Average stay very old rooms

Our room was okay. My daughters bedroom was on the 4th floor, she was awakened in the early hours by a scrambling and scratching noise in the loft area, which carried on for a couple of hours so she and my son had a bad sleep. She thinks it was mice or rats.

Great value for money.

Great price with free parking. Easy access and good location. Nice size room with view over Quays. Good quality breakfast.

Bathroom was just a little bit dated.

Ideal location but nothing else

Location - close to media city / old Trafford and tram to city Bar/restaurant staff were nice

- cobwebs on ceiling - TV turned on every three hours waking us up - 1:30 fire alarm for a several minutes - bathroom ancient - not suitable for four star - black dirt around bathroom shower handle - check in staff talking about their bad stomach and check out on the phone pointing to leave cars - nothing you would expect for a four star hotel

We had a lovely night away.

Perfect location for food and drinks around the quays, Old Trafford Stadium and also shopping at the Trafford Centre. Staff were really helpful.

The bed wasn’t comfortable.

Great location...lack of service means won't stay r

Easy access to 2 tram stations allowed easy commuting, view of quays water front

Noone at check in most of the time, called down to reception multiple times and no answer 99% of the time over 3 days, checkout time no please or thank you...not very friendly service..and unhelpful, dated rooms

Perfect in every way but need a room with a view

Location is great for Manchester, breakfast was beautiful and hot and a good variety, the room was very nice, clean, spacious.

A room with a view as we had before and this time was the view of a road and a roof of a building, that was the only disappointing factor

Good hotel and friendly staff. Good transport links.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was kept clean and the room was checked each day. The breakfast was really good and the food nice and hot. The location was good for getting out it was a 10 to 15 minute walk to Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The tram stop just 2 minutes walk.

The hotel served us very well and we might use it again

Breakfast was good and a pleasant dining room. Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff - hotel seemed well run. Lifts were quick to arrive every time and fast. Room had everything I wanted - kettle etc, hairdryer, good assortment of lights, chairs for two, TV, Wi-fi, bathroom provisions Parking arrangements good although spaces were narrow. Good blackout curtains. They seemed to have focussed on providing the things that matter rather than useless glitz.

Filthy windows throughout the hotel. Room was somewhat tired - old carpet, cracked tiles in bathroom, some worn out and dated units but this was probably reflected in the price of the stay. In mitigation, there was evidence that some things had been updated. Our upgrade promised a room with a view but actually looked out on a mossy slate roof right outside the window! I let this pass as the main benefit of the paid-for upgrade was the cheaper breakfasts.

Had a 2 night stay here,Ideal location for man utd stadium,corrie tour and trafford shopping centre.would stay again.lovely view from our room.free parking.

Disappointing

Hotel staff wasn't helpful. We got 2 set of keys, only 1 was working. Breakfast price is higher than it's stated on Booking. The real price £11 vs £8.98 on Booking - not a big deal but adds up to the picture.

Superb

Second time staying in hotel in recent months. Love the location. Can't fault staff or facilities. Room had lovely quayside view. Close to Metro stops, Old Trafford and restaurants in Media City UK.

Breakfast aside, this was a very enjoyable short stay and will undoubtedly stay here again.

English breakfast for my wife was very good. Our chosen room with view of quay was spacious, clean & tidy.

I personally, am not fond of large English breakfasts and would normally chose Continental style but very little choice and chiller unit too cold for the small pieces of cheese and salami - very tasteless! No rolls just sliced bread. Maybe they had run out?

Warm spacious rooms ,comfortable bed,great view of the water and efficient room service

The key wasn't working right on the door,had to go down to reception for another key which also wasn't working right .also ordered a pizza and it was average.

Average rooms. Don't expect friendly staff.

Great location for the concert we were attending at the Victoria warehouse and close to a tram link for the city centre Hotel room was clean if a little dated and the bed was comfy although it was 2 beds pushed together

Although comfy the beds were 2 singles pushed together with one mattress being higher than the other so a definite split down the middle making it difficult to sleep close together as you kept falling down the middle. The sheets also didn't fit the bed so woke up on a bare mattress with no mattress protector. The room was clean if a little dated with a vintage brown plastic hairdryer box on the bathroom wall. The bathroom was also fully tiled including the floor which was very slippy when in socks, an in shower non slip mat was provided but just for general non-shower walking to the toilet it was still slippy. The shower was dripping when we arrived and it took us quite a long time to find the perfect level to turn the shower dial to get this to stop. There was no bedside tables and no plugs next to the beds which was also a little inconvenient and the only table height plug available to use without having to crawl under a table to reach was for the TV so we had to choose between chargers and TV. The staff weren't the most helpful with no friendly chat whilst checking in and no offer to see if we wanted to upgrade for breakfast or anything in the morning which we would have done if offered. On check out we had to wait for 3 team members to finish chatting before we were acknowledged stood at the front desk and when asked how long we could park for before heading home felt we got a very sarcastic "well when did you check in"...4pm.... "Well you have till then" smirked answer. No how was your stay. Thank you for staying. Have a good day or anything. Although it did what we needed ... A clean bed for the night it's not somewhere I would stay again even with the convenience of the location.

NEVER GOING BACK

The cleaning staff and the location

Rooms need renovating mattress need upgrading eg stains all over them. A couple of the Reception staff are rude. Tv don't work and even when you ask them to fix it they don't, key locks for the room need to be changed every day as the code doesn't work. The list goes on, bathroom are in need of a upgrade.
