Beautiful green oasis

Nice, clean, spacious place to sleep. Staff was super friendly and kind. breakfast was also tasty and coffee was nice. Reccomended!!

Excellent séjour au calme

Très bon mais court séjour. Chambre spacieuse très bien équipée avec beaucoup de rangement, clim, salon de jardin. Salle de bain en pierre très jolie. Lieu très calme et jardin magnifique. Personnel très sympa accueillant et pdj très bien. J’espère pouvoir revenir dans cet établissement pour un plus long séjour.

Pas d’eau chaude, un peu ennuyant en ce mois de février pluvieux. On peut s’en passer mais à savoir :)

Lovely guesthouse in a peaceful setting

Lovely big rooms, very comfortable bed. The area is very peaceful with good restaurants. The breakfast was great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I ended up extending stay and would happily have extended it again.

peaceful, welcoming and home feeling in a nice little village

during my stay it was very quiet and peaceful. the garden was very beautiful and so well maintained. i loved the view above the flowers, trees and fields. i heard different, nice sounding birds in different times of the day, i loved it. the staff is extremely polite and almost invisible, very friendly and always there for you. they are not 24/7 around, but if you communicate with them, they make everything possible. the house is open under the roof and the bathroom is very open, but safe. i like the idea of an open bathroom. the bed was not too stiff, not too soft, just right for me and seemed new. everything i saw was clean. up the road or down the road (5minutes walking each) you can enjoy streetlife and shop a lot of things or sit in a warung or a bar.

the benches made out of wood were without pillows or any other softness so it was a little hard to sit there for longer.

Empfehlenswerte, ruhige und schöne Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft befindet sich relativ zentral in Sidemen. Über eine lange schmale Einfahrt erreicht man den Eingang in der hinteren linken Ecke. Die Bungalows bieten einem viel Platz, die Betten sind sehr gemütlich (ein Moskitonetz ist vorhanden), das Bad wurde interessant gestaltet. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, eignet sich dadurch wunderbar um mal etwas runterzukommen. Auf der Terrasse befindet sich eine Bank mit einem Tisch und eine Ablage um die gewaschene Wäsche aufzuhängen. Fußläufig sind viele gute / günstige Restaurants zu erreichen. Das Frühstück schmeckt sehr gut - man bekommt einen Obstteller und kann dann noch zwischen verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen.

Das Verriegelung meiner Tür war nur mit großem Aufwand möglich, es schien als seien diese nicht richtig arretiert.

Tolle Unterkuft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in Natur un Reisfeldern

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit schöner und privater Lage in einem tollen Garten, Blick auf kleinen Bach und Reisfelder. Sehr cooles Bad und alles super sauber! Die Owner waren auch total nett und bemüht!

Super Unterkunft neben dem Zentrum von Sideman, gleich neben den Reisfeldern

Eine Top-Unterkunft im Bungalowstil. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Mopedstellplatz. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hatte ein "offenes" Bad mit Blick zum Himmel.

Fantastisch! Alles was schoon en netjes en de familie is erg lief!

Erg vriendelijke familie. Vader Komang en zoon Kadek helpen je met alles. We hebben veel van ze geleerd over de Balinese cultuur en hun geloof.

Het regende erg veel. Rumah Sidemen ligt op 300m hoogte tussen de bergen.

Fantastic stay at beautiful, newly built home stay!

The property was built and now served by a local family. They’ve put so much love and care into the property, it’s fantastic to see. The service is great, the views are amazing and the rooms impeccable! If you want to have a positive impact on the local economy and village, stay here!

AMAZING!

AMAZING rooms and great view! you really fell like you are staying in the middle of the jungle. Everything was very clean and felt luxurious. Some people complain about the shower, but we found it to be quite okay actually.

Some of the staff hardly speak English, but this did not hamper our stay at all

Beautiful setting, helpful staff and amazing extra service being brought to the airport too.

Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and prepared with care. Overall care was amazing and staff was very helpful. The rooms were tidy and beautiful, loved the shower, could be potentially a bit slippery when whet.

To be able to stay longer, unfortunately we had a flight to catch!!

Loved our stay here

We loved our short stay in this family run hotel with its calm atmosphere, and lovely garden. Komang, Kadek, and family were so kind to us! The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We had two rooms, and actually the semi-open room gave far better ventilation and cooling then than the airconditioned room. There is 24 hour free access to the kitchen to refill mineral water. There are several small restaurants within short walking distance. If you're into it, try out a short silver workshop next door.

Peacefull, beautiful and welcoming stay! Must visit.

The host Comang and his family are super lovely. The view from the room was amazing, beautiful nature. The places to eat are 3 minutes away by scooter. Breakfast was included. This was the most beautiful place we stayed on our 4 week trip!! We booked the room with airco and slept super well.

The app Grab for taxi’s and scooters doesnt work in Sidemen but Rumah had scooters for rent and the host Comang was nice enough to bring us to Padang Bai to take the fastboat to Gili Trawangan. He also helped us with the best tickets for the fastboat Ekajaya. His story about Rumah and his kindness was so special to us.

Everything! Owners of Rumah Sideman are amazing! Small bungalows so nice, clean. The garden so beautiful and the view from it nice! The owner isso kind men. My boy got sick and he took us to doctor and took care of us. In Sideman Rumah Sideman is in great location.

Exceptional

The room exceeded my expectations. Despite arriving quite late in the evening, we received a very warm welcome from ur host. The bungalow we had booked was in the middle of a beautiful garden, where we had a view on the beautiful landscapes of Sidemen. The area was really calm, and we could also enjoy walking in the surroundings of our place. The breakfast was included and really good too.

I don't think there is any part I would consider negative to my experience of this booking.

Best stay we had in three weeks in Bali. Absolutely phenomenal. Everything was perfect.

This was the best place we have stayed in all of Bali. Beautiful garden view. Really good rooms with good AC and a gorgeous bathroom. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Super clean. I wish all stays could be as good as this one. Superb value for money.

really nice and cozy Bungalow with lovely view on the farmland. BEST banana pankake eaten so far!

the rooftop has open access, so you will sleep with Geko’s watching at you, but there is a mosquito net :D

Superb

We liked the location of Rumah Sideman, quiet and peaceful with an attractive garden overlooking farming fields. Our occomodation was recently built and comfortable. Our hosts, a family, made us feel very welcome and were helpful providing information about the local area, laundry needs, transport requirements etc. We would stay at this property when visiting Sidemen next time.

More visible signage for passing traffic to locate this property would be helpful as it is 150 meters back from the street along a narrow path.

A nice, quiet stay perfect for getting away from the busy world and for taking in beautiful scenery.

The grounds were absolutely stunning, and the mosquito net was a good touch. The staff was very friendly and accommodating even with the local celebrations going on. They even gave us recommendations for our next city. The property is very well looked after.

Unfortunately when it rains, natural debris gets into the bathroom, so you have to walk around it.

Good accommodation for affordable price

Simple but very clean and for a short stay entirely sufficent. The staff is very kind.

You won’t sleep that long, because some roosters starting early.

A hidden little gem 💎

A Place I’ll Forever Return To.

Everything was amazing. Komang, his father and aunt made my stay worthwhile. I felt like part of the family. The cottage was big and airy. The town of Sidemen is just the perfect place to unwind and do little to nothing. I will definitely be back!

Perfect peaceful paradise!

This place is definitely one of our favourites in Bali! The location is stunning, the room is spacious and clean, the outdoor bathroom is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. We can't wait to come back again!

It was by far the most beautiful Bungalow we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Bali. We really liked the interior design, the beautiful garden and the outdoor shower. Sidemen is beautiful too and we could rent a scooter from the owners. The owners are really friendly and helpful! Breakfast was really good as well.
