We are a retired couple traveling by bicycle with our 12-year-old grandson. Our host welcomed us and introduced his charming family, showed us our fresh and clean rooms that opened onto the gardens, and made us feel instantly at home and comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely swim and slept well in the comfortable beds. Breakfast was homemade muffins and jellies, local cheeses, eggs, croissants and bread, juice, coffee, milk—delicious. we loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This was our ideal stay. Original not over manicured building with a lovely host who was extremely helpful in recommending a non-pretentious restaurant that served lovely food. Could not of been more helpful the next morning when serving up a lovely breakfast before we went on our way. Very forgiving for our lack of French.

A wonderful host, a beautiful old town house, a very comfortable bed, delightful breakfast with Strawberries, and a swimming pool! Brilliant place to stay.
We were in the main older house, and not the more modern annex. I would have been helpful for a better located plug for the kettle in our room. Only a very small quibble....

Location on the edge of the town and near the Loire and picnic areas and local boat club was ideal for walking. The lodge we stayed in was modern and comfortable and within a walled and gated gardens was secure and the pool and gardens were delightful with many meditteraen plants and shrubs. Breakfast was served outside with fresh breads, jams and tasty homemade yogurt. The hosts were helpful and welcoming and had time for a chat if wanted. The area is perfect for walking and cycling with interesting little hamlets to visit.
We saw loads of fish, herons and kingfishers on a daily visit along side the river.
It was a perfect week.

The host is very nice and helpful. We had a standard room for 2 people in the main building. The house is very traditional and charming but also old. So it can be noisy if someone is sensible. Bathroom misses a shower curtain in the tube. Breakfast was lovel prepared in the garden. Very familiar atmosphere.
