getting short on time, with an option to extend parking time. We had no trouble finding parking, either at the car park next to the accommodation, or in town (eg behind The Sloop), but it was in January. I've been to St Ives in August, and it's totally different!

Shower had very little pressure, despite being an electric one. Two of the window blinds had missing pull cords to raise the blinds. Internet speed was disappointing. 4mb at best.
