Pesima

La habitación tenia aire acondicionado

La disposición, amabilidad y ayuda del personal y dueños, al llegar nos mostraron una habitación con mucho ruido exterior, al preguntar nos dijeron que esos locales cerraban a la media noche, sin embargo, recien a las 4 de la mañana cerraron, no dormimos nada, pedimos el cambio y se molestaron indicando que teniamos que tener todo a medio dia listo para realizar el cambio, solicitamos el cambio de la segunda noche por un tour que ellos ofrecian, pagar la diferencia pero no alojarnos mas ahi, se negaron, el desayuno no es muy bueno. Pesima experiencia, me retire sin cambio alguno y perdi el dinero ya que me cambie a otro hotel….

Pleasant stay, but too noisy

Very central and busy location, close to everything in Rodadero. Pleasant, friendly staff. Cozy small hostel yard was much more peaceful compared to the street. Next time we would definitely choose a room facing yard instead. Room was basic, with large comfortable bed. Air conditioner worked well and was a life-saver, as weather in Santa Marta was unbearably hot. Internet was decent in public areas like co-working, kitchen, but didn't work stable in our room. Ping-pong in hostel was fun with kids running around and cheering. Thorough room cleaning service every day. Tasty breakfast with few options to select from (I recommend omelet with mushrooms).

Very noisy street, take earplugs to sleep. Loud music, dances, drums, street singers until 12-1 am. And at 4am local restaurant below our room used to start preparing food, moving furniture, talking loudly. Bad smell from bathroom drain from time to time. A strange window in the bathroom definitely needs a curtain. (As a tall woman I felt uncomfortable while taking shower)

Location, swimming pool

The rooms are old,the breakfast is poor and has a small portion, the toilet and the bathroom is dirty and old,there is no ceiling of the bathroom (basically you do everything like you are inside the room ).

Pleasant

Central location in Rodadero, very cheap, friendly staff

Great value, very comfortable

Clean, comfortable, great location, friendly staff. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, room was surprisingly quiet considering we were above the street.

The included breakfast was modest but we didn’t mind for the price

Central Rodadero hostel

Central in Rodadero, with lots of restaurants and bars in the near vicinity. The staff are nice and try to be helpful (but just to be warned they speak no English). The rooms were an ok size with good air conditioning.

The bathroom left a lot to be desired, there was minimal light and the shower was basically a hose pipe coming from the wall. It was also quite noisy, as the ceiling in the bathroom was the plastic roof of the building and therefore it was possible to hear all the activity on the street below. This may not be the case in every room however and we may have just been unlucky.

Nice place to stay on budget

I think the place was ok for the price. The location was good, very close to the beach. The breakfast was also good

Following pictures and some reviews I expected better.

All staff service was good except one mature man at the reception at night. He doesn't like to help you much.

Breakfast was not good, very basic. Just to options of simple eggs or fry arepa, no chocolate, half terrible sliced bread and half thin arepa. This was the same everyday. It could be better for the rate or just lower the rate and offer it as an optional. Also shower is just a plumbing tube.
