Nestled in Beaver Cove, this lovely house for $343 per night is a great option for your next break. Beautiful Private Log Home sitting on a bluff overlooking Moosehead Lake in Beaver Cove. This custom-roomy home has gorgeous views of Moosehead Lake and the Mountains! This home is an ideal rental for small families, and couples and furthermore perfect for a romantic getaway. This beautiful custom cedar log home has 3 levels of living space and a large wrap-around deck to relax and enjoy the views of the lake, mountains, and amazing views of the sky with spectacular sunsets and stars that appear so close! As you sit on the deck and relax, listen and watch from above the abundant wildlife that come to visit. Beaver Cove is protected with no discharge of firearms and abuts 400-plus acres of wildlife preserve of Lily Bay State Park! Watch the deer from the deck come up and visit in the tranquil backyard. All this and more with access to a close quiet private association beach. The main floor has a comfortable great room with a floor-to-ceiling massive stone fireplace, ceiling fans, a 52" smart TV, WIFI, an open area connected to the kitchen and eating area. This floor has two large comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom has 1 full-size bed and a twin over full bunk bed and the other bedroom has 2 single beds, both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The bathroom has a modern rustic charm to it with a petrified wood sink and a roomy walk-in stone/tile shower. The loft is on the 2nd floor with a day bed and sitting area facing the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The master bedroom has a 4-post king-size log bed, a private lookout balcony, and a private bathroom with a toilet and sink. The lower level is a bright walkout basement with a sleep sofa, game room, a washer and dryer, and 2 sets of sliders that walk out to the fire pit area and swings. Very Peaceful, relaxing, and private. About 7-mile drive to the town of Greenville. Beaver Cove has a beautiful Association Beach with Picnic tables and, a basketball net, and the waters are protected. Great swim area with a raft. This is truly a spectacular four-season property with so much to do in the Moosehead Lake Region and the beautiful Maine woodlands right outside your door. Beautiful Lily Bay State Park is just minutes away. Although Greenville, Maine is a small town, it offers year-round casual restaurants, a variety of shops, and the convenience of a grocery store. There is even a family-owned pharmacy with an authentic counter-serviced soda fountain. Please Note: 4 Adults Maximum Please provide an accurate head count when you reserve. Extra people not included in the booking will cause a request to depart, and/or a charge of $100 per person per night. This charge will be automatically deducted from your Security Deposit. A driveway security camera is deployed on the exterior to monitor arrival times, departure times, and occupancy. This is a No Smoking or Vaping Property and is strictly adhered to.

It’s difficult to find a better accommodation and better hosts than Bruce and Lisa. The house is in spotless condition and it has all the amenities one can wish for. The kids loved the basement games and we simply loved the sunsets from the porch. Greenville is conveniently located some 10min away and the Moosehead Lake area is well worth a few days of exploring.

This was our second stay at Bruce and Lisa's beautiful home on Moosehead Lake. It was everything we remembered and more. Bruce and Lisa are both wonderful hosts, making sure we're comfortable and have everything we need. The home is beautiful with views that speak for themselves and friendly deer who pop by for a visit. We love staying here and hope to be back again one day!

Outstanding and gorgeous property! So blessed to have spent a week here and so hard to leave. This log home is breathtaking and so accommodating. Loved the outdoor living space with lake view in the distance. Lots of wildlife visitors including deer, chipmunks, woodpeckers and a hummingbird. Enjoyed nearby recreation including tubing, hiking, whitewater rafting and successful moose-sighting tour by canoe. Highly recommend this unprecedented VRBO listing. Thank-you, Bruce and Lisa for sharing it with us.

Huge open house with all the necessities. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, excellent appliances, game basement, nice TV and Wi-Fi. We spent most of our time in the great outdoors, evenings on the deck watching the sunsets, enjoying the deer that stroll through and met some nice neighbors. The en-suite master bath is lacking . But would definitely recommend!!

We were lucky enough to find this cabin for our second trip to the area- and it was incredible. Bruce was nothing but accommodating and welcoming. The view is breathtaking and the home is incredible. We will be repeat guests again!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with terrific view over Moosehead Lake. Great communication with our hosts & although we didn’t need to, we felt like we always had a lifeline to them. It’s so peaceful even the deer will come right to the property with no fear of people, was terrific to watch them below as we relaxed on the deck. Home was comfortable & kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed sitting on the private balcony off the master bedroom in the morning, and then watching the sunset from the kitchen during dinner. Lots to do in Moosehead without the busy crowds of other big lakes in Maine— water sports, moose cruises, and great restaurants. A welcome change of pace from our busy lives, but still enjoy comforts of home.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication with the owners was excellent. Our goal was to get away for some relaxation and to see a moose and that was what we got. The home and surroundings were beautiful and serene. We saw 5 moose on our trip. We absolutely loved everything!! Perfect vacation!!

