La piscine, le style de l'hôtel.
- Pas de climatisation dans les chambres, un four la nuit... obligé de dormir la fenêtre ouverte avec le ruisseau sous les fenêtres (1 semaine a dormir avec les boules Quies).
- Le manque de personnel et le peu était mal formé, la barmaid présente a partir de 18h et personne ne savait faire les 4 pauvres cocktails de la carte, un jeune manifestement complètement débutant nous a accueilli au petit déjeuner, complètement perdu.
- Le petit déjeuner (yahourt, fromage etc..) refroidi avec un ventilo !! Nous n'avons pas fini le premier avec des Yahourts périmés et n'avons jamais retenté l'expérience, obligé chaque matin d'aller sur CORTE prendre un petit déjeuner.
- Chambre moyennement propre, surtout la salle de bain, et toute petite. Il faut prendre les chambres confort probablement pas les standards.
Il faut mettre du personnel pour le ménage de l'hôtel (l'excuse du COVID n'est pas tenable pour éviter de faire les chambres, les autres Hotels de la région ne font pas ça...).
Il faut mettre les produits à réfrigérer dans les plateaux réfrigérés ou des mini réfrigérateurs pour le petit déjeuner.
Il faut tout de suite proposer une solution alternative pour maintenir les chambres fraiches (ventilateur ou autre) lorsque la température le nécessite et ne pas attendre que le client doive le réclamer (plusieurs fois d'ailleurs...).
Il faut que le bar étende ses horaires d'ouverture et améliorer la carte des cocktails, la piscine est un vrai atout il faut coupler les deux !
J'aurais aimé avoir un avis comme celui-ci avant de choisir cet Hôtel pour les vacances et j'en suis désolé pour les patrons mais il faut respecter les quelques semaines estivales des vacanciers.

Swimming pool and architecture of the place.
Wall Paintings in the bed rooms are not every one’s taste. Not mine in any case. And breakfast was OK but not more than that give the rate they charge for breakfast.

The natural beauty of this location is breathtaking. I wish we had stayed more than one night and been able to enjoy a day in the middle of the reserve. The pool area is lovely, and the river nearby as well. I would recommend anyone to stay here for the nature. The hotel does a really good job of maintaining the outside areas.
When we arrived the room was very stuffy and humid, it probably had been closed for a while. We would have opened the windows but there were a multitude of bugs outside. We asked the staff if they had a dehumidifier or mosquito nets, they said no and that no one had raised this kind of question before... other reviews suggest otherwise...
I would ask the owners to invest in any of the things I mentioned before, or air conditioners, to help climatize the rooms.

what a perfect stay! 2 nights of good food and relaxation. The location was magical. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food simply delicious.

This is a lovely hotel which comes with a good restaurant and good pool, lovely location nestled within the mountains. It is relatively expensive so expect to pay for good quality. We did not use the spa so can not comment on this. The toiletries by Daman were lovely and wish we had asked to buy some.
The bathroom needed some refurbishment.

It was our best hotel in Corsica. The room by the river, the beautiful design of the hotel, the swimming pool, the kind staff and the fantastic restaurant!

Everything was lovely! They accommodated our honeymoon request, the staff were all lovely and the restaurant was exceptional. The pictures do not do the rooms justice and the restaurant/common area is a perfect hang out.
The check out was really unfortunate and awkward. We had charged some things to our room and were clearing that up. The transaction did not go through on their end, but went through on mine. I showed them evidence of this on my phone. The reaction from the hotel was fairly un-fair and quite unfortunate. I asked them to contact their bank to see if they could 'find' the transaction. The hotel outright refused and instead told me if I didn't run it through again they would call it an 'unclosed account', essentially accusing us of 'dine-and-dashing'. I ended up calling my bank and they confirmed that yes, it was on the hotel to take care of it and a fault on their end. Told the hotel this and they again refused to deal with the situation. I ended up having to pay twice for the whole thing. I don't doubt that I will get reimbursed, but what a hassle and such an awkward way to end an otherwise perfect stay. What made this even more frustrating was the hotel said this was an often occurring thing... To have such a fantastic experience marred from an easily preventable thing was pretty unfortunate.

Thé hôtel was comfortable, the pool area clean - not happy with the mildew in the bathroom, missing lightbulb and bathroom fan that ran all night. However reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were made to feel out of place when we asked a kitchen staff ( manager ?) if we could eat at the tables on the deck. We had spent the day visiting artisanal markets to buy local food and wine and wanted to eat at a table on the patio ( rather than in our room which had no table). The staff replied that « you don’t bring your own food to a restaurant « We booked a hotel room not a restaurant reservation- at check in there were raised eyebrows when we said we wouldn’t be dining with them. If it is an expectation that you eat at the hotel we would have chosen another hotel. We ended up squashed into one bedroom ( 4 seniors) eating off napkins and drinking from the paper cups in the room as we were too uncomfortable to ask for plates - not the Corsican picnic we had planned all day.

