제주에서 한 번 즈음은 호캉스 해봐야 할 호텔

제주에서 알아주는 특급호텔 중 한 곳이라 그런지 전반적인 시설 관리도 잘 되어있었고 좀 올드하지만 좋게 말하면 앤티크한 모습의 호텔의 모습이 좋았습니다. 디너 뷔페도 맛있게 먹었으며 직원들도 친절한 편이었습니다.

물리적인 위치가 탑동 바닷가 앞에 있어서 교통수단으로 오기에는 애매한 점이 아쉬웠습니다. 조용하다는 장점이 있지만 지차체 측과 의논하여 접근성에 대한 해결 방안이 마련되면 좋겠습니다 ㅠㅠ

Not for nightlife.

The hotel is located very close to the airport. From the hotel, it is easily accessible to the oceanfront.

In the evening, you cannot find any restaurant near the hotel. Most restaurants nearby are closed early.

2度目の滞在！5年前と変わらず今回も最高

スタッフの対応。誰と話しても笑顔で素晴らしい。施設はとても綺麗。新しくはないが、清潔に保たれている。

よくないところは、思いつかない。あえて言うなら部屋が換気できず暑かった。3月だけど気温が高かった日。クーラーをつかえないかフロントに問い合わせたけど、暖房しか使えない時期で。。丁寧に説明してくれたから納得はできたけど、なかなか寝苦しかった。

excellent breakfast buffet - never seen a larger selection of items, very nice big rooms with great view (ocean side), nearby large grocery (e-mart) and convenient store right in hotel - most staff members could speak some english, few very well

outside pool closed on Aug 31, while our stay extended well into Sept and weather was definitely hot enough for an outside pool experience, wish it would have stayed open longer in der season

Pleasant

Very nice hotel, but it needs remodeling. We had a nice ocean view.

Room service menu was not good. The room was nice but dated. The bathroom shower was moldy and leaked onto the bathroom floor.

It is certainly a luxury hotel and very comfortable. The conference facilities were also very good.

Disappointing

The staff did their best.

The most glaring shortcoming was food. The restaurant of the hotel, and the only restaurant of notice around, was awfully expensive, especially if you prefer non-Korean, or non-Asian food. For a buffet serving, admittedly quite a lot of choices, but nearly all Korean, the price was exorbitant. Some noodles with cheese, a cookie, and a beer 100$ is too much. Fortunately, there is a very nice, cool restaurant juts across the street, but they are closed half of the week. The other thing is that the reception is at 1st floor, to be access only by rolling stairs (no lift, or not easily visible). Having so much luggage, I tripped and fell badly. The ergonomics of the hotel entrance does not look well thought through. Finally, the location should be great, just across the seashore (no beach etc., though), but the surroundings are rather barren, especially for a non-Korean. Yes, many restaurants, but all with Korean food. Some diversity would have been expected from a top notch hotel, inside, and outside.

uneventful stay

near to sea, gym was q good, breakfast selection was good, free parking, no hot water for the first nite.

difficult to get taxi, staff kp chasing us from breakfast, difficult to access gym, parking was tight, staff couldnt really communicate in english.

View was good with free parking. Kids suite with the bunk bed was good and sizeable.

Toilet plumbing system was not very good as the water in the shower area took a while to subside. Ceiling above the bathroom basin was also leaking. Overall hotel feels a little old. Disappointed flthat there weren't any toothbrush and toothpaste provided given that this is a 5star hotel.

Exceptional

The room was great along with the facilities and the mountain view. The staff was very nice and helpful. I really liked the main conference hall which had an ocean view.

The staff would clean the room and change the towels every day which is of course very nice, but I would like to be able to decide when and if it is needed.

Superb

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Great facilities such as indoor pool and gym. Personnel is kind and helpful.

It was not clear that the water was complimentary so I bought too much water and did not use all the bottles that they kept leaving in my room.

Can be better with housekeeping

Location of hotel was actually good, very near airport. There are eating places around so it was easy to settle our meals. Staff could speak English and that made our lives easier. They were very helpful and helped us call for cabs early morning. Thank you for the good service.

There were 3 of us staying in the room but everyday, there were only 2 towels and 2 complimentary water bottles. I was told we were entitled to 4 water bottles so I had called the first night for one more towel and 2 more bottles. The front desk staff passed them to me very quickly. Second night, I had to call again and the third night, the same thing happened and i basically gave up. I just wished housekeeping had checked how many guests were in the room before replenishing the number of towels and bottles given that this is a 5 star hotel. No smart TV. Cld have been better if I could log in to netflix. Cable TV were mostly in Korean.

Very good

Housekeeping and laundry service responded fast and friendly. The seaside view from room was great. Overall, Hotel has nice surroundings and friendly staff.

Suggest hotel provide welcome.drink for guest arriving. Suggest to have a guest lounge for guests to rest while waiting for check-in. After guest check-in, suggest hotel can assist guest to bring luggages to the room.

Very good

The location was excellent, right on the water and near plenty of restaurants.

The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool required swim caps, which you had to purchase separately if you didn't have one. There was also no solid door or wall between the bedroom and bathroom, so it wasn't very private.

Great view, dated interior.

The sea view is absolutely stunning and the beds were really comfortable. Also, the service was really nice. the hotel is huge, but spacious, so you don't really notice other people.

Very odd choice to have bathroom separated by louvre doors and to have a louvred window into the bedroom. The window is too high to make any sense really. It might've have been a choice to improve air circulation, it didn't really help though because wooden elements are swollen with moisture. In general, as for being one of the theoretically fancier hotels in the neighbourhood, it was surprisingly dated.

Nice but not worth the money

We used the hotel more than expected due to very poor weather, and it looks impressive and the rooms were large and comfortable and had nice extras like bath robes. But it wasn’t as good as the price requires given much cheaper options available Breakfast buffet was decent with lots of options but quite expensive

The hotel advertises a restaurant but it was closed for the whole time we were there. The only option was the buffet which was extortionately expensive. We ordered room service which was expensive and also incredibly disappointing - the food arrived cold, options were very limited, everything was tasteless - the noodles from the convenience store were better than those we got in room service! We booked the hotel because of the leisure facilities but they were all closed in the day we arrived and on the next day the gym and pool were open but the outdoor pool was closed. We paid a lot of money to stay here but it didn’t feel worth it when half the facilities were closed

Lovely

Staff were extremely helpful in responding to our requests for additional items to the room etc. They were also helpful in giving us directions, although it was mostly in Korean. That might not be so helpful for those who can’t speak/write. Hotel was old but clean and the rooms were very spacious, being close to the water was also atmospheric! There’s also a stretch of eateries nearby at jungang. It’s close to the airport.

It’s close to jeju city itself, but far from all the places of interest. Thankfully it being at the north makes it somewhat equidistant from east, west and south jeju. Only heating was available since it was still cold spring, but heating was a little too effective. Staff were nice to bring us fans to use.
