We stayed 2 nights at Casa da Cal Branca. You get a 2 story apartment with 2 bedrooms all to yourself. It was more than large enough for the group of 3 we had staying there. The kitchen is well stocked with most everything you should need. It was a short walk to the Évora attractions, cafes and restaurants. Évora is a lovely town with a lot to see and do. We will be back!

Booking.com had the wrong address, listing stated #40 and it was 13. We had a lot of luggage that had to moved. Booking.com should make sure that the correct information is listed, maybe request a picture of the front of the rental. The last time they omitted information cost me over $200.00. Another time the owners of the unit requested a deposit after the fact, which is illegal, once you have a contract, change can be made if all parties agree to the changes. I did not mind placing a deposit but they had no way of collecting since I did not have an European Bank account. The "ENTIRE APARTMENT with a car" kept my MONEY. Thus far Booking.com has done nothing to help me. I suspect it was a scam.

That they may get off Booking.com. I told him good luck with that. It might have lost something in the translation.

abbiamo telefonato al nostro arrivo e l' incaricato è arrivato in 5 minuti, la casa è completa , in pieno centro, non è possibile parcheggiare ma si può transitare per scaricare le valige, il parking grande e gratis è fuori le mura a 5 minuti a piedi, la casa è antica ristrutturata ,molto carina, le camere sono al piano superiore ed hanno il ventilatore, una con finestra, ed una con lucernario, siamo stati solo una notte , la cucina ha tutto il necessario, Evora è stupenda, e io consiglio questa struttura.

O alojamento correspondia a uma unidade com dois pisos além do piso térreo e pequeno terraço, com verdadeira capacidade de acolher 8 hóspedes (éramos 5). Tudo com limpeza impecável e com bom gosto. Cozinha equipada com tudo o que necessitámos. Aplica-se a mesma descrição a todo o equipamento / dotação (casas de banho, quartos / roupa de cama, ...). Apenas faço notar uma televisão de muito pequena dimensão colocada no espaço de "sala", que poderia ser bem maior com um pequeno investimento nos dias atuais. Pena foi que na manhã fossemos "gratificados" com uma multa de estacionamento no valor mínimo de 30 euros porque deixámos a viatura estacionada no largo junto ao alojamento. Verdadeira caça ao valor de multa, uma vez que a viatura ficou estacionada de forma impecável num local dedicado ao efeito (estacionamento). Deixou o agente escrito que estaria estacionado em cima do passeio (num lugar onde não existe qualquer passeio marcado). Na verdade o agente deve ter achado que a viatura estaria demasiado junto à parede, embora tenha sido respeitado o espaço suficiente para um carrinho de bébé, inclusive de gémeos. Enfim, inqualificável... tentarei a defesa dado que o lugar era de estacionamento e nada no local define o espaço de "passeio" (não há sobrelevação, nem lancis, nem nenhuma marca hotizontal de qualquer tipo que não seja a marca do limite exterior de lugar de estacionamento), embora confesso que de forma pouco convicta. Claro que nada deste inconveniente pode ser "colado" ao alojamento, que efetivamente é de qualidade e que se recomenda de forma veemente.

Nada a referir de negativo.

could use a bit more lighting inside, the bed side lights didn’t work and bathroom need a fan of sorts.

Location is good, close to the city center and its sights.

The apartment would need some updating. The bottom slats of the double bed are broken. The oven does not work properly, produces black smoke. The toilet seat should be replaced. The shower hose and shower holder are broken. The sofa in the living room is almost unfit to sit on.
