This leafy corner of the world is a little paradise. Across the road from lake access and one house up from the turning circle (boat trailers abound) The house was well divided into bedrooms and bathrooms making it so much easier for sharing amenities - that’s really well thought out on the part of the owners. It feels like a well loved and enjoyable family holiday house. Cleaning was passable - The glass doors upstairs were dirty unfortunately (water facing) - so we kept that open mostly, the bbq gas bottle was empty and bbq very* dirty. PPH dropped off bbq cleaning cloths and a full gas bottle the next day with no hesitation. Once those kinks were sorted we had no issues. Dealing with a large holiday company as opposed to an owner had its draw backs - a lot of legal emails prior to arrival. The kitchen was very well appointed - a few things missing which we were happy to improvise on holidays. Loved having a spare fridge. Overall a super functional and very well maintained house with multiple relax zones both indoors and outside. All fixtures and fittings worked well. Lights and lamps and fans and appliances all worked perfectly. The backyard is enclosed and relatively private. Note; the bottom beds of the bunk bed room are for little kids only - a very tight space. All mattresses were super comfortable. Loads of spare blankets and pillows. Proximity to surf beaches is great - 10 minute drive to Blueys and Boomerang. I was here with 4 teenagers who had a magical memory making holiday. The lake was perfection. Evening walks quiet and safe. It’s west facing so sunsets were divine. Nature took care of us.
