Not surprisingly, since this is in France in a prime destination, the room was small, but it made up for it in comfort, plus it was very quiet, had excellent air conditioning, and a good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were plentiful with very good baguettes and croissants.
The room could have been painted a brighter colour, but this wasn't a very important detraction. It would have been a pleasant extra if there was a fresh cheese or yogurt with the breakfast.

The room was nicely decorated with very attractive wall colour and pictures. The furniture is also nice.
The bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately, we had two unpleasant arguments with a woman who I think is part of the family who runs the hotel, because of the air condition that was not cooling well. She was very unfriendly and her behaviour disappointed us very much.
On our first day I had already in the first hour after getting the room (at around 4 p.m.), when we were unpacking and having a shower, the impression that the AC is not cooling well. It stayed unpleasantly warm. But since we were before at two other places during that vacation , I had a fresh comparison (there the ACs were great). I told this to the woman who is the only one there wo speaks English and she promised to check. We went to the beach. When we came back she said that one window had not been closed well and that must have been the reason. She said it rather loudly in not the friendliest manner. We were surprised because we did not notice, but said ok and sorry.
Then we sat down in the restaurant garden to have dinner. She and two colleagues were serving there. We ordered wine and actually knew already quickly what we wanted to eat but she ran away after serving the wine, so we had no chance to order. Then for 30 minutes neither she nor any of her colleagues came to ask what we wanted to eat. She stayed inside in the restaurant. We wondered if this was because of the AC thing that we are being ignored...? After half an hour we decided we will pay for the wine and go to the neighbouring restaurant because we saw that there the food is coming quickly. My boyfriend stood up and went to her for paying. In the talk that we had we complained about the long wait staying polite of course, but expressing our wonder and disappointment in being ignored so long, as guests of the house... There were no apologies from her side.
At night I had problems to fall asleep because the AC was not cooling properly and also my allergic cough (I have a gras allergy and take antiallergic drugs in spring and summer) was disturbing.

It’s a perfect location on the island for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a nice spot next door to rent a bike that provides a discount for individuals that stay at the hotel.

nothing, we left the hotel 30 mins after check in.
the personnel is disrespectful and not customer-oriented. the facilities are not worth a single penny to spend.
I requested via booking a cancellation of the fee (355 eur for 2 nights) a couple of days ago, they haven’t even responded.
it’s a very old building poorly renovated inside, with very small rooms and bathrooms.
location is on the main square where you simply have no air to breathe because of dust.
When we ordered a beer in the hotel “restaurant”, the waitress said the terrace was only for eating , no drinks. we refused to go away, stating we were the guests of the hotel. She nearly through the glass of beer on the table.
We were first provided a room on the 1st floor, but the toilet was not working there.
So the hostess proposed to change the room for “a better” as she called it, because the plumber would be available only the next morning.
The room we were given instead is number 11, which is on the ground floor and has a narrow window facing the corridor in the yard which personnel is using.
There were no any bath stuff: no soap, no shower gel.

The location in the centre of the village. Nice comfortable bed.
The room was next to the kitchens/dishwasher area and the smells of drains was very unpleasant when you left the room. Fortunately they did not get into the room
4.0
the enviable position in front of the central square
dirty and small room, clogged drain with unpleasant smell, hair and more .. a spider in the bed.

Exceptionnel. Situation. Services. Restauration

staff and location , staff especially were brilliant
having read the reviews room 10 is the worst one, Booking.com made the reservation for us because an error over another hotel not our fault, and we ended up with room 10 absolutely awful, smelly and damp, they must know there is a massive problem with that particular room, unfortunately we got it and basically ruined our night in porquerolles

Great location and friendly staff

Great location, friendly and helpful owner, very close by / walking distance to the port. Access to biking options.
Language barrier was a huge issue. We adjusted our expectations prior to the trip because there was no proper correspondence over email or messaging. We had many questions but did not have all answers with us as we did not quite know how the logistics would pan out. This is a separate island that requires multiple transfers so we had a car that we dropped off at Hyeres airport, picked up a car service to La Tour Fondue port and from there to take the ferry to the island. The instructions were not 100% clear and so we had to call, email, and message to find out more details (as a first timer), but struggled tremendously. To our surprise, when we got there, it turned out to be quite chilled out and I eventually had my inquiries addressed. `

The hotel is conveniently located on the main plaza: everything happens there! Rooms are new and clean. Breakfast is included, it is served on the plaza. (Coffee, orange juice, croissant and baguette!).
There are different types of rooms, and when booking you don't know what you may get: a view on the port, a view on the plaza... or a room behind the restaurant kitchen, in the back with a view on nothing.
I would recommend calling when booking to make sure you get the room you expect.

Clean, comfortable & calm. Excellent location

The location of this hotel is very convenient.
We got the room above the restaurant’s kitchen, so the smell of the cooking was quite strong. Specially the bathroom is impregnated with food odor.

the location and our room (7) was very nice. the staff were also friendly and engaging
we had a second room to fit the 4 of us and it didn’t have a window and therefore no natural ventilation. the scent was strong from the cleaning products.

gréât location and balcony room really good

Breakfast adequate. Location right in the middle of village. Walk only 2 minutes from ferry.
Room small. Stairs narrow and steep. A tall person would hit their head on the corner of the TV if they didn't duck. Only toiletries was a tiny bottle of body wash. They did find a tiny bar of soap. Asked for washcloth--none available.

Smell in the room was terrible. Bad ventilation in the room.

People were lovely. The place was clean, the bed and pillows comfy. The breakfast was good and it's nice you can have a drink outside the hotel which is also a restaurant and a bar.
Room Nr 6. No window!! There is a small velux in the ceiling, when open the noise of extractor fans is loud.
The room is so small you can barely walk around the bed, to navigate two people is impossible.
This is not at all the room on the photo when we booked nor does it fulfil the specs as it was CONSIDERABLY smaller than advertised.
The restaurant severed us completely raw chicken...

Great location, right in the centre of the village. The room was clean with fluffy towels provided.
The room was tired, the sliding door to the bathroom was stuck, and there was various bits on the walls that were peeling.

Bring a studio, we were not part of the physical hotel. It was nice to be apart and have our own hours. Beholden to no one.
