The apartment is pleasant & well appointed - great for 2 people. Fabulous views, good location.

The apartment is centrally located and very comfortable with fabulous views. It is modern, fresh and clean and well appointed. It was just my husband and I - and the space was sufficient. Would be very 'snug' for 4+. Transportation links are good. It's a short walk from the nearest bus stop and 5 minute walk from the train station. Villars is a beautiful town, immaculately maintained with a lovely selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels.

On our arrival around 8.30 pm the reception was dark and closed and there was nobody there. I telephoned the agent to let them know we had arrived. A young man appeared after around 10 minutes to open up the apartment. Communication was not easy -but he made it clear he wanted a 200 CHF in cash as a security deposit. I hadn't been made aware of this at the time of booking. The agent informed me they had forgotten to send me a pre-arrival email which contained this information. The information was not included at the time of booking or as part of the owner's policy etc on Booking.com. There is a very steep foot path linking the apartment block to the town - was okay for us - other than when pushing heavy luggage up the path in order to make our way to the bus stop. The owner made contact with us as we left to apologise for the confusion over the security deposit, but somehow I was made to feel that I was in the wrong!

beautiful view from the balcony. Murphy beds were super convenient. well equipped kitchen. steps from shops/restaurants and lifts

apartment was very hot even with the heat off - thin walls so heat from other apartments came in

A few improved elements would make it good

Location and garden

No stores in windows, knifes and cooking pots outdated, apartment and garden were not properly cleaned, better host explanation on benefits with the promo card

the view is spectacular and the balcony was a lovely place to lounge

the bedding was low quality and we were promised a tourism card which allows free transport in return for the tourism tax and this only arrived on day three. The manager also felt the need to enter the apartment to take a photo of the wifi instructions which was unwelcome.

Good location near the center and nice view into the mountains Well equipped apartment.

No staff at the apartment and staff was late by 45 min at arrival.

the communication with the staf is very difficult. İn spite of the health issıe, they did not accept it and we have ro pay the more, we could not stay 6 nights.

spacious appartment with fabulous view on the balcony.

good location and good view from the balcony. Room is spacious with two bath room, perfect for family. The owner is very quick response.

furniture is bit old. sofa is not very confortable. the bed in the living room has some problem to fold.

Super apartment with stunning mountain view.

This apartment is very comfortable and the view from the apartment at the surrounding mountains is stunning. At our arrival the owner was already there waiting for us. He showed us everything in the apartment and also where to throw away trash and how to get to the inside swimming pool. In the basement of the apartment complex you can use a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen in the apartment is equipped with all necessary utensils. It even has a microwave/oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, fondue, gourmette and a Nespresso coffee machine. Furthermore you can use a vacuum cleaner and an iron. One of the two bathrooms is ensuite to the bedroom. The apartment is 100% clean. The owner supplied a card for each person, which you can use for free transport (bus, train, cable car) in the surrounding area.

Exceptional, central location close to the thermal baths, shops, restaurants and train station. The residence is a former hotel and is located behind the Rue Centrale. The appartement that we occupied had a sunny, panoramic terrace. Swimming pool on site. Sparkling clean and cosy. Thank you!
