That's where you'll be while you're enjoying an unforgettable vacation at Casa de Emdeko unit 232. Swimming, surfing, sunbathing, watching the sunset, whatever your pleasure, you'll find yourself living a dream as you marvel that anyplace on earth can be so perfect. Wonderful ocean view from the lanai! This great island-style vacation rental rests in a lush tropical setting. Your garden and mountain-view suite is appointed island-style. For your quiet evening's entertainment, curl up with one of the books provided or relax in front of our new flat screen TV. Of course free Wi-Fi access for the times you'll need to connect with the outside world & a King bed for comfort. Even though there is central A/C, the owners also have ceiling fans in every room for those of you who prefer the trade winds. They have also hung 2 new shades on the lanai for your comfort. Your kitchen includes everything affording the opportunity to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Optionally, many guests enjoy the many nearby restaurants for their evening meal, or join the many returning guests and owners at the cabana near the B.B.Q. area. There is nothing like having a tropical cocktail and Hawaiian sunset to end your day in paradise! Coin-op shared washer/dryer. *Please note that this complex has frequent temporary water shut offs. There will be no compensation for water shut offs. Minimum night varies seasonally between 4 - 10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets allowed. TA: 045-890-5600-01. Photos on site match the inside, so no surprises. Quiet building. Beautiful grounds and views. It’s an older well maintained complex. We have stayed in this building three times and would do so again.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and kept clean and bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the property from the outdoor grills to the beach chairs. Free and adequate parking was nice. Having a full kitchen was nice to be able to cook a few meals.

The location gives a beautiful view of the ocean and has those lovely, soft breezes blowing throughout. The unit is very well kept, great layout and very comfortable for our party of 4 - parents and 2 adult children. We walked to the beach many days, easy to get to Lahaina if you want more restaurant and/or tourist activity, close to grocery, etc.
The internet is iffy, but the property managers gave it their best effort to fix (didn't really work - still on-and-off all week) - and this was Christmas week.

This cute little condo looks exactly like the photos - right down to the palm tree lamps! The ocean partial view from the lanai is nice, and the roll-down shades help keep the morning sun from heating things up. The entire space is well-appointed (soap, towels, kitchen, etc) and within walking distance to the Ali'i market, Poke Shack and other neighborhood businesses, and there's a handy, well-stocked little store on site. Having our own private 'beach' where we could watch the sunset every day was fantastic. I was always able to park inside the gate, near the unit. Overall, a great, relaxed vibe that was the perfect thing for my chilled-out week in Kona.

Clean and equipped unit, nice landscaping, exterior facilities spotless and appeared to be cleaned twice a day by hard working crew, even the top of the fence around the saltwater pool

Cute condo
Overall, we had a great time and were very comfortable. However, the water pressure in the shower was less than adequate! Could barely rinse the shampoo out!!

Great location, but moldy AC oder was intolerable.
Hearing the waves and gathering with neighbors at sunset with the blowing of Conch shells was wonderful. Kitchen was fully remodeled and furnished nicely. The bathroom was grungy with smelly drawers and ancient liners. Nice, new, towels and sheets. I felt the manager did not solve the TOXIC MOLD environmental problem I reported immediately after arriving. Sprays and filters did not solve the mold problem in the vents. The AC neglect and oder was ignored. Manager refused to move us, or take responsibility for renting a condo with a penetrating MOLD problem in the AC. No compensation was offered. Neighboring units did not have this problem. I would not recommend this unit until AC venting is completely cleaned out.

Our unit was ok but Needs somme TLC. Mainly in the bathroom, dust Accumulated on the Walls. We were out gas for about 30 hours, then no BBQ available. Air conditionning very noisy

Loved the salt water pool on the oceans edge. Really friendly people all around. Loved having the convenient store right out front!! Unit was great! Nice kitchen, adequately appointed.

Great Location in Kona
This was our first time on the Big Island and we could not have been happier with our condo, the complex, and it’s location. The updated kitchen was much appreciated. We had a partial view of the ocean from the lanai and it was nice to hear the waves. What we really liked the most was the sea-water pool and “beach” with lounge chairs and palm trees for shade. We spent most of our afternoons there. We would not hesitate in staying here again.

Perfect Retreat
We enjoyed our stay in Kona so much. This was the perfect property for our needs. Private, quiet, such beautiful grounds. We fell in LOVE with the bed! Super comfortable! The two pool options and being ocean front were exactly what we wanted. We would absolutely book this unit again!

