The Hotel is amazing. Very caring people are working there. I asked for some vegan options for the breakfast and was offered a lot, it was really great. Besides we were able to enjoy the pool area alone as there were not many people. Super well renovated house and cosy decorated. We even got a tour for the history of the hotel. Can only recommend, would definitely come again!! :)

Very friendly people. I loved the introduction/tour of the house, which is still in the family and an old winery. Very comfortable place, lovely breakfast and super clean. Just a very short drive from Setubal, so worth considering if you're visiting there.

The breakfast was a classic Portuguese affair and it was delicious!! Warm bread, warm croissants with Portuguese cheese and local cold meats!

The location was good in the old town center and even if the streets are narrow we could find parking space. It is close to the restaurants and also to the old castle. The breakfast was very good and the room was very clean. The personal was nice and helpful when we needed anything. It was a great stay and we hope to return.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. The flat was located in an old house of former wine makers and is very lovely arranged. After a complete house tour with our host Rita we got a lot of information and we felt directly home.
The wonderful breakfast was provided by Rita exactly according our wishes.
The location is perfect to explore the old area of Palmela and just 10 min away from the famous castle.

Not my first stay, so I knew what to expect. Very colourful old wine cellar converted to small pousada. They still sell wine, which is excellent and extremely affordable. The pool is just the right size for a couple of people and gives great privacy. Location right next to the Palmela park under the castle could hardly be better.
An otherwise very nice breakfast could do with a choice of warm dishes (eggs, maybe toast).

The host was extremely nice, and gave us a tour of their old winemaking facility and a superb wine tasting.
We were there on a Monday, and apparently most things in Palmela were closed - make sure there are open places when booking.

Nice location just below the castle, pretty room for a nice price and friendly staff.
The blankets were a bit too thin for the season, room could be warmer and shower didn't get hot (just mild)

As always, a very friendly and personal reception.
The room we chose has a lovely view over Palmela and the quaint pool.
The breakfast is served at the table, with more than enough fresh fruit, bread, cheeses and jams.
In order for guests to re-enter the hotel at any time, there is an electronic unlocking system . . . it takes some getting used to, and there is always a certain relief when you hear a faint 'click', and you can turn your attention to turning the rather unhandy doorknob.

It’s design and renovation plus maintenance.
Lack of helper for the luggage

The young lady who welcomed and took care of us during our stay was a true angel: unbelievably nice and welcoming. She made our stay! The hotel is really cosy too, we had a great large room with a beautiful bathroom.

I’ve really loved this place. I was not expecting this at all. This gorgeous hotel is much better in real! It’s very stylish and sophisticated. The village is also very charming. I would have loved staying longer!
Nothing…and trust me I’m picky;)

Loved the Kingsized bed, and the amazing bathroom.
There is always a delicious assortment for breakfast, served with care.
The staff reception is warm and welcoming.
Only comment on the room was the view into a non-descript 'courtyard' (room during previous stay looked out over a part of Palmela)

Everything was great. Family atmosphere. Great recommendations of local restaurants. More breakfast than we could eat. Lovely location. Wonderful views.
There was nothing bad. The only constructive criticism might be that it would be nice to have a fridge with milk in for tea or coffee. Other facilities were great including everything else required to make tea and coffee!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the casa! Very friendly owner, the room was beautiful (we had the room with the patio and bath tub), breakfast was perfect and it was very relaxing at the pool.
She also gave us some suggestions about restaurants in town and they were very good.
Would definitely recommend!

Our arrival was warmly greeted . . . very friendly staff.
The room was really nice, and the fact that there are only 4 rooms makes the experience feel exclusive.
The breakfast was brilliant . . . fresh fruit, fresh bred, selection of cereals, yoghurt, cheeses and jams . . .
more than enough food :)
The location at the top of the hill, under the Palmela castle was great . . . for the view and the proximity to the town.
Unfortunately, the shower door in our room did not stop large amounts of water leak onto the wooden floor . . .
In contrast to the well kept interior, the exterior walls, and the swimming pool need a little attention
