Just what we were looking for. It was 4 adults and 2 kids both teens and our dog. Lots of board games, sweet wood burning stove, kitchen was well appointed. Bunk beds in loft were good too. Realty office was easy to get to and check in. Only minor suggestion is to get a digital lock for easier check in and out. We enjoyed!

We really enjoyed our stay, just the two of us and our lab & shepherd. Great location with brook running thru back yard that the dogs loved and we enjoyed listen too the running water. They thought of everything to make the stay complete, located less than 15 minutes from North Conway.
The driveway may be difficult in the ice and snow due to its steepness but there are spots to park up top, we had to bring our own sheets, pillows and remove our own trash when leaving. Washing machine takes 4 quarters so bring change also you will need to supply your own firewood for the fireplace.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, had plenty of useful kitchen items, allowed us to bring our dog, and had tons of dvd's and board games for the kids. Our only complaint was that the wireless internet connection was poor. We had to reset the modem several times. Being this far off the beaten path and having no cell service, it is essential that the wifi is usable and consistent. This would be the only reason for not renting this property in the future.

The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We throughly enjoyed floating in the pond- what could be better or more relaxing!

Me and my husband and another couple joined us on our vacation along with our dog. We have a 2 year old Mastiff and he had the best time down at the brook. It's so nice to hear the water every morning in such a peaceful setting.
We loved the house. It was clean and full of all of the amenities you could ever want. It is located close to everything! I highly recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be able to come back again next year. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. It's so hard to find a place that will accept pets too. :)

Had a relaxing week at Pea Porridge Pond. The house was very clean and comfortable. A few complaints about bunk beds not being comfortable. Plenty of room for my family. The pond is right around the corner, which is great! The house had everything we needed to cook. Another nice vacation at Eidelweiss Village.

We have regularly returned to this area for ski season due to proximity to a wide range of skiing venues. Location also benefits from all the opportunities for recreation, shopping and dining in the greater Conway area. The management company was very responsive and accommodating when we had requests and all contacts were professional and personable. All expectations were exceeded.

We stayed over the new year, home was comfortable and plenty of space. We frequent the area and this home is inline with most homes we rent in regards to location, comfort and price. The only issue we experienced is the driveway is sloped downward and with the freezing rain and temperatures the driveway froze over and even though we have a four wheeled drive vehicle and used to winters in New England, we had to call AAA to pull us up the driveway. Having a bucket of sand or someone sand the driveway would have been nice. All in all it was a great stay over the New Years, there is parking up top which we used the rest of the week and maneuvered walking the driveway.

This was a vacation for all so no major cooking was attempted - instead we enjoyed dining out each evening. Kitchen supplies were fine for simple breakfasts and lunches. We were very happy to find a dog-friendly rental within walking distance of the beach! We rented our own kayaks - Courtney was very helpful in making a recommendation on how to do that! We would have loved it if the house stocked some beach chairs.

I have been renting properties in the White Mountain area for years. It had the bare necessities and overall we had a great vacation for the week we were there. The area has so much to offer. That being said, this property is clearly a rental and was in need of MUCH maintenance. Was not worth the cost.

That was a great week vacation. The rental is conveniently located one block away from a public beach of the lake. There is a manor available at the rental that we used quite a bit. However it was quite heavy to carry to the lake. I wish the owners provided also a wheel system to carry it to the lake. My 2 sons and I were very comfortable space wise. There is a nice BBQ that works very well. The rental is surrounded with trees which help cool down the house a little. There is no AC, but the Fans do mostly the job. The view is limited to the wood surrounding the house. Very convenient washer and dryer in the basement! We brought our little dog as the place is dog friendly, that was a big plus. The rental is also equipped with a DVD player and an amazing collection of DVDs that we used every night. That was fun!

First of all, I want to say that the problems listed in the previous review have all been rectified. The house was very clean, there were no insects, there was a brand new grill on the deck for our use, and there were 3 new fans in the house. The walls were in good condition, with one small area of spackling in the dining area, which was hardly noticeable unless you looked for it.

This spot is secluded yet close to everything. The house is clean,well kept and working with Select Realty was beyond easy. It is pet friendly and our dog loved sitting on the beach porch. We were close to the sight and are looking forward to returning to this spot next year.

The positives of the unit were its close proximity to the pond and town. Also, the main areas were clean. This was the most disappointing house I've rented in the past 10 years. Upon arriving, the exterior of the house was unkept and the internet and TV were down. I placed a call with the rental agency and have still not received a return call (over 24 hours at this point). There was only 1 extra plug-in fan at the house, which barely worked. This is unacceptable for a house with no A/C, as there is no way to get air flowing through the house even with all of the windows open. I had two small children with us and one had to sleep in the loft bedroom, which was excessively hot with no properly working fan. The gas grill is completely rusted on the inside and not able to properly cook on. Many of the windows have either holes in or around the screens, allowing for bugs to enter. We thoroughly enjoyed Out stay in this well appointed house. The house sits on a ledge overlooking a brook that was lovely to hear at all hours of the day. The rental was great, with little touches like trash bags and paper goods, washer and dryer, and provided soaps. While the house might not be suited to the littlest families due to the high balcony overlooking the brook, we felt relatively safe with our school aged children. We picked wild blueberries right outside the door, and enjoyed the beach only steps away! Would definitely stay again.

Spent a week in brooks edge with family this summer, age range 7-86. Everyone enjoyed the home, loved being close enough to walk to the pond and can sit on the deck and listen to the babbling brook. Location is great for day trips to North Conway, story land or kangamangus hwy hikes.

This home was in a perfect location - a 2 minute walk to the beach while completely surrounded by nature. We loved sitting on the deck with the brook rushing by. The home was well furnished and met our needs perfectly. It's about 15 minutes to Conway for shopping and dining. The scenic drives over the Kancamagus and West Side Rd are worth it alone, not to mention the sites visited on arrival. This time we enjoyed Lost River in Woodstock and Attitash in Bartlett. The homeowners were kind enough to allow our dog to come along - it was a great spot!

Excellent Home! Very convenient!
I booked this house for a ski weekend and was very pleased as it was very comfortable and convenient to the ski mountains! There were 6 of us and each had a bed with plenty of space. The property was very clean and well maintained. The grill and full kitchen made it very easy to enjoy dinner after a fun day at the slopes. In addition, the wood burning stove was great at night.
I would highly recommend this property to a friend and will certainly be back in the summer as I saw this place was in walking distance to a lake for swimming.

Awesome Place!
Just got back from a Guys ski trip. This place was perfect! Can't say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be coming back, either with the guys again or with my wife and kids. Looks like a great place to stay durning the summer months as well!

Great House in a great location
This place was perfect for our group. We were close to all the good mountains and North Conway. The house is in a quite neighborhood overlooking a babbling brook. This would be nice to wind down after a day on the slopes but we used the grill and had some drinks instead. The place is very roomy and the six of us were very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The Kitchen is set up well with everything you need to cook up a storm. I can't wait to go back to this home away from home.
