About this house rental
719 N Downing Max Occupancy 6 including children 4BR/2Bath 1 King 1 Queen 2 Twin Right on the corner of 8th and North Downing, this home is close to town and a block to the beach. All linens are provided (please bring beach towels for beach use). The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee pot. The living room has a piano and fireplace. The dining room is just off the kitchen and living room. There is a TV with cable, VCR, stereo, alarm clock. Upstairs has a Queen bedroom, a 2nd Queen bedroom, and 2 bedrooms with a single twin in each. There is a futon on the sunporch as well. The downstairs bathroom has a tub only, no shower. The upstairs bath has a tub shower combo. There really isn't a back yard to this home. This home has parking for 2 cars only; NO PETS - NO SMOKING - MUST BE 25 TO RENT

The house is an older one, with lovely early farmhouse style charm. Kitchen was completely updated and had everything one could need (and more). The location was quiet, just blocks from the Prom, and seemed central to most everything. We all said we would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

House was musty smelling and needed a repair for a bathtub handle. Lighting was a bit dim in some rooms. Other than that it was great.

Relaxing week staying at a short walk from the ocean. The bathrooms are pretty small but everything else was great including check in/out which was super easy.

It was homey lots of room for all of us, we had 4 generations in the home all week end and we didn't want to leave .we will love to come back next year.🥰 Loved it, thanks so much for the place to be together.

Carpet was gross and turned my kids’ feet black. Hair was left all over the shower walls. Bath and shower too nasty to even get into. Super outdated, gross and odd. Called multiple times to have no one call us back. Super disappointed!

This is a older home with plenty of room. Easy/short walk to the beach. The upstairs rooms only had a few windows that opened so, without AC it got very warm. It would have been nice to have fans in all the rooms to help move the air around. Other than that, it worked fine for our family of 4.

House is super cute with all the space described in the ad. The phone and TVs are old enough that my kids didn't recognize them.

This property was a block from the beach which is what we wanted. The house is comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We could connect to the house WiFi but we were not able to actually get online with any device. Minor inconvenience for us. We had a great time and loved watching VHS tapes.

responsibility to clean
For such a hefty cleaning fee we were a bit annoyed that we were required to do so much washing/drying before we could leave and when required to check out at 11:00 it made a very tight morning. I rented from VRBO last year and although there was a cleaning fee, we were not required to do the cleaning so if I was to rent again I would definitely check to make sure so much was not required.

The house was everything we needed: small bedroom for my toddler, comfy king bed for my husband and I, and even a cute little built in desk for some computer time. Functional and IN TUNE PIANO! We really enjoyed playing together. Water pressure is excellent. Kitchen was a great size and my only qualm was a shortage of ceramic cookware. In sink garbage disposal and plenty of dining space.We walked EVERYWHERE. I think we drove like once, to the grocery store. Location is perfect: a block to the beach and the promenade. Neighborhood is adorable and quiet. There are two tube TVs and some VHS and DVDs: we don’t usually watch much TV on vacation so we didn’t care that it wasn’t modern. Not sure if the TV upstairs is broken or what but we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. Internet worked fine, thank you for keeping the same network name and password that are on the router, made it easy to connect!We accidentally left some kids jigsaw puzzles there, so if you find a box with 4 puzzles in it, enjoy and relax!

Had a great time house was a little further away from town that I thought, Javier walk to beach!
All in all we enjoyed are stay, house was cozy and clean.

Great little place!
Great location! Old house, but had all ammenitities, blender for smoothies didn't work, but that is a personal preference. There is a little BBQ for coal cooking in the back. It heated up fast. Yummy! Close enough to downtown for this family of teenagers to walk , but far enough away, you don't get all the crazy of downtown. Great location for me. And close to the beach so we could trot down for the sweet sunset and fun on the beach.

We loved the location; so close to the beach and town. We found just about everything we needed in the house as far as supplies. Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen ware, etc.. Cute, comfortable and clean home.

Great little beach house
Such a cute quaint little beach house within a few blocks of a wonderful beach and all the seaside fun! Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will absolutely choose this rental again next time we visit!

This house worked perfectly for our party of 8 people. It is just a few blocks from the sand and downtown. We enjoyed our day very much!
