LOOK NO FURTHER! Baan Souy is BY FAR the best resort of the many I’ve stayed in Thailand over the years. In fact it’s so good it raised my opinion of the entire area of Jomtien. Everything is in it’s place, carefully maintained and to a very high standard. Details, function, setting and amenities. It has it all. On top of this and no small part are the excellent staff. Considerate, professional, conscientious and impeccable manners.

What is not to like? Right up to the minutes before I left I was telling the owners I didn’t want to leave. Both times I’ve visited I extended my stay there!

unexpected gem of a place.

Look no further. As a native Scot you can be sure my eye is both critical and extremely concerned about cost:value. This resort is a hidden gem, compact and beautifully hidden in plain sight. I was genuinely surprised by the cordial and helpful staff who were always happy to help and really make an effort. I was in multiple cities earlier this year for work and ended up extending my stay here and regretting having to leave. Seriously the best place I've ever stayed in Thailand. the value for money and the attention to detail means it punches well above it's weight. I've rebooked for 2 weeks in June, another work trip and I look forward to it once more !

I can't fault it really, there are multiple laundrettes within walking distance, maybe a wash room for clothing?

Breakfast superior. BOOKING.COM 2 STAR RATING IS COMPLETELY Wrong. 3.5 to 4 stars. Hugh fully fenovated rooms with kitchens. Crystal clear pool. Huge bathrooms.

Smashing place to stay! Very well looked after establishment, you can really tell that the proprietors of this hotel care about their customers experience. Beautiful pool, lovely rooms and alfresco areas. The hotel really is an oasis away from the hubbub of down town. Many options for eating close by and the transport links at the end of the road are great. Thanks for a great stay.

wonderful place for yourself with or without friends. adults only means no kids in the pool.

the staff are friendly and courteous. the rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool was gorgeous.

Fantastic room, great swimming pool.

Great hotel.. staff are very attentive.. spotlessly clean with a fantastic pool area and a big room. Nice breakfast.

If I had to be picky, I would say the restaurant is a little small at breakfast time.

A welcome respite

A little oasis in a frenetic city. The hotel is spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. Should rename it Baan Souy Tranquil Resort. 😀

Great location and nice rooms, garden and pool

The hotel has rooms surrounding the pool and lovely garden with trees and shrubs and birds singing. It is really attractive. The rooms are plenty big enough, with lots of drawers and a computer sized safe. There is a big bathroom with huge walk-in shower and 3 different shower heads. There was plenty for breakfast with a choice of 5 set menus. You could eat in the dining room, but it was much nicer sitting outside your room in the garden and having breakfast brought to you. Drinks and lunch was also available up until 4pm, but you have to eat out in the evening. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk down a small soi off Thappraya Road, so no traffic noise, but it was easy to catch a Baht bus to Jomtien beach each day and into Pattaya to eat each evening. Overall an excellent hotel

Beds and pillows rather hard. Breakfast said no substitution. American was 3 rashers of bacon, a sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast and was more than I could eat, so I would have liked to swop the sausage for a half tomato, or some fruit. As this is a small, owner run hotel, I think they could find a friendly way to make the breakfast more flexible.

Super value-for-money stay in Pattaya

Room is spacious with all necessary equipment. Breakfast is amazing! Staff is super friendly and helpful.
