The location was excellent and the room itself was nice.

It was a little odd: I think the managers live in the other part of the house and it seemed a little disjointed as in communication was disjointed - I didn't actually realise that the common area with a bar fridge was a common area as it seemed to be part of the private part. The gentleman was unable to issue me a tax invoice when I paid for my booking as his invoice book had run out so I had to follow up this by email after my stay so I could claim it for work purposes. He did email it through to me which resolved my issue, but it wasn't that great. Cleanliness was average and communal areas had dog hair on furniture and smelt a little of smoke.

Gorgeous old house, with furnishings to match. Comfortable room & bed with own bathroom. Excellent location just across from the beautiful Botanical Gardens & lots of coffee shops around the area.

We were disappointed that we booked it as a B&B because they do not provide breakfast. It was just accommodation which was not how it was advertised in booking.com

The house has the old charm and character synonymous with Toowoomba. The location is fabulous close to parks and the city centre. The room was cosy and the ensuite bathroom and separate kitchen and dining were great to have. Daniel our host was courteous.

We thought the curtains and carpet in the bedroom would benefit from a clean/refresh.

No breakfast but thats ok. Happy to go out for breakfast

Loved the location! Very easy walking distance to most tourist destinations, perfect for the Empire Theatre. Prompt service. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Very pleasant stay. Will happily stay again soon.

amenities outdated. not the cleanest very dusty - not eclectic, just old.there was a funny smell coming from the kitchenette from an old chux- almost made me sick. could be lovely as it’s in a great spot. just disappointing. Needs a good clean and a revamp. No breakfast either if that’s what you were expecting.
