Imperial Palace is the best hotel I have stayed at my 19 day France trip this time.

Imperial Palace is the best hotel I have stayed at my France trip this time. We traveled in France for 19 days, from Paris, to Mount Saint Michel, to Central Lories Chateau area, then to Lyon, Marselle, Annecy, back to Paris. We are more satisfied with Imperial Palace than Paris Hilton Opera, not to mention the other hotels. The lake was beautiful, town was gorgeous, service is friendly, everything left us a beautiful memory. We'll stay in Imperial Palace again, if we will visit Annecy in the future.

Le lieu est en soi exceptionnel, mais c'est surtout le personnel qui nous a plu. Mention spéciale à Léa la barista qui a pris grand soin de nous! Super équipe pour un super lieu.

Voiturier très gentil

Le hammam ne fonctionnait pas : on ne nous prévient pas alors qu’on avait réservé 2 créneaux de spa… Si on a choisit cet hôtel, c’était pour le spa Déçue et lorsqu’on l’a dit au moment du check out, la seule réponse a été un « ah ! » Aucun geste commercial.

Un week-end reposant !

L’hôtel est magnifique, le personnel est au petits soins. Petit déjeuner de très grande qualité, des produits locaux et frais.

L’emplacement n’est pas idéal pour visiter la vieille ville, mais permet d’être bien au calme

Beautiful hotel.

The room was lovely and the staff were constantly cleaning the room and providing drinks and home made cookies. The restaurant was fantastic.

It was disappointing that you had to pay 15 euros to use the pool.

Absolutely stunning hotel,beautiful location. The staff were so helpful They organised a taxi for us to get to the train station on a hot day with no problem. Would highly recommend staying here and will return here again!. Please give my thank you to tge staff at the desk and the concierge (I cannot remember their names but they were 3 men). They are fantastic staff and I hope they are appreciated 😀

The location is a little bit out of the town however the views are amazing and the walk is beautiful

Over-priced

nicely appointed rooms and friendly staff who were happy to accommodate my attempts to speak French.

Incredible that guests are charged €15/hour to use the hotel pool. The photos give the impression that it is rather more secluded than it is, whereas it is immediately adjacent to busy urban residential area. It was not made clear than a lake view window is more expensive at the time of booking. For a place that represents itself as a resort, the gym is very poorly equipped.

Check-in. Staff is professional, friendly, and responds quickly to any requests in all areas of the hotel - check in, concierege, housekeeping, and brassiere. The hotel is beautifully updated in all areas: lobby, rooms, and restaurants.

Wonderful - spent a few nights here many years ago - the return visit did not disappoint.

We asked for an upgrade as the room we had booked only had a side lake view - for an additional 30 euros per night it was worth the extra investment to have the benefit of a wonderful full lake view.

The main restaurant was very expensive and with a limited menu. We were aware of this before we booked but had decided we would have one evening meal at the Brasserie and then dine in Annecy. It is quite a hike into the centre - a good 30 minutes at a very brisk walk, plus the return trek. For guests of a 'certain age' this may be an issue, and a taxi into town may be preferable. The WC is separate from the bathroom, but is very small.

Nice location, but way overpriced. Bad service

The location was really good, right at the lake. The concierge who helped us with the valet parking

We paid EUR790 for one night in their room with a balcony. The view was nice, but the value for money is absolutely 0. The balcony was nice but not very clean and comfortable and not very well kept. The room smelled and there were hairs in the bathtub. The hotel team, except the concierge, was not friendly and didn’t give us the ‘welcome’ feeling you can expect at this level of hotel. For this price, breakfast was not even included. When we inquired about it, the reception team acted arrogant and like it was normal by responding that ‘the room was nice’. So in other words: don’t complaint. You even have to pay for the swimming pool (per hour).

Fabulous

Location on the lake was beautiful and only a short stroll into Annecy. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with large choice. Had a meal in the brasserie which was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site parking was a bonus as parking in Annecy can be difficult.

We were not informed when we booked that there would be a High Five festival starting on the fourth day of our stay in which the hotel was involved, this meant that what appeared to be hundreds of what appeared to be 18-30 year olds descending on the hotel and literally taking over the bar and outside area’s until the early hours and barring actual hotel paying guests from these premises during these hours. So having booked this very expensive hotel for its exclusiveness , having spent a very disturbed and uncomfortable night we were relieved to be leaving the next day. On mentioning our disappointment with the events of the previous evening to the receptionist as we checked out, we got a ‘ sorry about that, and it was going to be even worse that night as there was going to be a party! ‘ And don’t even think of asking the concierge for any help, the poor man was run off his feet , taking luggage up to rooms, parking cars, delivering cars, handing out car keys to guests etc. it wasn’t any wonder he was a bit vague when we asked for help! Oh, and don’t as for a taxi or a private one will turn up and charge you 25 euros for a five minute drive to the old town! And ‘ turn down ‘ consists of a bottle of water and a chocolate! That’s it. Otherwise it was ok!!
