About this house rental
Located in Fripp Island, this charming house for $2,120 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Casa Del Mar is a spacious oceanfront five-bedroom, five full-and-two half-bath home that offers sweeping views of the ocean. The home provides an ideal layout for families to enjoy spending time together, while also offering private space. The first floor includes three bedrooms; two of which are oceanfront suites with king-sized beds and spacious walk-in private baths which feature European glass, custom tiled showers which offer a spa-like experience of rain heads and sprays, as well as jetted tubs for your relaxation. Both suites have their own flat-screen 32-inch flat screen TVs, with direct access to a covered porch, situated just steps from the beach. The third bedroom is perfect for children/teens, as two sets of twin/full bunk beds offer their own sanctuary. This room has its own full bathroom with combination tub/shower and half-bath just outside in the hallway. Down the hall is the laundry room with washer & dryer, utility sink, drying racks and a second full-sized refrigerator. Also located on this level is a large living area with kitchenette with mini-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee pot, blender and toaster oven for your convenience. The 50-inch flat-screen HDTV in this area offers a gathering place replete with a queen-sized sofa bed. This space opens to an expansive sundeck and covered patio that overlooks the ocean. The second floor can be accessed via elevator or stairway. It features a large kitchen with granite counter-tops, stainless-steel Viking appliances, microwave, Keurig and Cuisinart coffee makers, as well as an abundance of cherry wood cabinets. There is also a wet bar with a 28-bottle wine cooler, formal dining area, as well as a large family room with a 65-inch HDTV. There are two bedrooms on the second floor. The primary, oceanfront suite has a very large bathroom with a walk-in shower which features a spa-like experience, with a shower rain head, sprays and a jetted tub. The primary suite also has a 65-inch flat-screen TV. All bathrooms in this home have granite counter-tops to add to the elegant feel. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with private bath, a 26-inch flat -screen TV and two nightstands; each with its own USB ports. Enjoy the lower level with room for 3 cars along with an under-air ping pong room; ideal for avid players. There are two tank-less water heaters located here so everyone is able to take a hot shower at any time. Walk outside and relax on the 1220 sq feet of porches and decks. Take advantage of amazing sunrise views while watching the dolphins play ocean-side or enjoy sunset views off the dining area balcony overlooking the marsh. *We apologize, but the fireplace is not for guest use. Resort access is available for an additional fee: a resort fee plus a per person guest card cost. Resort access requires a car pass to enter. Information for this entry pass should be gathered at booking or a minimum of 14 days before arrival. Please note that there is a maximum of 5 cars allowed. As our gift to you for booking with us, we offer free admission to select Sea Islands and Beaufort attractions. Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like the Kazoo Factory and a free kayak rental. It’s our way of saying, “Thanks!” Please note that guests must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property.

Beautiful property! Spacious and well appointed. We had a wonderful week with our large family. It was hard to leave and go home. Ocean view was amazing! One tip I would give to visitors: bring plenty of bug repellent. Mosquitoes were vicious all over the island!

The location of this rental cannot be beat - it’s so close to the beach, just a few steps. The views from the living room are amazing! The kitchen was well stocked, with everything you could possibly need. The elevator worked well for our father in law who can’t do stairs. The beds were comfortable and the layout was great. Communication with the property manager was good, no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again with our family.

Great vacation
Great house. Perfect for family getaway. No arguments of bedrooms because they were all equally nice. Each with full bath and three spa tubs. Wow. Beach was perfect distance to back yard. What views! You can enjoy sun rises from one side and sun set from the other. First time vacation to Fripp island. Wish we could stay longer. We would definitely visit again.

Gorgeous House
We loved our stay at Casa Del Mar. It was equipped with everything you could ever need for multiple families, space enough for everyone, and had the most amazing views!
It didn't affect us too much, but one thing to consider when staying here is that the section of Beach that the house is located on is unusable during high tide. That only happens twice every 24 hours, but it is something to consider if you plan on spending your time on the beach from sunrise to sunset. High tide for us was from ~10am to ~1pm. Give or take an hour.
One issue we ran into was maintenance workers coming to the house unannounced during the day. We were not notified that anyone was coming and infants were woken up from their naps with the loud banging. After speaking with someone it was agreed that they would come back on the weekend after we checked out, but they still came the next day to finish up their work. It was hard to reach somebody to speak to regarding the issue in a timely manner. The men finished up their work and we had no further issues. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the house per se, but it was frustrating to try and communicate with the property manager or someone who had control over the work order.
Overall this was very minor, and when we were finally able to get in contact with someone they were very pleasant and quick to act. I sincerely hope that we can plan future vacations at Casa del Mar.

