A Maquia is very lovely place near to small beach with calm water. The pool area was great. The surrounding garden was very well maintained. Overall, it's very nice place to stay.

Very nice and calm boutique hotel with the big garden and the pool. the staff is very friendly and makes the guests warmly welcome. Short walk to the Beach and bars&restaurants.

This place is like being a guest at a friend's villa. Short walk through the garden gate and barefoot down the dirt path to some beautiful secluded beaches. Staff is top! Rosi was amazing - finding us lunch and dinner reservations during one of the busiest weekends of the year.

This place is a hidden treasure. The location is just a pathway to the not crowded beach some 5 minutes away The sizeable modern swimming pool is set in their well cared-for garden with vines and flowers extending in all to a couple football pitches .with some tucked away table and chairs. It’s all just a perfect environment for a chilled stay. The staff are all normal local people warm and welcoming They only have a dozen or so rooms so personal service is a given The rooms are modern, en suite and spotless The only negative is that they don’t offer meals other than breakfast as we would happily have dined there however there are several restaurants within walking distance and they do serve beverages all day. Try to keep this a secret!

We loved everything! We had the most wonderful stay. The venue was perfect, the breakfast was amazing (they even gave gluten free cakes!!) and the staff were so nice and helpful. The accommodation was so clean and the location near the sea was great. We highly recommend staying here. The nearby town was beautiful- the food was delicious and the people were lovely. Thanks for having us! Ps. we got a peak at the main suite and we also agree that the view is incredible but if you want privacy and feel like you have your own venue we highly recommend the junior suite- a fab jacuzzi, big space and a delicious breakfast delivered- it was heaven!

The only issue we had was that we couldn't use the bus route as google couldn't help us work out the bus system but you are really near a small town- €8-12 in a taxi so it was fine. It's only 5/10 minutes away. We also got a taxi into Pontavedra for €12! Very reasonable!
