Exceptional

Everything, we liked everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and kind. Anthonio rocked! He helped us out with our luggage and brought us breakfast every morning. Mike also gave us accurate information about santorini and helped us to rent a car and booked our transfer to the airport. The place was beautiful and the best location on the island. Our room was fantastic, thanks to Mike and Antonio, and we will certainly come back

Nice staff with magnificent views.

The staff are nice and cooperative. They made perfect arrangements for transportations and cruising. The suites are very close to the Old Castle. Easy to access to Nik Nomikou.

The slope of the stairs were bit quite steep for old couples.

Loved the location We should have rang to ask for directions and help with the luggage instead of struggling down the very difficult path Service great and always able to help with anything we wanted

From our arrival to our departure, the staff here made sure that we were taken care of!

Breakfast was continental (we were provided a sheet to make our selections) and just what I needed to start my day. I appreciated that Antonio would bring it up to my patio every morning, at my requested time. The view was absolutely gorgeous and I would stay there again. The staff from our bellhop/breakfast server/umbrella opener- Antonio, our housekeeper and the concierge/frontdesk was always available and very friendly.

The only hard part of this location was the stairs-some were steep and definitely required your attention. To their defense, this was stated in the room description. It's also very common in lots of places in Santorini, if you want the much-coveted caldera view.

This experience was Magical!!!!! Our stay capped a wonderful anniversary trip!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Michael and his wonderful staff did an outstanding job making us feel like royalty from the minute Antonio met us to get our bags, until we finally departed! This was as my wife describes it "Magical" It was our 50th wedding anniversary trip of a lifetime and we were not disappointed with anything. The flowers I ordered were arranged beautifully! Breakfast was served to us each day on our patio overlooking the beautiful blue Aegean Sea! with a nice variety of pre-selected items. The setting was so awesome and it was right in the heart of things with plenty of wonderful restaurants and unique shops. For our anniversary we were even upgraded to a larger room for the first couple nights because the suite was available. Our other room was very nice as well! We thank you very much for this experience! Jim & Janet

Hotel experience like no other…the view and the room.

The view was Insane!! the room was perfect and comfortable and so traditional. I love the cave and the terrace was big with a dining area and a sunbathing area. Great breakfast delivered to your room. Staff was so nice and friendly and accommodating, helping with our bags when we arrived and when we departed. They scheduled a great boat excursion for us and helped with restaurant choices. the location is excellent. Easy to get around. Next to the Tower for sunset and only a few minute walk to the 3 iconic blue domes. Thanks to Mike for answering all our texts whenever we had any questions.

There are like 20+ pretty steep stairs down to get to the room and more to visit reception. Be prepared. So worth it!!

Best ever!!

The staff were very attentive, friendly and met all my needs. Breakfast was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the room. Would definitely recommend to others.

Exceptional

Breakfast was nice. Nespresso machine also available in room. Staff very friendly and accommodating: both our inbound and outbound flights were late and we were picked up at night from the taxi drop off point on arrival. Our flight back was even later and we could leave our luggage all day, use the common facilities and pick up the luggage late evening.

Fabulous stay in a fabulous location.

Breakfast was excellent and well catered for. Mike was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. He was kind enough to help take our bags up and down the stairs and is one of the nicest people we met in Greece. Highly recommended!

staying here is what you think of when you imagine a Greek Island vacation. we loved our time at Aefios.

The view was amazing! Mike was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. The room and patio was very comfortable and relaxing. even though we were in a busy part of Oia, it was so quiet in our room and on our patio - it was like a little tranquil paradise.

it was very busy outside the hotel given it being right next to the castle which is the preferred destination point for sunset seekers. the stairs are steep and anybody with mobility issues or feelings of vertigo may give it pause.

A private stay with breathtaking views

Location is excellent, close to the very heart of Oia. Very private compared to other accommodations in the area, which is a big advantage. Staff is attentive and the rooms are kept very clean. Breakfast is nice and served to the rooms on requested time. Views absolutely breathtaking, and some of the balconies are surrounded by rosemaries and lavender. Simply a lovely stay, thank you!

There is not really any downsides to this accommodation, yet the stairs to the rooms are steep and thus perhaps not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility.

Awesome location

Mike was of great help throughout our stay. He provided excellent recomendations and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location of this hotel apartment is also amazing. Right next to the castle with the best views.

Fab October stay in Oia

The location was perfect - easy to get to the places we wanted to see. The cave-house-style apartment was excellent - it had two bedrooms, and a friend was able to join us. The balcony seating was great on pleasant evenings, and the view was just great. Nicholas was just fantastic, he looked after all of our needs and was extremely helpful before and during our stay. A big shout out to George who also gave terrific support. I would definitely recommend this apartment to travelers interested in the beauty of Oia.

I was not a fan of the stairs, although my hubby and friend thought they were ok :) The drones were annoying, but something you can live with. The facilities were good, although if there was a microwave or stove-top, it would be ideal!

Great Staff, perfect location!

The location of this property could not be more ideal, so close to all the shops and restaurant. Picturesque views everywhere you look. Nikolas and his staff were amazing, they cleaned and refreshed our suite daily, booked taxi’s for us, made reservations for dinner. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you Nikolas!

Amazing location, out of this world view, gracious host

We loved our stay here. We arranged for them to pick us up from the airport which was great because the main road is about a ten minute walk from the hotel and they helped us with our bags. Nikolas was really friendly and helpful. The view was amazing and the room was lovely. They filled the fridge instead of providing a cooked breakfast - yogurt, honey, bread, cheese, coffee, etc. I loved this idea as it meant we could use the food at any time during the day. The steps down to the rooms are very steep so not suitable for everyone but they were fine for us. The location was excellent - right on the sunset spot. Overall this is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at - I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Santorini!

Amazing location, friendly staff and the apartment was very cute.

Too many stairs and no room service. One more thing, the pick n drop service wasn't on time, poor Nicholas had to coordinate again and again with them.

Exceptional

The view was amazing and the location was perfect! It is a charming property that has old world charm with modern amenities. Nicholas, the manager, was so attentive and accommodating. The hotel is next to the Castle, so seeing the sunsets was easy and amazing. Nicholas arranged dinner reservations and transportation for us and even served as guide to our locations so navigating the cobblestone streets was easy. We always felt safe and cared for. Our only complaint is that we did not stay longer! We would highly recommend the propery and most importantly the staff.

Stellar views & service!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay at Aeifos Traditional House. The views are simply stunning - located next to the Oía castle ruins. While it is a hike to walk through city center to reach your final destination - hands down, the location is worth it. Nikolas went above and beyond to make sure my birthday was celebrated - working with my boyfriend Nikolas provided a bottle of wine to celebrate and surprised us with a birthday cake and candle! We were so touched with the personal service and attention to detail. As an event manager who works with hotels all over the world - this property was superb. Thank you for making our first time in Santorini so special.

Location, Location, Location!

What an amazing stay. Location can’t be beat from the gorgeous sunset on a private rooftop terrace to the sunrise from the bottom terrace you won’t want to leave. Close enough to the center, but once you enter the property you are in your own quiet retreat. Nikolas and the staff are exceptional and took great care of us. Can’t wait to go back!
