The area has lots of land conservation making it a heaven for Manatees and their calves, and dolphins.Lots of cranes and other tropical birds as well as the white bald eagle. The house has a nice kitchen with a large kitchen table. The living room has a large Flatscreen TV, fireplace, and plenty of seating. Nice screened-in porch area to get out of the sun and enjoy outside.The Master bedroom has a King bed and a bathroom within the room. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have 2 twin beds per room. The 2nd full bath is across from the bedrooms, the 4th bedroom It has 4 twin beds Come and enjoy historical Flagler Ave With special events constantly, unique shops and great restaurants, and Canal St street offer antique stores, restaurants, and shops. The hot tub and pool heat are extra charges. A meter is read upon check in and out. You can monitor your cost while staying and decide if you want it on or off. Currently nthe hot tub propane is $42. per 5% usage and pool heat is $8 to $45. per night depending on outside temps and the temp you desire the pool at. If wanted credit card info needed.

We stayed the first weekend of November, after hurricane Ian. Almost every house on the street had piles of garbage from hurricane damage, carpets, furniture, drywall, but this house did not have any garbage nor did it seem to have sustained any damage.
The house met our needs. We were four older men taking part in a match is New Smyrna Beach. We each had a bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and the sectional sofa was huge, actually too big for the room, The living room, with the big sectional, had a smart big screen and each bedroom had a smart TV as well.
We did not use the backyard and pool.
The house is one or two miles from I-95 and one or two miles from a shopping center with a Publix grocery store.
I would stay there again if attending something in the area.

When I saw this listing online, I thought it would be perfect for a girl's beach trip. Upon arrival we saw that the house was in desperate need for a makeover. The kitchen cabinets did not shut, they were dirty, the countertop was chipped. The bathrooms were small and really outdated. The fourth bedroom was a garage and you felt like you were still in a garage. There was no closet, no storage for clothes, no mirror (in any of the bedrooms), the ac was exposed. Extra bedding was just shoved on a wire shelf. The pillows were hard. The laundry room was in the fourth bedroom and the washer was not even standard size. No laundry soap even though we were told to wash the towels. No extra toilet paper, paper towel, tissues were provided. The pool filter was not working. Called the property manager and left a message, no return call. There were so many bugs floating around the edge of the pool that we felt we could not use the pool. We did try to skim it ourselves, but the net had several large holes so what was picked up went right back into the pool. Two of the beach chairs were so rusty that one broke when we tried to open it. None of the floating pool toys were inflated. They were dirty. Holes in the screen room screen so bugs all the time. I was very embarrassed that I chose this house. The on-line photos were taken in such a way that all the flaws were hidden. I really don't think the owners, or the property manager take any pride in this property. Such a shame because the location is good as is the layout of the house. I have been booking with VRBO for four years and never was disappointed till now.

We had our parents coming down from Iowa so we wanted a place to stay that we all could be together but still have our own privacy. This house was perfect for that.

Family Vacation
We had an amazing time staying at this house! We really didn’t venture out too much, as it was so nice relaxing by the pool! Nice, quiet neighborhood! The house was equipped with all we needed, including pool toys! The water temp was perfect, no need to heat. We will definitely be back next year to stay again! Thank you!!

I really enjoyed my visit and the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The home is about 15 minutes from Flagler Avenue where you drive onto New Smyrna Beach. The location couldn’t be beat! I LOVED the pool! I am sure I will be back for a visit, soon!

