Too basic. For the price better stay in a full service hotel.

The room was amazing. It was not only comfortable and well equipped, but also beautiful and modern. It was the apartment with huge terrace and the access to it from each room. Windows went to the inner yard with wonderful view, that’s why it was quiet. All furniture was modern and new. Kitchen equipment is of the highest quality. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, induction stove, electric oven, 2 fridges, iron. Air conditioner worked perfectly and we could control it separately in the bedroom and in the living room. In general everything was very well thought out for the comfort of guests. Wardrobes, tables, sideboards, plenty of furniture to store your stuff. The couch in the living room was rather comfortable as well as the bed, however it was small. As it was our first experience with apartment, we didn’t prepare for such things as absence of soap, shampoo and cleaning, but you can take everything with you and clean apartment yourself of course, it was absolutely not a problem. Wi-fi worked great. Perfect beach is 450 m from the hotel, there are bakeries, small markets, restaurants nearby. A big supermarket is only 3 km from the hotel. We had a great time and definitely come back next year to Residence Chateauneuf!

Bed was a little bit small. There was a nice table on the terrace, which unfortunately was not cleaned after previous guests. It was covered by dog’s hair and it was very unpleasant. There was a problem in the shower , water was leaking outside.

Location is great, the rooms are nice and spacious enough, with a generous kitchen. There is parking available in the garage for 10 eur/day.

The kitchen utensils were not thoroughly washed and some a bit dated. There was no dishwashing liquid, although a sponge was provided.

Very spacious, close to the station but you can’t hear any trains. We had two bathrooms and two balconies - very convenient. Great air con. Close to the beach, however, about 10-15 mins walk to the main town square.

The washing machine had weird smell and some stains on the rubber around the door. We run it once at a high temperature and it was ready to use.

The location was excellent. A 2 minute walk to the train station and well placed for access to everything Menton has to offer. The air-con worked well and was essential given the heat and humidity. The apartment was large and very clean.

The pictures on the website are very misleading. They show sea and mountain views. They show the apartments as warm and welcoming with flowers, pictures on the wall, books, ornaments, etc. There are no sea or mountain views. The apartments are not furnished as shown. Most of the pictures are of a common lounge area accessible only when the prooerty managers office is open. Even when it is you won't use it. During our stay, we found an answer in the FAQs saying there are no sea views. The apartment was large and reasonably comfortable but devoid of any home comforts. It was a large soul-less box. There are no welcoming touches like tea/coffee/milk/sugar. No condiments. There are good local supermarkets with everything needed, but it would be nice to have at least some basics.

- the internet connection is really bad. - the room was not clean, I had to clean the toilet myself. I asked at the reception to clean it and the cleaning lady jumped to say that she has done the cleaning (something unnecessary if she would be actually cleaning well). Then she took 4 hours to come to clean it. So I decided to do it myself. - there was hair of others in every corner of the room. - no one was there for the check out and no instructions were provided on how to check out. I waited there for about 15 minutes, called them, but still 24h after no one answered to confirm. I left the keys in the post box of the room. - the room has a strong sewage smell, the bathroom and the shower do not have ventilation, so the humidity and smells stay

+ Location is very good, close to the station if you want to go to the cities arround. + the room is spacious. + mattress was comfy and it has double window, so it is quiet.

It is a very convenient place for traveller, in the middle of everything - railway station, bus station, shops, cafes, sea, walkways, historical center.
