New Safety Protocols - 4145 By The Sea Inn & Suites is taking new measures to ensure that all of its guests feel safe in the age of the coronavirus. Clean We clean surfaces using soap and water, then we use disinfectant. Cleaning with soap and water reduces number of germs, dirt and impurities on the surface. Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces. We practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. cleaning and disinfection based on level of use. High touch surfaces include: Tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, remotes, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc. Disinfect We use a specific disinfectant used for hospitals and also bleach Bleach solutions will be effective for disinfection up to 24 hours. Soft surfaces For soft surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes We clean the surface using soap and water or with cleaners appropriate for use on these surfaces. We disinfect and vacuum as usual Laundry For towels and linens We launder items according to the manufacturer’s instructions.We use the warmest appropriate water setting and dry items completely. Ivory Room comes with a Queen Size bed and a private bathroom recently remodeled. Our hotel is located 3 minutes from Lauderdale By The Sea center. We have different kind of rooms, we are in a quiet area but very close to everything ! Beach is in front of us. You will enjoy the area and activities, beach, fishing, diving, you can also rent a car or bicycles. We provide linens, beach towels and chairs towels. Our Hotel has a patio and a BBQ if you want to relax and have dinner outside. You will love the place !

Although the room was small it was clean and had everything we needed for or brief stay. Quick walk to the beach and the restaurants. No car needed!

One week reservation. We believed we booked a room with a kitchen. The proprietor showed me the VRBO reservation wherein we hadn’t. We met our neighbors in the room next door, who informed us of the same issue. The fan above the bed was filthy. We found pretzels loose under the bed. I texted Marjorie requesting a mop or something I can clean the floor with. No response, but soon after we texted because the television was not working. We received a call from her husband. He stayed on the phone..lIt was disconnected and we’re instructed how to have it up and running again. Finally, we stayed at this property because we had a wedding to attend. My husband left his suit in the closet neatly packaged in a suit bag. I received a text from Marjorie informing me of this. We were already hours into our drive home. She asked me to come back! I asked if she could please hold it until May 2 when we will return to Florida. Her response was she would hang it in the laundry room. Unacceptable. Just nothing expected. We knew there was no housekeeping, but we’re left with bare necessities, and would not recommend.

Location was great and room was clean - my only complaint - which is my own issue - is that the room is very small and there is nowhere to put clothing or toiletries or anything. There is a table under the tv, but it's tight. There is a small closet for hanging, but no drawers. Even something as simple as blowing out my hair was challenging. But if the size doesn't bother you, location is great and it was clean and inviting.

Stayed one night before checking into our other resort. Perfect location. Just be aware unit is located on the second floor with steps located on the exterior. In case you can’t carry luggage by yourself you may need assistance. Just two blocks from all that LBS has to offer.

We stayed two nights. The property is near a beautiful beach and close to restaurants. Very clean, minimalistic but with everything needed for a great stay. The owner was helpful and easy to work with.

Wonderful little place just a short distance to the beach and .3 mile walk to Ft Lauderdale by the sea. From the pictures we thought it was right on the beach, but you do have to cross a street to get there. Not far at all! Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I had a pretty decent stay at this property. Perks include: easy access to property, free parking, and good location. The room we stayed in was on the lower level and we could hear the upstairs and side neighbors (very thin walls), however that did not bother us too much as we were out within the city / beach majority of the day! The room itself was average - bed was very uncomfortable, the sink was gathering water which led me to pull out the sink drain stopper and I was disgusted at how filthy it was. However the sheets, floors, and tub appeared to be clean and maintained appropriately. I enjoyed having access to a mini fridge, microwave, air conditioning unit, tv, and wifi! Location is wonderful as it is close to the beach, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. If you need a decent place to stay for a few days, I would recommend this property!
