About this house rental
Located in Beaver Lake, this lovely house for $869 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. It's called "The VIEW" for a reason: lake views from every room in the house via oversized windows looking out onto the large wrap around deck. A natural rock patio with fire pit surrounded by koi ponds is a tranquil place to gaze up at the stars and down at the moon's reflection off of the lake. Easy lake access by means of cut stone steps with handrail for a 2 minute walk to the boat dock with swim deck, kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon boat. This 3,200 sq ft house with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths can comfortably sleep up to 15 people. It was built from the beginning as a lake house retreat for the owner's extended family to spend precious time together several times per year. Lots of water activities, including complimentary kayaks, canoes, & paddle boards. The 2021 18' pontoon boat can be rented for half or full day at a rate lower than the local marina.

Very roomy and comfortable home. Loved watching the birds and squirrels at the feeder every morning. The water toys and the convenience of renting the pontoon boat at the private dock were a plus for us. Getting down to the dock is a bit of a hike but worth it!

The view, the land, and the home were more beautiful than the photos on the site could capture. Our group enjoyed the spaciousness of the home and proximity to the water. We would love to return and highly recommend it.

Very nice property, as advertised. We loved the view and the deck. The birds & bird feeders were quite entertaining. The open space main floor was perfect for our family gathering of three generations. Yes, the stairs to the lakefront are a definite challenge for older adults. I gave communication a lesser rating because of some glitch in the interface between vrbo and apple products. This is not a reflection on the owner but something to be aware of. Ask about massages. The owner arranged for a massage therapist to visit us at the house. Heaven!

We had a wonderful time! The view from this house is spectacular. The house is great and very well stocked with almost anything you would need for your stay. The walk to the dock was a little difficult for us late 50 early 60 year olds but we all made it at least once a day. Kevin is a great host and quickly addressed any of our concerns. If given the opportunity we would definitely stay here again. Enjoy your stay!

We’re live from all around the country but our roots are in Arkansas. Perfect spot for togetherness in the best beauty that Northern Arkansas has to offer. Plus, the house is perfectly set up for multiple guests and the layout directs the eye to all the natural beauty around. The boat house with use of kayaks and canoe, the fire pit on the rock outcropping with comfy chairs and a frog symphony raised the bar even more. Thank you, Kevin and Kathy.

This was the perfect spot for a family getaway and wedding reception. My son was married at Thorncrown. We had the reception at this beautiful location and then stuck around for a few days of family R&R.. would return in a heartbeat! Perfect hosts and a beautiful view!

This property is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed. The house is clean, the bedrooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable. We were able to bring a pontoon and a ski boat and park it at the dock. Very convenient! Kevin always responded to my questions and is very helpful.

Lakeside Peace
Our family of 13 had an amazing time at “the view”. More than enough room for us to hang out, play games, take naps or just enjoy the views. The dock was by far our favorite place. Swimming, kayaking and a pontoon rental for the day gave all of us the get away we looking for. We will be back!!!

This was exactly what we were looking for. Something different than the beach or mountains, yet it had both! The seclusion and privacy provided the escape from the madness of the world and we felt like we were the only ones around to just chill out and enjoy the view, the private dock, the fishing, kayaking, happy hours on the incredible rock cliff outcropping and not to mention nightly fires for s’mores under the stars at night. Every morning I was up early to cast my line in the water as the fish were jumping and I had the cove all to myself to watch the day begin on the lake. The wife and kids would eventually make it down to the dock and we would have breakfast on the lake. The house was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. My teenage son enjoyed his own space downstairs while my daughters hung out on the top floors leaving the master suite and bathroom to me and my wife. The wrap around porch was big enough to host our nightly dinners at sunset and then a round of corn hole afterwards. The Koi pond with running water over the natural rocks was very zen-like and the bullfrog choir at night provided for some interesting sounds and laughs. Steve our host was very friendly and helpful when we rented the pontoon boat for the afternoon which was on a second dock next to the private dock and was extremely convenient and we all enjoyed getting out on the lake and exploring the many coves. Be sure to ask him where the “Castle Cove” is and head there for a cool view. We also spent a day of eating, shopping and sightseeing in the gorgeous town of Eureka Springs which was great and only a 30 minute drive. What a cool town. We really enjoyed everything about this place and have bookmarked it as one of our all-time favorites. Who knew you could get away from it all in the NW corner of Arkansas!

The place was nicely arranged and spacious inside, but the wow factor was the view outside from the porch or the fireplace overlook!
We had young men that had trouble with the twin beds as they are both over 6 feet tall, the basement may be more suited for children.

Wonderful Week at 'The View'

Incredible from start to finish
My husband and I stayed at this one-of-a-kind property to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Everything about our trip exceeded my expectations, and I had high expectations based on the photos on Vrbo.
Firs of all, the view is spectacular. We spent hours of our trip just sitting on the deck or the private dock simply appreciating the beauty of our surroundings.
The location on Beaver Lake is perfect. We rented the pontoon boat for the day and had an amazing time swimming and exploring the coves. My husband fished while I did paddle boarding.
At the end of each day, we'd come home and enjoy sunset wine on the porch.
To say I didn't want to leave this paradise would be an understatement.
We can't wait to return. This has become our new favorite getaway and will definitely be an anniversary tradition.

The location was excellent - a nice walk to the lake. The swimming dock had exactly what we needed. There are incredible views of the lake from almost every room in the house. The stone lookout area is gorgeous. We rented the pontoon one of the days and had a blast!