Perfect in every way!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in #232 at Casa da Emdeko. The manager Greg was very approachable and friendly. He gave us some tips about Kona and sightseeing. The residents and their evening sunset ritual was very relaxing and friendly. We didn't need anything, but groceries once we arrived. We did all our cooking in the unit or on the one of the furnished gas grills on the common patio area by the cabana. Our early December trip was at just the right time of year. The weather in Kona was great. Only rained a bit on our last day. This complex is central to everything. We had a rental car so were able to get around just fine. It's a bit of a walk into town. We will definitely return again!

I was in Kona for the Ironman, and found the appartment to be perfect. Near enough to the action, but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again if I came back (though I don’t think I will!). Interior is fairly generic, but I appreciated the dishwasher and didn’t have any issues with anything during my stay.

Decent
Place was clean and decent. Very hard to park. Not enough spaces. Unit advertised washer /dryer. It turned out there was a pay laundry mat on the premises. Everything else was fine. Location was good and beautiful view.

Very Relaxing!
We loved our stay here! Casa de Emdeko is conveniently located and very quiet. Our condo was decorated nicely and well stocked. The property was very well maintained, beautiful grounds and 2 pools. We were close to town so that it was easy to go to dinner or the stores. We were within a 30 minute drive to some spectacular snorkeling beaches, 2 Step was our favorite.

Konacoast vacations provided us with detailed entry instructions. We were a little surprised by the size of the unit (smaller than expected). Some friends had another unit that was much larger in the same condo complex. Overall, condo was great and we will be back and renting from your company. Mahalo

This was our 5th year staying at the Casa and once again it was a great experience. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was lovely. Kona Coast were excellent, they were always there to help.I would suggest to the owners that they provide a couple of proper beach chairs.

This was our first visit to the big island. The condo was very well maintained and had everything we needed. The slider to the lanai was hard to open and close, especially locking it. We managed to lock ourselves out on the lanai. Luckily the a some very friendly and helpful neighbors and all ended well. Just a little embarassed. We would probably stay there again.

We have stayed at Casa De Emdeko before and enjoy this resort because it is small and comfortable, the salt pool is unique and the other pool most relaxing as well, our only complaint was the bed the underlay and mattress protector was most unsuitable for the climate, this should be relayed to the owners plastic protector and foam was hot so we slept on the bed base.

Ideal location for exploring the west side of the island! The unit had a great layout with the seperate BR (King) with the front room and deck area very spacious,relaxing.Great shower and the A/C kept the unit kept just right during the day.The property managemnt co got right on a problem we had with the referg and had it fixed the same day we called . Over all we loved the condo complex,the unit, and the location,can't wait to come back!

My husband (of 21 years) and I have never stayed in a condo for a holiday before - we have always gone to a resort in the past. This was a fantastic experience! The view was amazing, the amenities and grounds were great, it was quiet and romantic and everything we could have wanted. The location was perfect for us - close enough to groceries/stores and restraunts, but far enough away to be peaceful and oh so enjoyable! We would love to stay again and have recommended it to all our friends!

I grew up coming to this complex, and this is honestly the best I have ever seen it. The staff keeps the place clean and orderly. Very well maintained. It's clean, quiet, you're right on the ocean, and it's close to town. You can use your kitchen to cook, grill at the cabana, or take a short trip to great dining. If you like a place that feels more like a condo home than a resort, this is for you.

We were there for the Ironman and for that purpose our stay was perfect. Plenty of room in the garden and enough room in the apartment for two persons, a bike and a bike case. One day we sat in the garden and watched dolphins!!! I do recommend a rental car for shopping, beach visits and sight seeing. If I qualify for Kona again ;) i would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

I originally did not book my stay at Casa de Emdeko but once I arrived at the place I was going to stay I was really disappointed with it. I was desperate in finding a place within the same day of my arrival . I was afraid of paying a lot more than I had originally planned. Lucky I was able to book a place at the Casa de Emdeko the same day and paid just as much for such a better quality!!! If I had to stay at the other place, my vacation would have been ruined. It was a life saver!!

This condo complex has a wonderful location. Nice views from the lanai. The condo has a nice comfortable king bed, central air conditioning (not just in the living area) , plenty of storage and good internet. The furniture and kitchen are a bit dated, but if you don't have to have "the latest and greatest" you will enjoy this condo.