Great house for a family of all ages
This was our 2nd stay at Casa Del Mar. We came with 4 families ages 3-63. The house is perfect for everyone to have their own space. Each bedroom has its own full size bathroom, the kitchen is large and fully stocked to make any meal, and the kids have their own lounge area on the second floor to set up video games away from the main living area. The views of the ocean from just about every room can’t be beat and the location near the end of Tarpon Blvd, make it feel like we have more than enough beach to ourselves. We look forward to renting this perfect house again.

We love this house! It is the location of our family vacation for the past few years. This house has the most gorgeous views. The house is well maintained. Each bedroom is perfectly appointed with a besuited bathroom. We hope to continue our vacations here for many years!

Great location on a beautiful island near Beaufort
This is a beautifully appointed home on the beach. There are windows and newly refurbished decks with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding area. Views of sunrises and sunsets. There's a gourmet kitchen fully equipped with granite countertops, and stainless steel Viking appliances. 2 beautiful fireplaces for the cooler weather. The house has 3 master suites and additional bedrooms with baths. Sleeps maybe 17? It's beautifully furnished and is as comfortable for 2 (my husband and I with an occasional guest) as it would be for multiple families. Close to Beaufort, Port Royal, Hilton Head.

We come to casa Del Mar every year. This house is equipped with everything you need for the best vacation ever! The kitchen is a dream. The bathrooms are like your personal spa. The decks are perfect to relax and enjoy the view. The highlight...the beach just steps from your door. All around best house on fripp island!!

Great home!
The home is fantastic! This was our second year in this home and next year will be our third! The home is well maintained and comfortably held 6 adults and 6 kids. There are many features, but we especially loved the extra refrigerator on the main level! The ice machine was a nice touch as well. The kids had a blast in the basement playing ping pong. The outside has a very nice sitting area near the house and also a nice area closer to the beach. I would for sure recommend this home!

Oct 7-14 best place to relax, enjoy family, the beach and just family fun in the most wonderful home away from home. Everything you need toys, games, beach equipment, wonderful kitchen, 5 bathrooms a dream, closets, whatever you can think of casa Del Mar has it. Thank you staff for fulfilling our every need.

Our favorite vacation spot
We stayed at Casa Del Mar in May this year. Fripp Island is beautiful in the Spring. The weather is cool and comfortable - no crowds. The home is magical - designed with spectacular views from every window and quality furnishings that blend with the environment. The home is well maintained and equipped with the finest appliances. It is comfortable. It has an elevator. The owners just added a lovely fireplace to the upstairs master suite. It was perfect for the cool May nights. Decks everywhere. Right on the beach.

AMAZING OCEANFRONT HOME
We stayed in May, and had a WONDERFUL, RELAXING TIME!! The home had a fully stocked kitchen! We cooked almost every night and had every item we could possibly need for a perfect dining experience! The views from this home is so perfect! I would just sit on the comfortable love seat and just stare at the beauty! Our group agreed that we stayed in the BEST home on the Island! We hated to leave paradise! Our plans are to return and bring more family and friends to experience this beautiful place!

My husband and I just returned from a heavenly week at this fabulous home on Fripp Island. It is our fourth visit to Casa Del Mar with a group of friends, 4 couples, ages 60 and over. The home never disappoints. After our first visit in 2013, the group all voiced, “why mess with perfection ? ” so we have returned and rented this same home again and again since. You just can’t beat this home and the luxurious stay it offers to any guest. The owners never disappoint and have only continued to improve the amenities. This year we arrived to all new mattresses in the home, a new wide screen TV ( yes, we were there for March Madness and did watch a bit of TV), a new gas fireplace in a master suite and upgraded decking on all the porches and decks.
We love the luxury and openness of the home, the ability to gather as a group, but seek solitude in all the quiet areas of the home, including the decks and porches. The oceanfront view is heavenly from all angles and the location on the island ideal. The owners are extremely attentive to every detail and housekeeping is top notch. We can only hope to be able to return for another visit in the future. I would highly recommend this home to anyone for ANY occasion and join the chorus of reviews from repeat renters that praise this home as Fripp’s BEST !

Outstanding House
We stayed at this house for a week in late March with 3 other couples. Had a great time on the Island and local area. The house was a great place to enjoy our mornings watching the sun rise and listening to the waves day and night. Hope to use it again in the future.

Beautiful Home, Fantastic Location, Relaxing Vacation
Our family has stayed in this home twice. The layout, amenities, and location are all as described. The owner and management company are top notch. We've never had any issues, but they have always been very proactive in reaching out to let us know how to contact them any problems. I only wish we could spend the other 51 weeks of the year there! I would definitely recommend it.

Heaven on earth!
This is your home away from home...5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms with bathtubs! Plus 2 half baths, 2 seperate living spaces, 2 refrigerators, steps from the ocean. The kitchen is perfect, Viking range and fridge...has everything you could possibly think of or need. 2 large porches and huge deck. To put the icing on the cake this house is at the quiet, less populated end of the beach. It's the perfect place for a wonderful vacation. Kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, golfing or just relaxing. This is your heaven on earth.
