Disappointing

Location

Apprtment was not clean. Construction at the entrance. Bedroom furniture is very old. Bathroom water driange not good.

Unexplained !

Large apartment, strange multilevel set-up though ?....

Although new 'ish' there were plenty of sub standard fixtures and fittings ( poor workmanship). Exposed wiring to lights, cables everywhere, paint falling off walls, oven range hood missing (just an exposed tube) one small blind across a large window ?, kitchen bench tops split, loose tap fittings, major construction site including rubble to walk through to find front access door. Blinds hanging loosely over back windows to hide the construction site at the rear.

Passable

Location was great.

No parking at the site. Hodge podge of glassware butWifi not for a group of seven did not work and host did not care. Counted sofa as seventh bed but not a pull out. No ventilation hood for stove. The luxury apartment not luxurious. Basement wall wet with paint peeling off.

good location spoilt by poor service and pillows

no Wi-Fi and person looking after apartment ignored request to fix. Pillows on beds the worst I’ve ever used - no substance. Too hot

Would not recommend

The location was great..

It was dirty, doing construction out back you couldn't sit outside without stuff falling on you. Had two half falling apart chairs and a table that was broke. No place to hang shower head when taking a shower had to place on floor. Kitchen was dirty no hood vent just a hole. Man was kind of rude he kept telling me I had 5 people but only had 4 one was a friend of my moms that lived in Mainz. Missing knob for light in one of the bed rooms hand prints and dirt on walls.. This was not the same place I stayed at in 2018 don't know if management changed,but way over priced for that apartment for two days.. Wouldn't recommend. We found far cheaper and cleaner in Mainz..

Apartment different to the one shown

The host accepted my request for free parking as compensation for being given a different apartment. The apartment we stayed in was acceptable for our needs.

We got a completely different apartment at a different location from the one shown in the description. It was not as nice as the one shown. No explanation, we were simply taken to a different place.

Very good location and a new apartment. Tarasse was very nice add-on.

It was little loud coming from the street but closing window helped.

Excellent stay in Mainz

Space and location. Excellent apartment! The construction near buy did not disturb at all which a good surprise.

Pillows should be replaced.

Nice centrally located apartment, good for large groups

The locaties is perfect and the shower was really nice as well. We also enjoyed the living room upstairs, which is perfect for larger groups to enjoy a meal or play board games

The kitchen isn’t ideal, there was still a moldy coffee filter in the machine. Additionally there is a huge construction site next to it, which wasn’t a disturbance on the weekend just a heads up though. Also would’ve appreciated some basic things in the cabinets like salt and pepper

Perfect stay in Mainz

The apartment is tasteful, modern, and spacious. The huge walk-in rain shower is a big plus. Contrary to what we read in other reviews, the construction place behind the building did not cause any disturbance, although we spent a lot of time at home during the day. With the terrace door closed there was no noise in the apartment, and it was very nice to hang even on the terrace itself.

Very good, central location. Good place for staying with a larger group. Good facilities and amenities overall.

Poor communication with the host. Necessary to ask several times for certain information and to receive feedback. This should run much smoother and easier...

Misleading pictures, would avoid

Good location.

A lot of construction activity was happening and the apartment didn’t feel completely ready yet. Some electric fixtures were falling apart, some switches did not work properly etc. Photos give a very misleading impression. The communication was also not the smoothest especially after the booking was confirmed.

Perfect central location in Mainz

Cool modern apartment, good parking in the closed yard and elevator in the building. Very flexible host in relation to arrival and departure.
