Very enjoyable with easy free parking and within easy walking distance of the centre.

All the staff were friendly and the hotel was exceptionally clean. Very good breakfast served in the cafeteria. Bus stop outside the hotel made for easy access to the port and historical area.

We understood from Booking.com that we were to have an upgrade to superior twin room but this didn´t happen. The room layout although very modern, for us , would have benefitted from more shelving especially in the bathroom.

The room was lovely clean and spacious. Overlook car park perfect for seeing my car.

Short stay in Cartagena

Rooms were basic, but very clean. Staff very helpful and nice. Restaurant / bar open for most of the day and good value. Wifi very good. Aircon/heating good. Parking OK.

just ok, was convenient for Cartagena circuit but wouldn’t stay again

room was clean & good size

outside was always covered in rubbish and looked scruffy, people were outside late every night and you could hear them talking, need thicker blanket on bed and a kettle in the room

Pleasant hotel in good location for sightseeing Cartagena. iIdeal for short stays. I felt comfortable alone. very helpfu

good location. clean modern room. Breakfast and food available. Free car parking. Helpful staff.

Dogs left in neighbouring room barked non stop for 3 hours. Dogs should not be left in a room alone.

I'm a cheap skate!

Clean and cheap. I should have booked a bigger room. We drove there from Granada. It was easy to find and easy to park at the property for free. If you're on a strict budget and just want somewhere to shower (modern small bathroom) and sleep then the a Manolo would be fine. Good quiet air-conditioned. The staff were wonderful and helpful with maps and things we should see. We loved Cartagena.

I should have spent more money. My wife said I'm a cheap skate. No fridge. We were woken up by noise from kids and one night from very loud love making noises next door. We had a good laugh.

Very good

The room was big and clean and it was not so far with the car to the center of cartagena. We had the junior svit.

The bed could have be a little bit more soft and the air-conditioning was not the best

Javier's face is like a lemon

The chair that was next to the table. It was amazing for certain sexual positions

Comfortable stay.

Clean, modern room and bathroom. Bus stop almost at the hotels door.

The view was so so- gasolina and old buildings.

nice place but would need a car if wanting to explore city and beaches

large room, helpful staff, free parking out front.

water tasted very chlorinated (not sure if this is just the town vs the hotel), several km from main tourist spots/beach so ended up driving most of the time.

Not much actually except from a big clean room.

The Juniour suite with a street view we had booked was with a view to car park and a lot of overfull rubbish containers. The hood seemed 'rough'. There was a venue going on when we stayed there and noise and kids screaming from function rooms travel undisturbed up to first floor. There was only one small pillow per person, no extra in cupboard as is normal. The WiFi was not stable, signal went constantly down. The worst was the very hard bed. We paid € 100 a night excl. breakfast.

Okish, if I knew I couldn’t stay in the nice room i booked I wouldn’t have stayed there.

The friendly and helpful staff and the size of the room.

Unfortunately I was told that the room i booked which was one of the lovely new refurbished rooms, wasn’t pet friendly and instead I was given a twin room with two single beds and the room smelled of smoke. Also there was a large bug in the shower which hid behind the handle. Not sure if it was a cockroach

Clean hotel for a good price that has a parking and accepts animals

Clean big tidy hotel. Most important for us it was a parking place for camper and that hotel accept animals. The location seamed to be a bit dirty outside, but the hotel was extremely clean and fit out expectations. From hotel you can get to the center on foot or by bus, which stops in front of the hotel. Lady in reception was extremely helpful.

Comfort, not luxury

We liked the room which had been renovated, it was fresh, professional, a bit clinical but functional. At first glance it was very impressive. Price very reasonable. Impressive reading lights! TV pretty good. Shower, good power.

View from the room was towards an rather ugly and dilapidated row of residential apartments. The beds were very light and provided with wheels so very unstable, couldn't sit and read without slipping into a hole. The fridge worked but fits very little, a carton of milk and the door couldn't close. It was very noisy at night. Very. We had some food at the restaurant, and just got the worst indigestion ever. While central, the hotel was in a run down area, mostly consisting of garages and chicken shops. Flat pillows. No

Chill out week in Hotel Manolo

So the options are ‘Good’ and ‘Excellent’ I chose ‘Good’, but in fact it was Very Good. The hotel is on a bus route, but I’ve not been on a bus yet. 20 minute walk to El Corte Inglés and another 20 minutes to the edge of town. Staff were very nice. Helpful and unassuming. They allowed me to store my bike in a room. I loved the food. Rustic, homemade and reminded me of the Camino De Santiago. Menú del día was excellent value.

I have no negative observations.

We have used this hotel for many years when attending the local dog show i the hotel has now been refurbished to a very high standard and is excellent value for money