Let me open with this , we have used VRBO and numerous other vacation / rental apps before and we vacation at least 2 -3 times a year . And never in the last 10 years or 25-30 vacations have we had such a horrible experience. Before I go into detail I want to add that we communicated to the property manager Cindy that we were unhappy early in our stay . She argued with me saying the priblmes problems didnt exist when they clearly did . Then she goes on to say that if we leave a bad review she will do the same to us as guests . ( I dont CARE ) I would rather spare another family from the misery we experienced. The house is in poor shape , poor quality repairs , screen was broken , furniture had rips and stains, the patio doors from master bedroom to pool area dont seal properly so BITING GNATS come into the bedroom and in my case I am allergic to them . I recieved over 100 bites . Most vacation homes we frequent are well maintained, with regular pool service and pest control . Not this house . in 9 days the pool was never cleaned and was filthy when we arrived. There was a condom in the hot tub from the previous guests which was disgusting . The kitchen cabinets have disgusting yellow goo inside of them . The landscaping was horrendous ,not manicured at all and a ridiculous amount of bugs . The pool area has weeds growing up all around and the fencing around the yard is in poor condition. And all of the furniture is disgusting and appears as if picked up on side of the road . The neighborhood in general was sub par for a vacation home . But by far the worst part of the experience aside from incredibly painfulbug bites and the embarrassment of staying in such a poor environment was dealing with Cindy The property manager . She was the most rude insensitive annoying person I have ever dealt with . Instead of owning the responsibility for our displeasure and wanting to help us she blamed us , argued with us insulted us and threatened us . I am a medical marijuana patient and DID not smoke in or around the house out of respect for anothers home . I did however leave a morsel of marijuana medicine on the nightstand and she said i was a druggy loser and i defiled the home with the presence of marijuana. Medical Marijuana is legal in Florida and Ny in which i maintain residence and medical status in both states . She called the police on me after we checked out over the morsel that was left behind all due to us not being happy.

Property was as described online. The pool and hot tub were excellent! The beds could definitely be better, but overall a great vacation home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

There were little things hat broke on us but house was spacious enough for the 9 of us to spread out and we all loved the giant pool. Seemed a little strange there wasn't a privacy fence or more shrubbery to block view from the road.

Mango tree retreat
The pool was awesome, I don't think I've ever spent more time in a pool than I did at Mango tree. Nice quiet neighborhood. The house was ok, could have been cleaner, we found things from previous guests in and under the couches, and we actually had to do some sweeping upon check in. I think updated windows and doors would really help keep bugs out and a/c in. Speaking of the a/c, it didn't keep the house as comfortable as we like, but as we were checking out, the whole system was being replaced with a completely new one. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend to others once improvements are made. Right now I would give it a 3.5 star rating, if improvements were already made, would definitely give it a 5+ star rating. To anyone reading this review, don't shy away from this place, I talked to Dan, one of the managers, real nice guy, and they are improving the place between guests as they have not had the property very long.

Vacation with wheelchair
For a 70s ranch the place was clean and all of the appliances worked. We had someone in a wheelchair and the accessibility to the main house was good. There was one small step into the house but could access all rooms other than the bathrooms. As travelers with a wheelchair we are prepared for no bathroom access though the house is listed as wheelchair accessible. The pool was clean with plenty of pool accessories available. The homeowners welcomed us upon arrival and referenced a very good local pizza restaurant. The house worked well for our needs of a large family with several older teens. We would stay again.

We had such a lovely time!
The house on Mango Tree is perfect for a family vacation! We spent most of our time swimming in the private pool or lounging near it. The pool toys available at the house were a hit with the kids. We cooked, played board games, and relaxed. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels for everyone in our group (plus more to spare!), and the washing machine and brand new dryer were very convenient. The kitchen was ample for all of our cooking needs (and because of COVID, we made our own dinners every night). The grill out by the pool was excellent as well.
The beach was SO MUCH FUN! New Smyrna Beach is about 20-25 minutes drive from the house. We went to the Flagler entrance each time and paid the $20 fee to park directly on the beach. This meant no loading up a wagon and carrying all the kids' stuff from a far away parking spot- our car was about 20 feet away from us the whole day! People were tailgating on the beach with tents and grills and the works. Next time I'll definitely bring our tailgating gear and do the same. We were able to rent chairs and umbrellas from a company on the beach. The ocean was beautiful and just what our family needed.
Dan and Cindy were available and incredibly helpful. They were responsive when we needed them and gave us our privacy as well. They couldn't have been nicer!
We LOVED our vacation and feel like we found a gem at the Mango Tree house. You'll have a great time there, too!

It was a very nice get away the property managers where very nice.
The only thing I wish was it was better stocked. We had to buy everything needed including basic supplies such as to, coffee and coffee fillers I would wish the basic supplies you would get in a hotel would be available