Great home. Owner was in contact during the entire trip. Everything was clean, neat and just like the pictures. Great features in the home. Wonderful view. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind being in a 70 degree or colder home.
Con: We are from a warmer state and we were not able to keep warm in the house without walking around fully clothed or with blankets on.

Perfect is the one word to sum it all up.. This home is so beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and Amazing. The view is right out of a picture book.
The amenities are so many, convience to Greenville and all this little town has to offer is a plus.
And the owners..from day one where so amazing. Communication was super easy. You can see the pride they have in their home.

The house was really nice, spacious, and inviting. The views of the lake and the mountains from the deck area were beautiful! The owner was easy to communicate with. Great time using the game room in the basement and building a fire at night. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy get away!

My family and I had such a wonderful vacation at Moosehead Lake this year. We enjoyed the lake, beautiful views, moose tour, hiking, and all the amazing activities this area has to offer! The log home was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to be able to relax and enjoy every moment together. Bruce and Lisa were the best hosts we have ever dealt with. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip and family. We hope to be back again!

I don't know if I can actually find the words to describe this vacation, but I'll try. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The cabin is magical and was even more then expected. The area is so peaceful and beautiful... We couldn't have asked for more! Bruce and Lisa were so helpful and friendly, making sure everything was ok and letting us know that they were there for anything we may have needed. We were so fortunate to find this wonderful cabin and beautiful place and I truly believe we have found our new vacation spot for years to come!

Our family had the most wonderful visit to Moosehead and the home we chose to stay at was a big part of it. The game room provided great entertainment on those days when the rain wouldn't quit, the deer stopping by felt magical, and the VIEWS - I cannot say enough about the views. The house had absolutely everything you need and more and you could really sense the love and time Bruce and Lisa have put into making this home a retreat for themselves and the families that stay there. What wonderful hosts. We feel truly lucky to have found such a great spot to stay.

The log home is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The views of the lake from the deck, as well as inside the cabin (especially the sunsets) are breathtaking. The area around the home is a fantastic way to just get away and enjoy the outdoors! Our family enjoyed the week we stayed...enjoying hiking at Lily Bay State Park and Gulf Hages Trail (amazing views of waterfalls), whitewater rafting at Northeast Whitewater (so much fun!) and enjoying the Katahdin cruise of Moosehead Lake. We also got to experience another level of nature, as the families of deer come up to the property to be feed. It is amazing how they were mostly unafraid and interacted with us. Both Bruce and Lisa were great hosts! They were there every step of the way with any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for a vacation to experience nature and outdoor adventures, while also having the comforts of home in a beautiful cozy cabin!

This is a stunning property. It was perfect for our 10 year anniversary trip. We were greeted by beautiful flowers-it is lupine time-- and a card and candy from the previous renters who had heard it was our anniversary. Wonderful kayaking from the private beach and in nearby prong pond and great view from the deck to enjoy the lake and wildlife. If you are looking for a well appointed quiet stay--this is it!

When we arrived the entire house smelled like a fire put out with water or something like that. We found the source to be the wood stove in the basement. Seems it wasn’t properly vented. It had no damper on the outlet to block down draft. We brought it to the property owners attention. We dealt with the smell for the entire week:(. Day three the CO detection went off (wood stove was not operating) and the Fire Department was dispatched because of a direct alarm. The Fire Depart arrive and detected CO within the home. Then a technician arrive and agreed the wood stove was the cause. Then a chimney cleaner came and cleaned the chimney. And if we opened the doors to air out the house smell we’d get a text from the owner to close the door, unbelievable!!!
The cooking stove didn’t work on bake only broil worked and the owner knew it didn’t and never said anything. Here we are with four adults in a COVID era for a week :(
The kitchen is hardly big enough to prepare a meal for four. Has a 3/4 bath and a 1/2 bath. Hot water was less than hot!! The master bedroom is the loft open to the lower level. The other bedrooms have beds for little children. Pictures are deceiving.
The owner accused my wife and I of smoking indoors. We don’t and wouldn’t ever smoke indoors if even given the opportunity. The owner is now attempting to withhold our security deposit. We are disputing withholding our security deposit with VRBO. The smell is clearly the issue caused by the wood stove.

We had a great time at Bruce and Lisa's home at Moosehead Lake with my parents, my husband and our two young girls. We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday, saw more deer than we can count, cooked, played, relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. We'd love to check out the different seasons at Moosehead and look forward to returning. Thank you!

Our family had the best time staying in this beautiful cabin. It was incredibly clean & comfortable. Quiet, peaceful location, but also quick drive to town. Had great communication with the owners, who helped us with anything we needed before & during our stay on anything from the cabin to trail advice. Could drive our UTV right from the cabin to trails where we saw moose! We cannot say enough about our stay - we hope to be back someday soon and would definitely love to rent this cabin again. Thanks to Bruck and Lisa for making our trip so special and memorable!
