Shelley's place suited our requirements very well. It's in a great location with a supermarket, cafe's and public transport all very close. The accommodation is quite compact but roomy enough for the four of us. Outdoor area with BBQ was great as is the host Shelley who made us feel very welcome.

Lovely sandstone cottage, convenient to shops and parks.
Double beds were super comfy, and the outdoor entertaining area was great for our family.
Everything you need for a short stay.

Very comfortable and easy to use. Slight confusion with the bins as we weren't sure which was rubbish, which was recycling and bottle return. Overall, a great place to stay. Thanks.

We completely enjoyed our stay from check-in to checkout.
It was very comfortable, and we probably slept better during our stay than in our own home. Shelley (The owner) who lives next door was very helpful and responsive and we would recommend this property to anyone wishing to in Adelaide.

Compact, clean, quiet, private and very comfortable.
Off street parking.
The host was really accomodating with very responsive communication when needed via the Stayz site.
Set in a quiet street of inner-Adelaide not too far from the CBD and close everything you'd need in a nice strip of eateries and shops.
Would definitely stay here again.

The bungalow is large with very nice furnishing and was well equipped. I found the memory foam mattress topper a bit odd at first but we both slept really well, so no complaints with the comfort of the bed. Wi-fi was excellent too! The location is a pleasant, quiet residential area with shops, restaurants and a reliable bus service into the CBD just a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely home in a convenient area. We had no problem except NO basic provisions. Tea and coffee are fine but, on arrival after travelling, they are not helpful if no milk! There was nothing else. We are experienced travellers and have always found welcoming basic provisions, if not even more.

Dog friendly yard not as we thought.
Microwave unusable as on top of a very tall fridge.
Could not open windows for fresh air.
Due to illness we left after the 1st week of our 2 week hire period.

We are from the Northern Territory and needed emergency accommodation in Adelaide due to a serious health matter. Our hostess responded to our request almost immediately and was very sensitive to our situation and our needs.
The property is very convenient and in a beautiful part of Adelaide. It is close to the city, major hospitals and other appealing Adelaide attractions.
Selly Redman is close by and available when there are any issues that need addressing. She is considerate and made sure the cooling system was on and the house was prepared for our arrival to reduce the stress my family was already under.
The beds are very comfortable and offer a restful sleep for those in need of good rest. The cottage has a rustic charm consistent with the period in which it was built. While the kitchen does not provide for the preparation of gourmet banquets, it is adequate for preparing light meals and far superior to commercial alternatives.
I would advise anyone who needs a quick reply to their accommodation requests to contact Shelly and consider her 'Gentles Cottage'.

We were very disappointed with our accommodation, the rooms that we had were not those as advertised,it was a duplex and the photos must have been of the other half of the house.
The lounge and bedroom were acceptable it was the kitchen that was not just misleading it was not the same room, it was so dark and gloomy,it had no windows just a blanket/rug hanging on the wall pretending to be a curtain plus a table and bench pushed up against the wall, the kitchen in the advertisement was light and bright with proper benches and seperate table and chairs,in our kitchen we had the usual fridge microwave toaster etc,but so top of each other there was no room to prepare a meal.
In the list of Rules & Reg. Which was very Forcibly written !! It stated that dogs were not charged for but this was not reflected in our final quote for our Spoodle, I thought this exorbitant at the time but didn’t want to start looking at properties all over again, they also suggested that you stand on a metal stool to switch on the heater positioned over the door as the switch was broken.!!!!
The air/con is controlled by the owner next door who was fortunately home when we required it turned on.
This was our first experience with Air B&B not a good omen, as for the breakfast part of B&B there was not even any salt & pepper in the various containers, but there was beer and chocolate in the fridge . I have photos of the kitchen that was in our accommodation to compare to the advertised photos.

The accommodation was superb and was exactly what we needed to celebrate our daughter's 21 birthday away from home with our dogs. Shell was absolutely fantastic and even picked up balloons and decorations so the house was a surprise for my daughter when she arrived. This was topped by a birthday gift - so thoughtful. The property was in an excellent location just minutes from town, and was immaculate. the yard was secure for the dogs, and the area was top notch. Highly recommended.
