Definitely would not recommend this place.

The only thing I liked about the property was that the rooms were warm and the location was great.

The wifi was non existent and the free parking also was nonexistent. Parking was mainly taken up by staff, so we had to pay for parking elsewhere.

Very good

Quiet room with a microwave and a fridge, which were a nice touch. Staff were lovely and helpful. Comfortable bed.

Common areas were a bit shabby, especially the stairs to the first floor. Limited parking (that was full by 5pm).

Great location and reasonably priced.

Great location, easy to walk into the main high street. Good take aways near the location. Centrally located. Access to a fridge.

Rooms are still being upgraded. Once completed they will be good.

Overall decor was very poor, bed was very low and uncomfortable. Front door kept getting slammed which shook the building.

Disgraced and disappointed.

The location wise is good as it closes to the down town.

The property a lot of wear and tear. The ceiling was damaged and the room very dusty. My room not been tidy up as been told. The towel not been changed at all. Very disappointed.

Don't stay here if you can at all help it

Id like to say it was cheap but it wasn't. It was well located and has free parking, tats about it.

This place is living in the dark ages and hasn't been upgraded or updated since then. When my wife and I walked into our room we both started laughing in disbelief and my wife said in jest "I wonder where we collect our drugs from"... It literally looked like a crack den and I would urge people not to stay here.

Dont stay too long, one or 2 days maybe. The bed was very bad for me.

good location, very central to Cheltenham.

No shelves or anything in bathroom to put your stuff, very uncomfortable bed.

Advertised parking but did not specify that limited spaces on first come first served basis which only found out after booking with no cancellation. Had to pay extra for parking

No breakfast. Location noisy but ok for night

Very dated rooms. Windows hard to keep open. Towels small and cheap. Bedding did not fit bed correctly.

No WiFi in our first room moved to another room. In both rooms the toilet seat was very lose. Extractor fan didn’t work. In the first room water in the shower didn’t run away very well. In the second room water from the en-suite leaked onto a flat roof outside the window and there was a foul smell in the shower room. The wash basin was cracked and there was no plug for the sink. Apart from that it was lousy.

Fridges in the rooms was a massive bonus. The tea, coffee and biscuit supplies. Fan in upstairs rooms. lovely helpful staff.

Very small bathroom, but it was clean. cold water tap was warm and didn’t get hot. Shower trickled water. I appreciate that renovations are taking place. Not enough parking. Also says tap water not suitable drinking water? so how do we fill kettle!

Ideally situated but not the best

Luckily we arrived at a time when there was a parking spot by the door. As I am disabled and rely on a mobility scooter this was ideal. The hotel was aware of this as I had mentioned when booking. However we had been allocated an upstairs room. This was quickly resolved and by the time I had got my scooter out of the car and put it together all was sorted. Many thanks. We were given a downstairs room which had twin beds rather than a double but this was OK for 3 nights. Also I could ride my scooter into the room with also had a seating area with a Chesterfield couch. Great to store my scooter. A microwave was a great addition.

,I think the room we stayed in is possibly a room in progress and awaiting work and decoration, however we agreed it was fine as i would struggle with stairs so this was the only option. The carpet is in need of a deep clean and net curtains would be good as the room looks straight out onto the busy pavement. The bathroom seemed fine and had a walk in shower which is perfect for me. However the water is so hot its bordering on dangerous. My wife had to give up on a shower and wash/rinse of her soapy body using the sink. I like a hot shower but even I could not stand underneath and just splashed water on myself best I could. The hot water in the sink tap was also very hot and the cold water ran hot after a few moments so cleaning your teeth meant using hot water at the end. The toilet seat lid fell of as soon as we touched it and the toilet seat is to small for the toilet. The toilet roll was so thin it's false economy as you end up using so much more. A notice in the bathroom told us the water was not fit for drinking this meant we had to go out and buy bottled water to make tea and coffee etc. A supply of plates, dishes, mugs, glasses and cutlery was supplied however trying to wash in the bathroom a little difficult and then having to boil water to pour over to rinse. On arrival coffee, tea etc and 2 x mini packs of biscuits were supplied. But these did not get replenished. We would like to think this is because it's a room awaiting renovation, not sure but the hotel is ideally situated to walk into the centre within minutes
