Perfect place to visit Cape Town; very safe, lovely breakfast & clean rooms!

Great safe location, lovely breakfast and great staff serving every morning!

The shower was a little old but that was a minor detail.

Clean property, clean room and bathroom; friendly staff. Breakfast was really cute and tasty

Everything! So cute, vintage vibes yet so modern.

We were warned about the construction next door, so that’s fine - but it still wasn’t nice to be woken up before 7am on a Saturday.

Staff was helpfull in everything we needed, amazing people. Also very good breakfast. Comfy beds

The room was a little bit small so when the energy was down (due to a lack of energy in the whole city) it was hot

Hervorragende Unterkunft in Seapoint als Startpunkt in Kapstadt

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Betten sind super bequem und das Frühstück hervorragend. Auch die Lage ist sehr praktisch und sicher. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben

Nur das Bad hätte etwas größer sein können, aber ansonsten war alles perfekt

Een heerlijke guest house op een toplocatie. Zack heeft ons waardevolle tips gegeven waardoor we ons snel op ons gemak voelden. Fijne ruime kamer en smakelijk ontbijt.

Great location, great host and great value for money!

Zack is a wonderful and friendly host. The house has a laid-back feel which makes you instantly feel comfortable and at home. The rooms are spacious and the guest house is very well located in central Sea Point.

We enjoyed our stay and there is nothing we did not like. We can highly recommend Sweet Orange guest house to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Rooms are spacious, have black out curtains & a comfortable king sized bed. House has a wonderful backyard that will make for great poolside vibes in the summer. Will definitely be back

We had a great stay at Cape Town.

Great guesthouse, with very friendly hosts.

The wake-up was bit rough every morning due to the construction activities. Fortunately they only start at 8am. Good reason to get up early ;)

What a wonderful place to stay when visiting Cape Town. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was lovely and very nicely presented....music included. Highly recommended for sure. Thank you to the kind hosts and staff.

It’s so wonderfully styled and located. Although we were there while there was some construction happening next to the building, it did not affect the warm welcome we received and the most comfortable stay possible. Highly recommend !

Amazing and very helpful staff. They definitely go the extra mile for their guests. The room is beautiful, the food is great. There is construction going on next door which the staff apologizes for even though it isn't at all their fault. The noise really isn't a big inconvenience. It didn't start before 8 am and we were out visiting all day and weren't bothered at all by the noise. The hotel even gives free ear plugs but we didn't even need them. There's no noise during the night. The door is even sound proof. The hotel isn't on the main road so we aren't bothered by noise but it's close. Great location for restaurants.

A home away from home

What a wonderful experience. Zack and his team of wonderful, kind, and friendly ladies made this guest house feel like my home for 4 days. They bent over backward to make my stay a very memorable one. Breakfast every morning was a feast with some great options. The Turkish eggs were so delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable, not too hard, not too soft, just perfect to slip away into a wonderful deep sleep. The location is perfect, walking distance to many great restaurants and of course the sea front. The internet speed was fast, and I never had any issues. I worked 8 hours a day and never experienced any issues.

Our stay at the Sweet Orange was super sweet! We’ll be back again!

Really cosy and warm atmosphere, well themed throughout. Small thoughtful touches like the double doors, makeup towel, activities board and earplugs made our stay memorable. Delicious breakfast!

Couldn’t have our evening tea, well provisioned for coffee drinkers. The complimentary water in the room may not have been refreshed prior to our stay.

We had a really great stay. The staff was great and super friendly, the breakfast was extraordinary and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The interior of the rooms is really well done and somebody payed attention to details. We loved it here and would def come back :-)

I liked everything about this place. The stuff was so friendly and the room was so clean and beautiful. Ooohhh the breakfast was bomb!!!!it tasted so good. The location is also great you can walk to the beach.

Lovely stay at a gorgeous hotel with incredible staff.

Gorgeous hotel in Seepoint with the most incredible staff. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me despite being early for breakfast on both days due to morning meetings. The ambience at breakfast with a fire for a cold winter morning and a very well picked playlist of music made breakfast my favourite meal during my visit to Cape Town. The room was lovely and beautifully decorated.

Incredible attention to detail and the highest level of comfort, with exceptional value for money

Sweet Orange Guesthouse is arguably the best value for money in the city. The staff was prompt, friendly and went above and beyond for our comfort. They accommodated some of our needs regarding a slightly later check out. The attention to detail is phenomenal- everything for your comfort has been considered: from snack options, drink options in the room, earplugs for some construction next door, make-up remover cloths- the full shabang. The breakfast was sensational- a variety of continental options and a cooked breakfast. We had an incredible stay and would recommend Sweet Orange to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Cape Town.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful guest house.

The rooms were beautiful and the shared common spaces were also lovely - there's a stunning kitchen area and great outside garden area with sofas and a pool (sadly unused as the weather wasn't great!). The staff were all so incredibly friendly and the inclusive breakfast was really great - classic continental selection of fruits, cereals etc and your choice of eggs and toast! The location is great - very close to the main roads and walking distance to some supermarkets. The rooms were very spacious, huge comfy beds with a small minibar available for cold drinks. We had been warned prior to check in that there was some construction taking place nearby but we didn't notice any noise at all while we were there. If we ever need to stay in the area again I'll definitely be checking availability at this guest house first.