Fantastic spot in the most magnificent nature. Room was super nice; large and clean, with lovely details. So many spots outside to enjoy the scenary. Pictures are not doing this place justice!

This was my favourite stay during our roadtrip around Corsica! Beautiful surrounding, extra kind staff (also speaking very good English, which was not the case in all hotels in Corsica), perfect swimming pool (big enough that you can actually swim in it;)), dog friendly hotel ... the room was very clean, towels changed daily, bed was very comfortable. Although, like everywhere else in Corsica, there was no vegan options for dinner - the cook was kind enough to prepare something extra just for me. There were also a lot of different options for breakfast. Ccoktails at the bar were great too! ;) I would visit again for sure!
We had a room overlooking the river (stunning view btw!), this is why there was a bit of humid in the room, but this was understandable, since it was also a rainy season.

The pool and location looked lovely, just wish it was hot and sunny
The fact that we arrived at 13:30 and lunch stopped at 13:30!!!! there was no choice of food other than meat and cheese platter, I am vegetarian!! it’s a restaurant!!!!!! There were so many flies which were crawling all over the food, disgusting !!! There was nothing to do that afternoon and we were told that nothing would be open in Vanaco, so we asked for a treatment from the spa, which we were told was also closed!! what sort of spa is that???
We walked to Venaco the next morning to discover that the 2 cafe/bars there are open for food and drink until 2am!!! this was very annoying!!

people leaving at 0400 with trolley bags making a lot of noise. the buffet was very expensive and not good. there was a very bad smell in room no 2.

Lovely setting and great way the inside and outside merged together through the different spaces.
Perhaps the costs for drinks were a bit on the high side.

The restaurant (lunch + dinner + breakfast) was below our expectations, at least compared to the price.
The restaurant itself is really beautiful and the dishes are well presented, but we had a feeling that either the ingedredients were of lower quality or their chef had a bad day…
Also the breakfast could be better compared to the price: no fresh fruits (its high fruit season), tropicana juice advertised as some local brand, a lot of packed products

Very nice setting in the woods and nature. High light is the swimming pool and the deck arround it.
Very good breakfast in the nice restaurant.
The saloons and other places to sit around are super chill. This is a good environment to chill and relax.
The sun beds are not comfortable and they make cracking noices while seated on.
No airco at the room, the room had an odeur of humidity in it. Not too bad. Probably because of the moisture in the woods and no airco.
The menu in the restaurant is extremely limited. Not suited for children. The taste of the food was really not ok, Linguini with gambas. (only the cooking fluid of the gambas was the sauce, no added spices nor other additions) For 29€ you would expect high quality and high class food, which was not.

Breathtaking views and access to the river for swimming. Good breakfast. Fantastic spacious rooms. Quiet location and very stylish. Would recommend and will be visiting again.
The room was facing the sun so it got very hot, the staff did acknowledge this and said they had plans to build a sun shield to avoid this. There were lots of children at the property when it would have been better suited as an adult-only resort, there are no appropriate facilities for children so it can be quite disruptive when visiting a nice property for the price you are paying.

Fan - was noisy and we were very hot in our room.
Evening meal not particularly nice. In fact one or two things were absolutely horrible. We complained to the manager and there was an argument. No apology given or refund. Unfortunately, unless you want to drive a few miles for an evening meal, you will be stuck with their restaurant.
No tea making facilities, just a Nespresso machine. So take a kettle.
The manager refused to give me an extra Nespresso capsule as we both wanted a decaf coffee before bed time but he wanted to charge me for it.
The pool was meant to be heated to 27 degrees but it was cold, imho so I couldn't swim.

We really liked the hotel and its setting, swimming pool etc but unfortunately we had a room in the basement with a terrace towards the river, but it was damp, humid and had insects and smelt damp too. I think if you had higher rooms they would be fine.

We were on a birdwatching break, so location was superb for us, scenery is excellent, food in restaurant very good. My room had a little patio outside overlooking the river - lovely!

My room was with a terrace directly at the river. This was really special. They offered a really good breakfast. For dinner, you can choose a 2 or 3 course menu or a la carte. It was a very good price quality balance. The staff was so nice and gentle. I definitely will come back there - I haven’t yet tried the Spa!
