Anya was a nice break from the city. The kids had things to keep them busy.
The place was beautiful and the staff was excellent!
Not a handicap friendly place.

Unfortunately, the bad experience mentioned above made our overall stay very unpleasant and dissapointing. Coming back t
Excellent massage at the Niyama Wellness Center. Enjoyed happy hour at Niyama especially the tapas. Good food choices at the breakfast buffet at Anila. Location is in a quiet and secluded area which makes it a perfect relaxing getaway.
I am writing to you to give you my feedback regarding our stay in Anya on Feb. 15-17, 2024. We initially thought of booking at Anya Resort because it has been marked as a member of SLH. We were expecting a relaxing 2 night stay. To our surprise, our expectations were set too high. Let us enumerate our observations: We were there early and so we had our bags stored in the baggage room. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our booking. All they saw was that we canceled our booking. What they didn’t see was that we rebooked on the same day we canceled and that we had a confirmed booking. We went out for a coffee for a while but then we had to go back to Anya because a cup of Matcha Coffee spilled onto my shirt and pants. So we thought that since we are official guests of Anya Resort, they will try to help us the best they can, which is what we expect from an SLH member hotel. Since we were on our way to a Despedida de Soltera luncheon and I did not bring any other appropriate clothing to the event, I was planning on rinsing my shirt and pants with water in the comfort room, in case they did not have any available place for me to fix myself. I also asked if they could at least lend me a hair dryer so that I can dry out the wet shirt and pants. However, they could not offer me a place to rinse my shirt properly, and they also said that they did not have any hair dryers to lend me for just a short time. At that moment, I was disappointed but then I just went on and found something else to wear. While all this was happening, we were also told that they found our booking but they couldn’t give us a king sized bed because it was sold out. It came as a surprise to me that they told me it was sold out because I made my booking in October 2023, so I couldn’t believe their excuse. It turned out well in the end as they had a king-sized bed after all. The description on Booking.com did not match with the kind of room they gave us.

Overall. The property was great BUT THE FOOD WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for both of us guests.
1. The room was clean, smells good and spacious. I would rate this 9/10 2. Resort staffs were friendly 3. Food - the only breakfast food which tasted good was the pasta with sardines.
1. The sinks were a bit clogged as the water drained very slow 2. The male waiters in the restaurant were too noisy chatting with each other while we were having dinner. 3. Breakfast was served in buffet but it lacked the wow factor in it. The same with dinner - food was such a big disappointment Breakfast - The watermelon juice taste like it was expired. Even the fruits taste expired plus there were fruit flies seen. I told the staff about the juice and his response was just maybe it's because of the honey.. so they put honey in fresh watermelon juice??? - The waffle was hard as a cookie. - The eggs benedict was served cold. - The chicken adobo meat was hard - The corned beef tasted like an ordinary Argentina corned beef - The pork tocino tasted off compared to a famous tocino brand in the grocery Dinner - The lady recommended to us that the pork sisig is highly recommended, so we tried. But to our disappointment, the meat was tough to chew. - Even the bulalo failed us. The meat was also tough to chew and tasted plain. I have to say that the bulalo from mahogany market is way better compared to the one from the resort. 4. It was very difficult to switch channels on TV as the cable TV box was placed underneath the cabinet, you have to twist your arms/wrist and point the remote downwards rather than point it in a more leveled position. Maybe place the box just below the TV or on top of the cabinet. 5. Upon check-out, I asked (JC) if I can get a hard copy of the receipt (one placed in an envelope) but he said they will email it to us instead. A day has passed since we left the property, no receipt came to my email.

It was amazing, superb, relaxing.
The place was amazing, everything in it was so good. Very quiet, very relaxing. The staff are all very friendly, always greeting, always assisting. They are very accomodating. Food was superb, though more breakfast options will be a good addition. Heated pool was one of the reasons I chose this place. Will definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants to escape from the city. Surely, I will come back. ☺️
More breakfast options. Room amenities a little bit outdated.

Great place to disconnect, the room as huge and the overall service fundamentally luxurious.
Effortless check in and in-room check out and settlement. Good foundation on service fundamentals and choices, just need to improve food quality & availability in your main restaurant. Great maintenance of property as well.
Improve availability of menu items in restaurant. Need to improve bugs management in dining areas, flys are getting close to the food sometimes. Improve communication skills of staff. Improve Wifi speeds during peak usage hours, sometimes things wont load for a few seconds. Implement bandwidth management. Add items that can be "borrowed" -- Chargers, Lint roller, hdmi cable etc.
